The bad news keeps coming for the Democratic Party. The New York Times reported Wednesday that the party “faces a voter registration crisis.” Among the 30 states and Washington, D.C., that register voters by party, Democrats dropped 2.1 million registered voters between 2020 and 2024. Republicans added 2.4 million.
Nevada contributed its share to that 4.5 million voter swing. In January 2020, Nevada Democrats had an 83,000-voter lead in registration. Earlier this year, Nevada Republicans briefly obtained a voter registration edge, although Democrats currently have a small lead.
“In Nevada, which releases particularly detailed data, Republicans added nearly twice as many voters under 35 to the rolls as Democrats did last year, state records show,” the Times reported.
These shifting political realities have led to months of introspection among Democrat power brokers. One of their conclusions is that liberals have neglected men, who are struggling badly. That is obviously true. Young men are increasingly disconnected, lonely, and more likely to engage in a variety of destructive behaviors.
Even if their motives are transparently political, things are so bad that even some liberals now want to help men.
Put women in camps. How will we get them there, you as? Not hard to tell: Put a big sign in from that says “SPA” and they’ll pay to get in.

n a case reminiscent of the underground prison break of Sinaloa cartel boss “El Chapo” Guzmán, a high-profile Chinese national code-named Chino — who prosecutors say trained Hispanic drug traffickers to operate on U.S. soil, and who has been described as one of the main suppliers of fentanyl and a financial architect for both the Sinaloa and Jalisco Nueva Generación cartels — has suspiciously escaped Mexican custody through a hole in a wall while under house arrest. According to President Claudia Sheinbaum, he had been on the verge of extradition to the United States.
Indictment documents identify him as Zhi Dong Zhang, born in Beijing in 1987, and describe “Chino” as approximately five feet seven inches tall, weighing 175 pounds. He bridged the Chinese and Mexican wings of cartel fentanyl networks — and, significantly, is alleged to have served as a rare operative between Mexico’s two largest rival trafficking groups, the Sinaloa and Jalisco Nueva Generación cartels.

I’m not being hyperbolic. Everywhere you go, everything you do, every service you pay for—it feels like customer service simply no longer exists. And even worse, most places you go actually make you feel like an asshole for daring to be a customer in the first place. I catch myself constantly asking, “Why am I putting up with this shit?” right before looking down at the Cheez-Doodles or baseball cap I’ve somehow convinced myself I can’t live without.
Because here’s the ugly truth: service is dead. The only thing still alive is the endless, humiliating upsell and self-service. The drugstore, the bank, the dentist—it doesn’t matter. On a given day I interact with supposedly “best-in-class” businesses, and nearly every time I walk away feeling bent over a barrel. And this is when I’m choosing the premium option. The premium experience is still garbage.
Which is why, when I think about the future, I don’t see the next big opportunity as another buzzy app or sleek new product. It’s customer service. Full stop. Any company, in any industry, that actually treats its customers like human beings will have me throwing money at their doorstep. Charge me a premium, I don’t care. Just don’t interrogate me for my phone number every time I buy a bar of soap. Don’t act like handing you a credit card is some bizarre ritual you’ve never seen before. Pretend, at the very least, that you want my business.

This week, Axios ran a fascinating piece about the supposed “redefinition” of Americanism under President Donald Trump. Titled “Inside Trump’s American identity project,” Axios posited that “President Trump is wielding government power to enforce a more rigid, exclusionary definition of what it means to be American.” What would this new definition entail? “In MAGA’s telling, America is the heir to ancient European civilizations, built on a Judeo-Christian foundation of white identity, meritocracy, traditional gender roles and the nuclear family,” says Axios. “These tenets are cast as universal truths — and mantras such as ‘America is an idea’ or ‘diversity is our strength’ are dismissed as liberal fictions.”
First off, America is heir to ancient European civilizations — particularly with reference to private property, the common law system, traditions of free speech and freedom of religion, among others. Second, America is built on a Judeo-Christian foundation. Third, America is built on the meritocracy, which argues that the best and most productive ought to succeed in a free system. America is built on traditional gender roles and the nuclear family, as is every successful society in history. While America is an idea — or a set of ideas — those ideas must be reified in institutions and human behavior. And the notion that any nation can be built on a completely specious phrase like “diversity is our strength” is counterintuitive at best.
So, what is Axios attempting to do? Axios is attempting to link actual traditional definitions of Americanism with white supremacy. Never mind that all the ideas Axios cites as “traditional” fundamentally reject ethnic identitarianism: equality before law, for example, presumes racial indifference; Judeo-Christian religion rejects racial classification; the meritocracy is definitionally opposed to racial preferences; and traditional gender roles and the nuclear family are institutions held in common by people of all races. The goal is simple: a forced choice between “racism” and a left-wing definition of Americanism that bears zero weight.
Wokeness pretty much boils down to “White people bad, males bad, white males especially bad and responsible for all that’s wrong in the world.” They depend on white people hating themselves for this trick to work, and it’s getting to the point that white people are fed up.

