India has spent decades building fences, topping them with barbed wire, and installing lights. The lights are there so that the guards can see. Unlike America, there are guards, they have guns, and they shoot.

Two culture-enrichers got into an argument on the street in Stuttgart today, and one of them killed the other with a sword. In broad daylight, mind you, recorded by witnesses’ cell phones.
The perpetrator and the victim are rumored to be Kazakhs.

ZMan introduces a little biological reality.
The nature of all human society is that there is an elite that sits atop the society, providing both order and structure to the whole. Because the apple does not fall far from the tree, elites tend to be inherited. The sons and daughters of the ruling class make up the next generation’s ruling class. In Guatemala, for example, a small number of families have controlled the country since the 16th century. Despite what the science deniers will tell you, biology is a real thing and it matters.
The recent college admissions scandal points up the fact that people will lie, cheat, steal, and sometimes go to jail to make sure that their progeny get every advantage, ‘earned’ or not. People will jaw on all day about ‘merit’, without admitting that ‘merit’ sometimes includes things over which the individual has no control. like skin color. Skin color has always been a factor in getting admitted to elite colleges, for example, except that around 1970 the preference switched from white to non-white — but being a famous person’s kid has always been the golden ticket. Chelsea Clinton is the current poster child for this phenomenon.
That’s what you see happening with the Democrat Party. They want to be a coalition that is white presenting at the top, with maybe some token color, and the new coalition of the ascendant at the bottom. The trouble is, they seem to lack the willpower and ruthlessness to do it. They just purged leadership staff because they are too white. The tribes of the coalition don’t know their place and the only way they can know their place is if the ruling elite puts them in their place.
One commenter on Steve Sailer’s site pointed out that the group picture of the last Democrat debate looked like an elderly affluent couple (Bernie and Fauxcohontas) and their eight grown children (including the token gay boy Mayor Pete). You’ll notice that the DemLegHump Media’s favorite ‘people of color’ are mulattos like Don Lemon, Trevor Noah, and Barack Obama, people who have as many white ancestors as black.

Paul Mirengoff from Power Line does a recap.
The debate that was turned out to be Sanders-Warren versus three less extreme candidates — no-hopers all — who attacked from the right. John Delaney was the most effective of the trio, but John Hickenlooper and Tim Ryan had their moments.
…
Since Warren and Sanders didn’t clash, there was no clear winner between the two. However, I give the nod to Warren because she came across as less weird than Sanders. If I were a left-wing Democrat, I’d be less uncomfortable with Warren as the standard-bearer than with Bernie. But I’m not, so what do I know?

The article starts off with the question “Does the craft beer industry have a diversity problem?”, just as if the answer hadn’t been contained in the headline. That’s ‘journalism’ for you.
I must confess that I wasn’t aware that ‘craft beer’ was an ‘industry’. Of course, when it comes to a Voice of the Crust, every ‘industry’ has a ‘diversity problem’ (except maybe the Bash Trump industry).
Steve Sailer remarks:
It’s almost as if white people, despite their innate lack of diversity, are more interested in diverse things, like local craft beers, while The Diverse tend to prefer homogeneous mass market beers.

Is a higher federal minimum wage a workable idea? Let’s remember that Sanders was forced to eat a generous portion of humble pie when the public found out he was paying his own campaign staff the equivalent of $13 hourly. He raised their wage to $15 by cutting employee hours. Reality crashed in on yet another utopian plan.

John Hinderaker at Power Line deals with a popular proglodyte trick.
One of the left’s favorite tricks is to assert that a conservative has said something “without evidence.” The formula has become ritual, but usually it just means that the liberal employing it has no idea whether the conservative’s statement is correct, and is too lazy to try to find out.
By contrast, count up how many ‘journalists’ assert that Trump has committed ‘impeachable offenses’ without evidence.

Regional experts had immediately suspected the possibility of an Israeli air raid after a pro-Iranian militia arms depot in Iraq was obliterated during a mysterious attack on July 19, and another reported follow-up attack this past Sunday.
The attack happened around 80 km from the Iranian border and 40 km north-east of Baghdad at Camp Ashraf, former home to the Iranian exile group Mojahedin-e Khalq, but now reportedly in the hands of Iranian intelligence and paramilitaries.
Sounds as if the Israelis are losing patience.

Much like his administration’s policies….
Building the Obama center at the currently desired location “will have an adverse effect to Jackson Park Historic Landscape District and Midway Plaisance because it will alter, directly or indirectly, characteristics of the historic property that qualify it for inclusion in the National Register,” the report stated. “Primary physical changes that are concentrated in the western perimeter of Jackson Park and the eastern Midway Plaisance impact adjacent park areas including the Lagoons, Fields, and Lake Shore. The changes alter the legibility of the design of the cultural landscape in ways that diminish the overall integrity of spatial organization in the property as a whole.”
I don’t know what that means in English. Presumably it’s not good.

I don’t know who first made the point that the demand for racism today exceeds the supply, which is why we see things like the Jussie Smollette hoax and countless other campus racism hoaxes. And now Trump has the left’s Default Dog Whistle Racism Detector turned up to 11 with his attacks on cities and districts run chiefly by African-American and Democratic Party machines, because for the left criticism of any non-white politician is off limits.
I have a simple theory: Trump knows what he’s doing. This is the political equivalent of “Crazy Eddie,” the frenetic TV ad pitchman constantly hawking his “insane” sales on electronic goods. In Trump’s case, he’s forcing the left to max out its race card, such that the left’s bankruptcy after Trump’s re-election next year will be epic.
Steve Hayward finally gets it.

According to the newspaper’s investigation, “the IAF F-35 “Adir” planes penetrated Iran’s airspace, circled high above Tehran, Karajrak, Isfahan, Shiraz and Bandar Abbas – and photographed Iran’s air defense system.”
One of the sources reported that Iran’s air defense system, including its Russian radar, did not detect the entry and exit of the fighter planes, and that Ismaili hid this information from the supreme leader to cover his service failure. However Iranian intelligence discovered that the Israeli fighter jets had carried out this sortie as a test of the possibility of an undetected attack on Iranian outposts and bases, during which they photographed those sensitive bases, evading the Russian S-300 missile system’s radar.
