Everything they do is in defense of “our democracy” while even the slightest push back is called a threat to “our democracy” which is always a signal to the mob.

But now Biden’s own party is searching for ways to get rid of him. And the party’s best odds lie with supplanting the two democratically chosen candidates, Biden and Kamala Harris, with Gov. Gavin Newsom or some other last minute usurper who wasn’t chosen by anyone.

In the modern world, the name of a political party is chiefly descriptive of what the party does not support.

I have a prediction. I don’t think Biden’s debate face-plant will hurt him much with his core constituency, whites who earn over $200,000. Those voters are motivated by a combination of economic self-interest and an irrational hatred of Donald Trump. The large majority of them would vote for Biden if he died between now and the election.

The danger to Democrats lies elsewhere; specifically, with black and Hispanic voters. I predict that in two to three weeks, we will see a pretty dramatic shift in the polls among those voters. Both groups are already tending toward Trump and the Republicans, and are increasingly skeptical of the Democrats’ arrogant claim to be entitled to their votes, regardless of how poorly they perform.

Biden’s landmark Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Democratic Party megadonor James Simons’s hedge fund substantially upped its financial stake in several solar energy companies, which reaped windfalls from the bill.

According to federal elections filings, eight days before Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) publicly unveiled the IRA on July 27, 2022, Simons wired $2.5 million to Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC. Then, in August, one week after President Joe Biden signed the bill into law, Simons sent another $2.5 million check to the same PAC.

Simons’s trading activity, coupled with his aptly timed donations to the Senate Majority PAC, raises questions about whether he had advance knowledge of the IRA negotiations, which were supposedly kept private until Schumer and Manchin’s announcement in late July.

The National Education Association has accused Moms for Liberty of being a pawn of “wealthy conservative donors,” even though the teachers union’s revenue is 185 times as great as that of the parental rights group.

The nation’s largest teachers union—which charges its members dues, often totaling $1,000 a year—called Moms for Liberty, which offers free memberships to 130,000, a tool of “ultrawealthy privateers who seek to abolish America’s public school system” in a Friday article.

Moms for Liberty reported $2.1 million in total revenue in 2022. The NEA, on the other hand, reported revenues of about $371 million for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

California governor Gavin Newsom, in a pre-recorded state of the state address on Tuesday, touted himself as the first Golden State leader to write a homelessness plan. California’s homeless population has grown 17 percent since Newsom took office and the state has the largest homeless population in the country.

“Let me remind you that when I became governor in 2019, there was no state homeless strategy, no state plan,” Newsom said. “There was no significant investment. … There was no accountability expected or anything demanded in return, no requirement for demonstrable results.”

His boast comes just a few months after a state auditor found that California officials failed to track $24 billion in homelessness spending and have no way to determine which of their many costly programs are working. Since Newsom assumed office in 2019, California’s homeless population has grown from 151,278 people, according to federal figures, to 181,399 at the last count.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan’s latest drop of (R-OH) Amazon Files uncovered that the Big Tech giant suppressed at least 43 books at the behest of President Joe Biden’s administration.

The third installment of The Amazon Files, released Friday, revealed that the Biden administration pressured tech giant Amazon to censor vaccine-critical books that came out even before the COVID-19 vaccine. “Under the guise of combatting ‘anti-vaccine’ misinformation, Amazon censored everything from picture books for children to books criticizing Big Pharma,” Jordan wrote in an X post.

Jordan shared screenshots of internal emails at Amazon revealing that employees “create[d] a new [Do Not Promote] class for anti-vax books.” The employee added, “The impetus for this request is criticism from the Biden administration about sensitive books we’re giving prominent placement to, and should be handled urgently.” The emails further show a discussion about whether books should be “remove[d] from sale” since they were often sought out by name rather than being discovered by general searches.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, prosecutors argued that the protesters didn’t have a criminal history and so it was better to leave any punishment to the university.