Wealthy Cape Cod residents are scrambling over proposals for a ‘Taylor Swift tax’-style duty on their pearly coastal mansions.
The measure is designed to help locals who say the housing market in the millionaire’s playground, where homes have an average value of $755,000, is pushing them out.
The proposal is looking to tack on a two percent surcharge on luxury homes that sell for more than $2million, which would generate up to $56million a year.
The millions earned by the Massachusetts peninsula would be used for affordable housing.
Taxachusetts lives up to its name. Time to leave.

Baltimore has become ground zero for many failures of the Democratic Party. The so-called progressive utopia pitched by Democrats over the years has proven to be a massive lie, leaving behind a crime-ridden, deindustrialized city plagued by drugs, murder, and a collapsing population now at 100-year lows.
The latest failure to emerge from Baltimore, however, isn’t tied to the failed social-justice agenda of leftists in City Hall. In fact, cracks are quickly forming in the residential real estate market.
Bloomberg reports that Baltimore is emerging as the first major crack in the hard-money lender residential real estate market bubble. This was fueled by years of overinflated appraisals, overextended loans, and now lenders slamming on the brakes.
Unlike traditional mortgages, private mortgage lenders are non-bank companies or investors that provide real estate loans, often outside of the traditional mortgage system (think big banks, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac). These companies are typically referred to as hard-money lenders because they lend based on the value or income potential of the property, rather than the borrower’s credit history.

Public health officials have a long way to go before they regain the public’s trust, and a regrettable Thursday segment on CNN’s The Source showed just how little some in the industry and in the media care. Amid some weak questioning from host Kaitlan Collins, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, who recently resigned as the CDC’s Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, trumpeted his use of the term “pregnant people” and his pronouns.
Collins teed up a clip from the day’s White House press briefing, “Dr. Daskalakis, you were specifically referenced today, during the White House press briefing. I’m not sure if you saw this, but I want—I want everyone to listen to what the press secretary had to say today.”
In the clip, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt declared, “One of those individuals wrote in his departure statement that he identifies pregnant women as pregnant people. So that’s not someone who we want in this administration, anyway.”
Collins then simply put the ball on the tee, “I want to give you the chance to respond to that.”
CNN, like all of the Wokerati, know that it is through redefining terms that the Left has successfully dominated discussions of public (and private) policy. Their objective is to eliminate ThoughtCrime, and the way you do that is by giving people no tool with which to express their divergence from the Narrative.

Dozens of people tried to swarm the Bell Hotel, which houses migrants, on Thursday evening as police formed a line to prevent them getting closer to the building.
Chants of “send them back” and “go home” could be heard, whilst flares were set off. One demonstrator told The Telegraph: “It’s all kicking off. We are so angry. We won’t stop.”
The hotel became the focus for anti-immigration protests after the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old schoolgirl by an Ethiopian asylum seeker living there.
At Epping St John’s, a primary school nearby, locals called for the migrants to be removed and the hotel to be closed to them.
Lindsey Thompson, 58, questioned how children will cope when local schools reopen next week.
She told The Telegraph: “We have no choice. This is children’s safety. It’s really scary. It’s a terrifying time.

As reported in the news feed over the last few days, the Swiss city of Lausanne has experienced several nights of riots, in which mischievous youngsters blocked the streets with burning containers and rubbish while throwing debris and shooting off fireworks at the police.
The sequence of events is similar to those we’ve become accustomed to in France over the past fifteen or twenty years: a “youth” was killed while fleeing from police, and his co-ethnics responded by rioting and burning stuff.
Early reports failed to mention the ethnicity of the unfortunate tyke. The only indication I could find was the visible melanin content of some of the boisterous rioters seen in photographs of the festivities.

