Minnesota’s largest teachers union is under fire this week over its “professional development” courses on topics such as “Interrupting Whiteness” and “LGBTQ+ Training.”
The “racial equity trainings” can be brought “to your building” when requested by Education Minnesota members, the union website explains, and offer instruction on topics like “Culturally Responsive Teaching With a Racial Justice Lens” and “Cultural Competency.” Educators in the state are required to fulfill a “cultural competency” training in order to renew their teaching licenses, which can include topics such as “Systemic Racism,” “Gender Identity, Including Transgender Students,” “Language Diversity,” and more, according to the state government page.
The union website features similar content across the board, offering materials on “Anti-immigrant rhetoric & deportation,” various “anti-racism” resources, and a “racial and social justice” page claiming “certain politicians” are using police officers against minority students.

Aber Kawas claims that her activism began when her illegal alien father was deported after being arrested for a crime in New Jersey. Now she’s Zohran Mamdani’s first endorsement.
Kawas had described Fahad Hashmi, convicted of providing material support to Al Qaeda, a synagogue bomber and the Hamas fundraisers known as the ‘Holy Land 5” as “imprisoned heroes” and “living martyrs”. (Mamdani had previously also expressed his support for the jailed Hamas fundraisers.) She expressed support for Ahmed Ferhani, who plotted to throw grenades into a synagogue, calling him “my brother, whose case I’ve followed and whose family I know.”

Either Judge James Boasberg just hasn’t gotten the message about his outrageous behavior, or this Obama-appointed judge thinks he’s above the law. He’s proved to be a rogue judge, running roughshod over the separation of powers, and repeatedly acting in ways that are unethical, possibly illegal, and blatantly partisan. And these actions go all the way back to President Trump’s first term.

Four people were killed and 10 wounded in a mass shooting at a child’s birthday party in California on Saturday night, local police said, calling it a “targeted incident.”
The shooting took place inside a banquet hall in Stockton, northeast of San Francisco, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Heather Brent told reporters in a news briefing.

Representatives of European Union member states reached an agreement on Wednesday in the Council of the EU to move forward with the controversial “Chat Control” child sexual abuse regulation, which paves the way for new rules targeting abusive child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on messaging apps and other online services.
“Every year, millions of files are shared that depict the sexual abuse of children… This is completely unacceptable. Therefore, I’m glad that the member states have finally agreed on a way forward that includes a number of obligations for providers of communication services,” said Danish Minister for Justice, Peter Hummelgaard.
The deal, which follows years of division and deadlock among member states and privacy groups, allows the legislative file to move into final talks with the European Parliament on when and how platforms can be required to scan user content for suspected child sexual abuse and grooming.

The German town of Külsheim is dealing with the soaring costs of terror-proofing German Christmas markets with a very festive solution: anti-tank barriers.
Cut-rate jihadis just love to drive cars through Christmas crowds.
The German public media reporting this news does not even blink about how absurd the situation has become, but instead actually praises the “creative solution” of the anti-tank barriers. For skeptics, the anti-tank barriers may serve as a comical or tragic illustration of German Christmas markets moving beyond a mere police state and right into something resembling a militarized zone.
The Christmas market in Külsheim, which has a population of approximately 5,000 and is located in the southern state of Baden-Württemberg, has announced it is saving money by recycling anti-tank barriers for its Christmas market.

President Donald Trump on Friday intensified his challenge to the legitimacy of former President Joe Biden’s official actions, declaring on Truth Social that “[a]ny document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby canceling and of no further force or effect.”
Trump claimed Biden didn’t even know what was being authorized in many cases, saying staff pushed documents through the signing machine without Biden’s awareness.
He warned that if Biden now claims he personally approved those documents, “he will be brought up on charges of perjury.”

President Donald Trump said that his administration may deport the family of the Afghan refugee who allegedly shot two National Guard soldiers blocks from the White House on Wednesday.
“Well, we’re looking at that right now,” the president told reporters on Thursday when asked if he plans to deport the wife and children of 29-year-old suspect Rahmanullah Lakamal.
“We’re looking at the whole situation with family,” he added. “It’s a tragic situation.”

Two Syrian brothers are on trial in the Netherlands accused of murdering their teenage sister over her “Western behaviour”.
Mohamed Najjar, 23, and Muhanad Al Najjar, 25, are alleged to have gagged, bound and thrown 18-year-old Ryan Al Najjar in a swamp after discovering she had a boyfriend, which prosecutors claim brought “shame” on the family.
Their father, Khaled, is accused of ordering the “honour killing” and has reportedly fled to Syria.
Ryan’s body was found submerged in a swamp six days after she disappeared from the family home in Joure.
The discovery was made by a passer-by on May 28 in Lelystad, around 25 miles north-east of Amsterdam.
DNA belonging to her father was found lodged under Ryan’s fingernails by investigators, suggesting that she had fought back before she was killed.
Her father is set to be tried in absentia.