One can stipulate that Trump has presented no evidence sufficient to support a claim that he lost the 2020 election based on voter fraud; one can further stipulate that Trump’s pressure on Mike Pence to delay election certification was rooted in baseless misinterpretation of the Constitution. In reality, however, the truest threat to American democracy isn’t stubborn unwillingness to concede an election or groundless legal wrangling. It is the continuing attempt to create a series of institutions impervious to public rebuke or electoral accountability, comprised of pseudo-experts who act as “authorities” on a wide range of issues affecting Americans.

It is the creation and maintenance of a permanent bureaucracy, organized by the political left and catering to its whims.

Many Democrats already said they would boycott the speech, but they are now developing “counter-programming” events to spoil the speech and demonstrate their dissatisfaction with the leader of the Jewish state and the way he’s waged war against Hamas in Gaza.

Some of the ideas Democrats have proposed reportedly include a press conference, a vigil, and an event with the families of Israeli hostages who believe Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure their release.

Friday marked a big win for gun rights advocates when the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a Trump administration-era ban on bump stocks by the ATF. In their immediate reactions to the 6-3 ruling, CNN Newsroom pontificators were largely unhappy with the court’s affirmation of a piece of plastic not being a machine gun and lauded the “fiery” dissenting opinion authored by liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Of course, the opinion just flaunted their ignorance of firearm mechanics.

The far-left smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center reportedly terminated a quarter of its staff Wednesday, weakening and perhaps eliminating two of its departments amid a restructure that heavily hit its union members.

The SPLC “gutted its staff by a quarter,” the organization’s union posted on X. (Yes, this nonprofit organization has its own labor union. If staff get tired of protesting Alliance Defending Freedom, they can protest management, instead.) The SPLC told more than 60 union members, including five union stewards and the union’s chair, that they would be losing their jobs.

Eight climate protesters were arrested Wednesday night after running onto the field during the Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

During the second inning, the protesters hopped the fence to the field, wearing shirts saying, “END FOSSIL FUELS.”

U.S. Capitol Police and security members quickly tackled the protesters. Police removed the eight demonstrators and the game resumed, the Washington Examiner reported.

The granddaughter of Hillary Clinton’s mentor was arrested on felony burglary charges after she occupied a Stanford University building during anti-Israel protests last week.

Zoe Edelman, a rising senior and a managing editor of the Stanford Daily, was one of 13 students who barricaded themselves inside the Stanford president’s office while demanding that the school divest from Israel, according to arrest records.

Edelman is the granddaughter of Children’s Defense Fund founder Marian Wright Edelman, whom Hillary Clinton has called “my hero and mentor.” Clinton interned with Marian Wright Edelman while studying at Yale Law School, and she later served on the board of the Children’s Defense Fund.

The latest fiasco involves a RICO case against one rapper named Young Thug and co-defendants, in which Mr. Thug (Jeffrey Lamar Williams) and pals have been charged with several gang-related crimes related to the “Young Slime Life” group.

During a Monday court hearing, Mr. Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, was arrested after alleging that the judge, Ural Glanville, arranged a “secret” meeting with a key witness, Kenneth Copeland (a no-no).

Judge Glanville gave Steel until 5pm to disclose his source regarding the secret meeting, arguing that Steel wasn’t supposed to have any communication with a state witness sworn to testify.

Steel, facing a contempt charge, refused to reveal his source citing attorney-client privilege – after which he can be seen being taken into custody.

In June 2021, then-House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler decried “the right-wing extremists” and “terrorists” who breached the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Weeks later, the New York Democrat accepted a $1,000 campaign contribution from an old friend: domestic terrorist Susan Rosenberg, who led a communist group that firebombed the U.S. Senate offices and other buildings in its quest to overthrow the government.

Rosenberg, whom Nadler helped obtain a presidential pardon in 2001, gave to Nadler’s campaign on July 26, 2021, according to campaign finance records. Since 2020, she has donated to “Squad” members Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), Cori Bush (D., Mo.), Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), Summer Lee (D., Pa.), and Jamaal Bowman (D., N.Y.), who accused former president Donald Trump of trying to “overthrow our government to advance his fascist cause.”