The prime directive of Western medicine, its golden rule, is expressed by the Latin maxim primum non nocere – first, do no harm. Unfortunately, the Covid era taught us that from the patient’s point of view, a better motto for our times might be caveat emptor – let the buyer beware.
Every medical student is taught that, first and foremost, they should not cause harm to their patients, and every doctor is familiar with this maxim. It is echoed in the Hippocratic Oath, and it forms the basis for the four pillars of medical ethics: autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice.
This rule, and the core tenets of medical ethics that it underpins, were all abandoned during the Covid era. They were replaced with a brutal, inhumane, and unethical martial-law-as-public-health approach to medicine. The results were unconstitutional lockdowns, prolonged school closures, suppression of early treatment, mandated vaccinations, and silencing of dissenting views. These abuses were justified by constant propaganda and lies from public health authorities, the medical establishment, the mainstream media, and medical professional associations.

A transgender gunman who killed two children after opening fire during a Catholic school church service scrawled “Jew gas” and “for the children” on weapons used in the attack.
Robin Westman, formerly known as Robert, fired dozens of rounds of bullets through the stained glass windows of Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where children from the adjacent school were attending a start-of-term Mass.
Westman applied to change his name to Robin by deed poll in documents seen by The Telegraph. In the deed poll request, his parents justified the name change by saying Westman “identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification.”
The request was granted by Dakota County in January 2020.

A decade ago, the fifth revision of DSM (the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) was published by the American Psychiatric Association. This diagnostic system has been called the “Bible” of psychiatry. The metaphor suggests some cultural realities. It tends to be worshipped; some view it as the literal truth; it can inspire, but it can be used to suppress dissent. The problem is that DSM can’t be a Bible and science at the same time.
In this article, I examine what the DSM system is and what it isn’t. The brief summary is that it has become more like a religion, and less and less scientific. (Much of the source evidence for the details of the DSM-III history can be found in this book by Hannah Decker.)
Psychology is like economics, a shamanistic magic system masquerading as a science. All you need to know is how often either of them makes a prediction that comes true. A real science makes predictions that come true Every Single Time. Medical doctors, who also deal with chaotic complex badly-understood systems, at least don’t pretend that theirs is a science–it has scientific aspects, of course, but (again) it cannot make predictions that come true Every Single Time.

Hypocrisy was on full display on Wednesday’s Morning Joe as New York Times columnist David French joined the MSNBC show to discuss how Democrats should respond to President Trump on crime. Despite all the claims that Trump would be abusing his authority if he deployed the National Guard to blue cities, French, who, despite endorsing Kamala Harris, fancies himself as one of the few remaining principled conservatives left in America, advised Democrats to blame Trump for the 2020 crime crisis.
Co-host Willie Geist opened up the floor, “So, David French, the question is then for Democrats, and you can offer some free political advice, too, if you’d like to. What is the way through this? We have heard Governor Moore, Governor Pritzker, Governor Newsom saying, ‘We welcome partnership, we welcome more cops. We want people in our streets to feel safe, but we’re not doing it his way. We’re not going to have troops walking down the streets of Baltimore and Chicago and Los Angeles.’”

At 10:00 p.m. last night., approximately 150 to 200 people set up roadblocks and began burning containers and garbage cans. They also severely damaged a bus.
Officers were hit with Molotov cocktails, paving stones, and construction fences, along with other objects, according to police.
Police hit the rioters with tear gas and rubber bullets to control the unrest. No injuries were reported.