Critical infrastructure projects can be delayed for years by the “arrival of a single Arctic tern” as Britain is “too risk adverse”, the author of a government report has said.
This week John Fingleton, former boss of the Office of Fair Trading, made headlines with his report into barriers facing nuclear power development and the revelation that more than £700 million is being spent at Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in Somerset on measures expected to save 0.083 salmon and 0.028 sea trout a year.
The 162-page report laid bare the reality of building in the UK: British nuclear plants are the most expensive ever. But Fingleton has told The Times that the issues he identified with nuclear building are systemic or wider issues.
Government priorities under the Woke Agenda are seriously screwed up.

Christmas markets now routinely use vehicle-blocking barriers to prevent ramming attacks, and in Augsburg that has resulted in an unusual scene: security staff repeatedly shifting heavy steel blockers by hand so trams can continue running through the market area.
The city has closed the street in front of the town hall to all traffic except trams and emergency vehicles during the Christmas Market. Instead of installing fixed concrete blocks, Augsburg is relying on mobile Pitagone steel barriers from its existing municipal inventory—equipment normally used for major local events such as the Summer Nights festival, the Plärrer fair, and other large gatherings in the city centre.
The barriers, designed to stop a vehicle attack, cannot be moved automatically. Each time a tram approaches, three employees from the security firm contracted by the city use pallet jacks and muscle power to slide the multi-ton devices aside with precision, before returning them to position moments later.

In his Nov. 24 op-ed, Seattle conservative commentator Jason Rantz puts a sharp spotlight on what he frames as the overlooked reality of Washington’s fentanyl pipeline: that major trafficking networks are increasingly being run or staffed by illegal immigrants.
Rantz reports that federal agents dismantled two international drug rings in October—one tied to Ecuador, the other to Mexico—resulting in more than 18 arrests and the seizure of millions of lethal fentanyl doses, narcotics, illegal firearms, and even an improvised explosive device.
Rantz writes that the central revelation is that “many of the suspects… are in this country illegally,” a detail he says federal officials had not previously made public. U.S. Attorney Neil Floyd confirmed to The Jason Rantz Show that not all suspects are U.S. citizens and that investigators routinely discover unlawful status during arrests.

Democrats continue to double down and pander to the woke demographic whenever they see an opportunity. These gestures are usually designed to virtue signal and rarely have any significance in terms of political change, however, leftists don’t necessarily pass laws or make declarations because a problem actually exists. Rather, they do these things in order to encourage false perceptions within the populace.
In other words, equality has been a legal fact within the US for decades, but leftists want people to believe racism is a never-ending battle that requires their perpetual activism and government intervention. The more they demand “equity”, the more division and conflict they end up inciting.
Democrat Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro insists that racism is an ongoing problem in his state and he has taken bold action to fight back by passing the “CROWN Act”, a law which prohibits discrimination based on a person’s hairstyle, type or texture.

In the past five years the institutional discussions surrounding climate change have shifted noticeably from “net zero” goals (zero net carbon emissions from target countries) to a more mercenary debate over carbon taxation. The question on everyone’s mind is this: Who gets the most access to those delicious climate funds?
Who gets access to the cash is less important than who gets to manage the cash, but we’ll get to that issue in a moment.
The recent COP30 event held last week in Brazil was largely focused on wealth redistribution with a lesser emphasis on carbon reductions. Climate “financing” is the name of the game, and COP30 was largely a squabble over which countries will get the most access to the various carbon taxes and donations collected by global intermediaries. In fact, the conference was largely considered a failure.

Leftist Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota should be investigating the claims of a sprawling welfare-fraud network tied to the state’s Somali community – schemes that reportedly funneled taxpayer dollars overseas, including at least one terrorist group. Instead, her office’s social media team attempted, one day before Thanksgiving, to launch a propaganda campaign on affordability on X that backfired spectacularly, culminating in a humiliating Community Note that exposed her sheer cluelessness.
Klobuchar’s X post attempted to blame the entire power bill crisis on President Trump, with a graphic showing a parabolic line rising to the right that would alarm anyone.

This year there have been more news articles than ever about “how to survive Thanksgiving”. If you have not noticed this, I will provide some examples for you in this article. Personally, the idea that Thanksgiving is an ordeal that must be endured is deeply offensive to me. If eating a feast while surrounded by people that love you is too much of a burden, please stay home. Thanksgiving is a day when we our not supposed to be focused on ourselves. Instead, it is a day when we are supposed to give thanks. In fact, according to the original Thanksgiving declaration that George Washington issued in 1789, there is someone in particular that we are supposed to give thanks to on this day. But in our “me-centered” society, that has been completely forgotten.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., has called for a ban on all Islamic immigrants and the deportation of any Islamist currently living in the U.S. following Wednesday’s attack on two National Guard members in Washington, D.C.
The Guard members, identified as 20-year-old Sara Beckstrom and 24-year-old Andrew Wolf, were shot multiple times while on duty near the Farragut West Metro station. Fellow Guard members quickly subdued the attacker, preventing additional casualties.
Beckstrom and Wolf are currently in critical condition.
The problem is evidentiary—how do you distinguish an ‘Islamist” from an ordinary Muslim?
I would argue that you can’t. Every Muslim, however peaceful in appearance and behavior, can turn into an ‘Islamist’ without any warning, because that is what their religion calls on them to do. Islam is by its nature an existential threat to every non-Muslim nation and culture; attempted accommodation will only delay, not prevent, the eventual clash.
Remember: Every ‘good Nazi’ was still a Nazi; every ‘good Communist’ is still a Communist; and every ‘good Muslim’ is still a Muslim.