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D., Wis.) has raised over $1 million from California donors while attacking her Republican opponent for having West Coast ties.

Baldwin has raised $1.4 million from Golden State benefactors in the 2024 cycle, according to campaign finance records. That’s nearly 10 times as much as her Republican challenger Eric Hovde—a businessman whom Baldwin has slammed as a “California bank owner”—has taken from California donors.

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has taken aim at Hovde for owning a mansion in Laguna Beach and holding a leadership role at the California-based Sunwest Bank. The pro-Baldwin Capital Times, a left-leaning newspaper in Madison, described Hovde’s campaign as “awash in California cash” and reported that he has “collected $60,000 from campaign donors with California ties.”

“Whether by mistake or fraud,” 334 deceased Michigan registrants are listed on government records as registering to vote after their date of death, according to a recent filing in the federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF).

Nearly four years ago, the PILF discovered 27,000 names of likely deceased registrants on the state’s Qualified Voter File (QVF).

The five criminal and civil prosecutions of Donald Trump all prompt heated denials from Democrats that President Biden and Democrat operatives had a role in any of them.

Here’s the way the left’s game is played. It’s not just about the Trump verdict – for example, they have used the same technique in connection with accepting the results of the 2020 election. But it is very much in evidence right now in regard to the NY verdict against Trump:

(1) The left alters or ignores the usual rules, which destroys trust in an institution in order to “get” their opposition.
(2) The institution can be almost anything: the FBI, presidential elections, or the legal system, to take a few recent examples.
(3) The right responds by criticizing the compromised institution and the left.
(4) The left acts shocked, SHOCKED that the right has stopped respecting the hallowed institution that is a pillar of our government and society.

On Thursday, May 30th, a jury of 12 New Yorkers erased the last distinctive line between Biden’s America and Putin’s Russia. With their verdict against Donald Trump, finding him guilty on 34 counts of forging business records, they verified that the Democrat party—the party of the sitting president—can organize a trial with its party operatives as judge and prosecutor, and get their political opponent found guilty.

The judge in the case, Juan Merchan, is an entrenched Democrat who has been selected to prosecute more Republicans than just Donald Trump. In the America that we all knew before Biden came into office, judges were selected randomly; from now on, ‘random’ means a Democrat when the defendant is a Republican.

The prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, was elected to the position as District Attorney of Manhattan after having campaigned on a promise to prosecute—more appropriately persecute—Donald Trump. In the America that we all knew before Biden came into office, a DA had to first investigate a case before he could judge whether or not to file charges against anyone.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, along with 13 other state attorneys general, asked the U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday to open a civil rights investigation following the pardon of Daniel Perry by Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott.

Abbott issued a full pardon May 16 to Perry, a former U.S. Army sergeant convicted of murder for fatally shooting Garrett Foster during a Black Lives Matter protest in 2020. Prosecutors said Perry, who is white, could have avoided a confrontation with Foster, who was also white, by driving away but instead chose to confront the crowd of protesters.

Both men were legally armed. Perry had been in state prison on a 25-year sentence since his conviction in 2023.

Boston’s 39-year-old Mayor, Michelle Wu, wants to follow in the footsteps of San Francisco, Philadelphia, Seattle, Denver, New York, and other liberal strongholds – where property crimes, including grand larceny and motor vehicle theft, have seen a sharp increase in recent years.

As the Daily Mail reports, Wu wants to make crimes including shoplifting and disorderly conduct off-limits to prosecution. She also wants to include certain categories of breaking and entering, wanton and malicious property destruction, larceny under $250, and trespassing as non-prosecutable crimes. She did toss in drug possession – which is fine as long as crimes like disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace are enforced.

Maryland Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin called on seven Supreme Court justices, with the help of President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, to force Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas to recuse themselves from the Jan. 6-related cases.

Raskin, in an opinion column for The New York Times, wrote that it “seems unfathomable that the two justices could get away with deciding for themselves whether they can be impartial in ruling” on certain cases.