Maryland Man Abrego Garcia is reportedly headed to Uganda. His lawyers (he seems to have a bottomless supply of funds for attorneys’ fees and/or big firm pro bono access) persuaded a well-chosen federal judge to block the onset of the lifetime safari that ICE has booked for him. As I understand it, the grounds for the (statutorily groundless) block by a district court are that it would be ever so mean not to take the deportee’s feelings into account, and therefore he should get another chance to take the option to go to Costa Rica that he had previously rejected. A rather weak ruling. So, if the law matters, soon it will be Uganda for Maryland’s own.
The bumbling of the administration–let’s review: 1. The failure to simply go back to the silly 2019 bar against returning him to his home country, armed with the actual facts of the gang issue before an administrative judge to undo the block; 2. The initial screwup of flying him to El Salvador into custody there; and 3. The ham-fisted Tennessee prosecution so tenuous that the judge had to grant bail. This has all been matched by a judicial circus and by the utterly bizarre spectacle of elderly white people mobilized in support of alien criminals, cheering for a man who looks more like the poster boy for the Trump enforcement policy than an appealing victim.
I think Netflix should get involved ASAP. Maryland Man in Uganda could be a fantastic reality series. With his gang experience, Uganda could open major opportunities. That nation has the second-highest criminal activity rating in East Africa and the seventh overall out of 54 African nations. There is a horrifically large volume of human trafficking (Abrego has that on his resume), gang violence (check) and smuggling on grand scale.
But there is no dominant organized crime gang in Uganda, just lots of independent players. A sharp young man with existing contacts with an actual major criminal enterprise (and not just the Democratic Party, and connected big law firms) could be running the place in no time. Don Corleone was only 25 when he shot Fanucci and began his rise. Abrego is only 29. Apparently the entire Ugandan government is on the take, so a film crew documenting the rise of a rising major player in crime carries no risk of arrest and offers the prospect of potentially huge ratings.
And I dare you to argue that my suggestion of a Ugandan Netflix series is any more insane than is the existing Maryland man saga.

The COVID-19 pandemic didn’t just reshape how children learn and see the world. It transformed the shape of their eyeballs.
As real-life classrooms and playgrounds gave way to virtual meetings and digital devices, the time that children spent focusing on screens and other nearby objects surged — and the time they spent outdoors dropped precipitously. This shift led to a notable change in children’s anatomy: their eyeballs lengthened to better accommodate short-vision tasks.
Study after study, in regions ranging from Europe to Asia, documented this change. One analysis from Hong Kong even reported a near doubling in the incidence of pathologically stretched eyeballs among six-year-olds compared with pre-pandemic levels1.
This elongation improves the clarity of close-up images on the retina, the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. But it also makes far-away objects appear blurry, leading to a condition known as myopia, or short-sightedness. And although corrective eyewear can usually address the issue — allowing children to, for example, see a blackboard or read from a distance — severe myopia can lead to more-serious complications, such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, glaucoma and even permanent blindness.
Evolution doesn’t give us what we want. It gives us what we appear to need.

In the 2024 election for the U.S. House, 63% of ballots cast were for Democrats. But, because of the Democrats’ past gerrymandering, 8 of 9 House members–87.5%–are Democrats. “I just feel that I have a wonderful opportunity.”
Those words of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson came in a recent interview, wherein the justice explained how she felt liberated after becoming a member of the Supreme Court “to tell people in my opinions how I feel about the issues. And that’s what I try to do.”
Jackson’s sense of liberation has increasingly become the subject of consternation on the court itself, as she unloads on her colleagues in strikingly strident opinions.
Most recently, Jackson went ballistic after her colleagues reversed another district court judge who issued a sweeping injunction barring the Trump Administration from canceling roughly $783 million in grants in the National Institutes of Health.
Again writing alone, Jackson unleashed a tongue-lashing on her colleagues, who she suggested were unethical, unthinking cutouts for Trump. She denounced her fellow justices, stating, “This is Calvinball jurisprudence with a twist. Calvinball has only one rule: There are no fixed rules. We seem to have two: that one, and this administration always wins.”
For some of us who have followed Jackson’s interestingly controversial tenure on the court, it was crushingly ironic. Although Jackson accused her colleagues of following a new rule that they must always rule with Trump, she herself is widely viewed as the very embodiment of the actual rule of the made-up game based on the comic strip of Calvin and Hobbes. In Jacksonian jurisprudence, it often seems like there are no fixed rules, only fixed outcomes. She then attacks her colleagues for a lack of integrity or empathy.

But as I took in the rare calm, I did witness one ugly moment. A professionally dressed middle-aged woman took it upon herself to curse out a pair of young National Guardsmen patrolling the station, venting her fury at President Donald Trump’s crime crackdown.
The young men politely ignored her and went back to their duty. But the exchange said something important: The fury of Washington’s liberal class isn’t directed at the criminals who have terrorized this city for years. It’s reserved for those finally trying to stop them.

