(Would it be cynical to suggest that it’s the ‘artificial intelligence experts’ who haven’t made such a promise that we have to worry about? ‘Why, what artificial intelligence experts are those?’ ‘Uh, the ones who think it would be cool or profitable to build autonomous machines that can kill everyone. Those guys.’)