The United Kingdom may implement sweeping changes that would sharply curb the right to a jury trial in England and Wales, according to an internal Ministry of Justice briefing obtained by BBC News.
Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy, who is also secretary of state for the Ministry of Justice, is preparing a proposal that would guarantee jury trials only for defendants charged with rape, murder, manslaughter, or cases that meet a public interest threshold.
Most other serious offenses now handled in Crown Court would shift to a new tier of nonjury courts, a move the government says is aimed at easing record case backlogs.

Students attending American public schools are struggling. Test scores from the 2024 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), released this year, indicate that 33% of 8th graders—a greater percentage than ever before—are reading at the “below basic” level.
Additionally, only 22% of high school seniors are proficient or above in math, down from 24% in 2019, and only 35% are proficient in reading—the lowest score since NAEP began in 1969—down from 37% in 2019. Also, a record-high percentage scored at “below basic” levels in both math and reading compared to all previous assessments.
Parents across the country, especially in big cities, have become aware of the problem and are removing their children.
How long before the only kids in public schools are Underclass who can’t afford to do anything else?
How long before legislation is introduced to make public school graduates get admitted to high school/college despite being unqualified because ‘discrimination’?

People these days barely want to speak about the subject, because it is still somewhat divisive but mainly because it is deeply painful. It was this way following the Great War, a trauma on a similar scale. Most people just wanted it to go away, and to put it all in the rearview mirror.
That said, when people do open up about what happened, they share shocking stories of personal tragedy and loss. Only this past week, a man told me about his dream business he had started 10 years ago and then built into a growing wholesale machine with 200-plus employees and bright prospects ahead. With the lockdowns, all orders for his project stopped. The company collapsed in two weeks. All employees lost their jobs and he and his wife lost their dreams. They divorced soon after.
Today his idea and a version of his project is in most major stories, as manufactured by huge corporate enterprises. He changed professions and is still digging out from a financial hole.
It’s just one story but something replicated in some form millions of times over. Kids who experienced this will never forget it, and parents have few choices but to describe the whole thing as a time when adults lost their minds.
Remember that all of this happened not just in the United States but in 194 countries around the world. The policies were strikingly similar everywhere. It was a time in which human interaction was described as disease spreading and therefore to be avoided in the interest of “slowing the spread.”

A young woman is fighting for her life in Chicago with severe burns because of a grave injustice intolerably common in cities across America.
Bethany MaGee, a 26-year-old woman from Upland, Indiana, is fighting for her life with horrific burns she received while riding Chicago’s CTA Blue Line train on Nov. 17. Her story is incredibly similar to several other incidents as of late that have grabbed national headlines.
Lawrence Reed, a 50-year-old man with an astoundingly long criminal record, allegedly doused MaGee with gasoline, chased her through the train, and lit her on fire. He reportedly yelled out, “Burn alive b—.”
The incident was remarkably similar to one that took place on the New York subway a year ago. In that case the alleged assailant was an illegal alien.
Just like in the recent case of the murder of Iryna Zarutska, a woman who was stabbed to death on a Charlotte train, the suspected Chicago arsonist has a rap sheet almost hard to believe.

party that has surged from obscurity to become one of the most consequential forces in the region. A party that only recently entered parliament with two seats is now projected, according to the Catalan government’s Centre for Opinion Studies (CEO), to win 19 to 20 seats—putting it level with one of the region’s traditional pro-independence heavyweights.
For years, Catalan politics has revolved around a familiar trio. The PSC is the centre-left party aligned with Spain’s central government. ERC is a left-leaning separatist party. And Junts is a liberal-nationalist separatist party once led by Carles Puigdemont, the chief political figure of the 2017 independence crisis. It is Junts—formerly the standard-bearer of Catalonia’s independence cause—that is now suffering a dramatic collapse, falling from 35 seats to roughly the same level as Aliança. ERC would stay slightly ahead on 22 to 23, while the PSC would still win the election but shows clear signs of voter weariness.

Victor Davis Hanson.
I’d like to talk about insurrection chic. By that I mean this phenomenon of the Democrats in particular, and maybe the Left in general, it’s talking about ways of undermining the jurisdiction of our own federal government.
I don’t know what their model is. Is it Jefferson Davis, who ordered South Carolina State Troops to fire on the federal fort at Fort Sumter in 1861 that ushered in the Civil War? Or maybe it’s George Wallace, huh? Standing in the doorstep of the University of Alabama, saying, “We’re not going to, here in Alabama, obey state law on segregation and racial discrimination.”
Or maybe, did you ever see the movie “Seven Days in May” (1964) about an officer, General Scott? I think he was played by Burt Lancaster. And he said, basically, we’re going to nullify the presidential directives and not abide by a treaty of the federal government—try to, essentially, overthrow the government.
