The Cornell 7 Is Midterm Political Theater

All politics are gender politics. Since the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, female emotionalism has defined US social, legal, and international policy. Women are the largest sex-based voting group in the United States, both in number of ballots cast and in turnout rate. In the 2024 presidential election, about 91.3 million women voted versus 82.6 million men, and women’s turnout was 66.9%, compared with 63.7% for men.

But Woke progressives don’t hold power in presidential elections. They win in the midterms. Each midterm is an effort to emotionally agitate women into going to the polls to decide “the most important vote of our lives” at the midpoint of every presidential cycle. It makes no difference whether the President is on Team Woman. The narrative is always rooted in the fear of men (always white men) killing, raping, controlling, or oppressing women.

In 2014, the midterm fem-rage was inspired by the 7 fraternity brothers at UVA who were falsely accused of a brutal gang rape of “Jackie,” written by feminist Sabrina Erdley and published in Rolling Stone Magazine. The story was later proven to be a hoax Erdley deliberately fabricated, and Rolling Stone was held liable for $4.5M. But the story’s similarities and timing eerily match the Cornell 7 story that will be in the news until the November 3rd elections.
