If she’s the fourth-ranked graduate from BU’s College of Arts and Sciences, I’d hate to see who came out on the bottom. If BU has any self-awareness at all, they ought to be asking themselves “What went wrong?”

When Lyndon Johnson and Richard Daley stole the Presidential election for John F. Kennedy in 1960, Richard Nixon was advised to challenge it in the courts; he refused. When Florida was certified for George W. Bush in 2000, the first stop Al Gore made was the courts. Donald Trump’s win in the Presidential election of 2016 may not have been technically a landslide, but it was far from close; nevertheless, the people who Just Can’t Believe That Dick Won have been doing their best ever since to overturn the result. (Democrats turn out to be Not Very Democratic. Ask Bernie Sanders.)

The essential characteristic of ‘social justice’ is that it isn’t justice, it’s a perversion of outcomes to favor a particular political side that is called ‘justice’ because distorting the language (a) makes them feel good about themselves and (b) is a well-polished tool in their political playbook. Giving special privileges to black people just because of their skin color isn’t justice, it’s racism straight up. Refusing to enforce the law against illegal immigrants isn’t justice. Forcing people to do things contrary to their religious beliefs to serve a political agenda isn’t justice. Every political machine in every big city that had one (and has one) was and is run by Democrats — just look at Chicago, Detroit, and New York.

Look for the riots and civil disturbances in America today (Hell, since forever) and they’re caused by Democrats. There is no civil disturbance in this country that doesn’t have Democrats behind it. Everybody knows this but nobody dares to say it because the mob will come for them. Potential mob violence is such a cornerstone of Democrat ideology that elected Democrat officials, like Maxine Waters, can sound the call in public and suffer no serious consequences.

The Democrats are the poster child for the classic Special Interest. The Democrat ‘base’ is full of special interest groups who don’t care if the rest of the nation is screwed just so they benefit. Black people. Sexual perverts. Enviro-Nazis. ‘Animal rights’ activists. ‘Renewable energy’ lobbyists. Trial lawyers. Union officials. Government employees. This that and whatever kind of  ‘activists’. You name it, and if they want to fuck everybody else for their own benefit, they’ll find a home in the Democrat party.

The core belief of the Democrat party is ‘force everybody to do it our way’. Every policy promoted or piece of legislation introduced by a Democrat is designed to reduce individual liberty. No, you can’t refuse to sell particular products or to particular people; you have to sell what we tell you to sell to the people we tell you to. No, you can’t charge what you want to rent that apartment; you have to charge what we tell you to charge. No, you can’t start a business without jumping through the hoops we require and paying us for the privilege. No, you can’t keep the money you earn, you can only keep what we allow you to, and you’d by-God better thank us for the privilege.

Democrats fail to act according to the Constitution in almost every respect. They are, at their core, as part of their essential nature, un-American.

San Francisco residents seem to be divided into four broad classes, or perhaps even castes:

• Lastly, there’s the Untouchable class of the homeless, drug addicted, and/or criminal. These people live at the ever-growing margins: the tent cities and areas of hopeless urban blight. The Inner Party doesn’t even see them, the Outer Party ignores them, and the Service Class eyes them warily; after all, they could end up there.

This is the society that the Democrats are striving to achieve. California is a harbinger of our future, if we let it.

It’s obvious that no one ever previously asked Ocasio-Cortez a serious question about economics. She was not educated, but indoctrinated, in far-left ideas at Boston University. Her assertion that “the people who create value in society are not experiencing any portion of the value that they are creating” is straight-out Marxism, and is as false now as it was when Marx published Das Kapital. Even the poorest members of a free society benefit from the wealth and technological advances created by a capitalist economy, and socialism (“democratic” or otherwise) is not “progress.” Ocasio-Cortez here is invoking two Marxist myths — capitalism as a system of “exploiting” workers, and the idea of history as progressing in stages toward communist revolution.

This Marxist notion that history is moving inexorably in one direction (and that direction leads to socialism) is the essence of the ‘progressive’ ideology (hence the name). The fact that socialism, once ‘attained’, leads to poverty and social disintegration never seems to make in onto their radar.