What has changed? Cracker Barrel is now “on a mission.” In 2012, they described their mission without saying the word and knew exactly what they were about. By 2025, they tell us they are on a mission, but they have lost most of what made them distinctive. It’s not providing a home-away-from-home anymore, but it is mission-oriented. They have added “craveable” to the description of their food, which sounds like they have embraced the food science that makes Twinkies and Hostess Cakes nutritionally empty but addictive.
They are no longer proud of their roots. America’s country heritage – GONE. Mentions of their best dishes, which probably sound a touch declasse to the investors that Cracker Barrel now wants – GONE. Now they serve all guests and make everyone feel welcome. The 2012 description used the word “country” six times, but the 2025 description only uses it twice, both times in the name of company. Nothing is described as “country” anymore.
They have even engaged in some M&A activity and acquired Maple Street Biscuit Co. in 2019 – they are no longer simple country folks from Lebanon, Tenn., but play in the New York markets too. And most of their description is aimed at letting investors know that they are maximizing profit. They no longer need to let the investors know what hours they are open because they don’t expect their investors to stop by anymore.
Cracker Barrel didn’t just lose its vision this week when they launched their new logo. Year by year, they have forgotten that they were inviting customers into their own home and feeding them home-style country food and giving them a chance to buy some fun memorabilia on the way in and out of the store. They started catering to their investors instead of their customers.
I must confess that I’ve never eaten in a Cracker Barrel restaurant, and it looks like I never will.
Pity. I like country food.

A South Florida lawmaker says it may be time to do away with homeowners associations altogether, as more Floridians speak out about rising fees, costly lawsuits, and even arrests tied to HOA disputes.
“You know, it might just be time we take a look if HOAs are really even necessary,” Porras said. “Maybe we should just do away with homeowner associations as a whole.”
The lawmaker, who has been working on HOA reform bills for the last two years, said he’s heard enough from frustrated homeowners to question whether the system still makes sense.
“In Miami-Dade County, where I live, it’s just a bunch of houses. The HOA doesn’t really maintain anything other than the grass in some areas,” Porras said. “And yet, you’re being charged $500, $600 plus a month. In reality, you don’t see a lot of that money going back to your community.”
Porras called HOAs a “failed experiment” that, after decades of abuse and mismanagement, “does more harm than good.”
Living with an HOA is the closest America can come to life in the old Soviet Union.

“Their ancestors made this country into a slave hell, but they can clean it up now. Cause they got the Smithsonian, they can get rid of all the slavery stuff. They got PragerU, they can lie about the history to the children. They can’t originally invent anything, more than they were ever able to invent good music,” former MSNBC anchor Joy Reid claimed.
White people did invent a few things. Like Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the microchip and the video technology that Joy Reid uses to complain about the worthlessness of white people.
But white people have also invented some pretty terrible things: like Joy Reid.
Have you ever noticed that black people, especially black women, spend a lot of their time trying to look like something other than black people? Beyoncé has spent most of her life trying to look white while getting credit for being black; Joy Reid dyes her hair blonde, which is I suppose the equivalent of a white chick dying her hair blue.

You’ve seen the video. Big-rig driver Harjinder Singh tries to make an illegal U-turn on a Florida Turnpike. The semi-truck jackknifed and blocked all lanes of traffic. Those in the minivan destroyed in the Aug. 12 crash never had a chance. The collision killed the driver and two passengers.
The question on everyone’s mind: How did Singh get a commercial driver’s license?
The Indian citizen reportedly crossed the U.S. border illegally in 2018. Nonetheless, he obtained driving credentials, and, thanks to the sanctuary state of California, not just a regular driver’s license. The Golden State issued the Stockton resident a limited-term/non-domiciled commercial driver’s license in 2024, even though his English comprehension, from what we know, was not up to the job.
When Singh appeared in a California court to face extradition on three charges of vehicular manslaughter, the court appointed a translator for him.
When federal investigators interviewed Singh after the fatal crash near an “Official Use Only” sign at a turnpike cut-through, he failed an English Language Proficiency test, according to U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy. Singh gave a mere two correct responses to 12 verbal questions and accurately identified only one of four traffic signs, according to Duffy.

Losing between 50 to 100 hairs per day is normal, but shedding beyond that can be concerning and stressful. If you’ve tried serums, vitamins and topical solutions but nothing has helped, you’re not alone. Even Gen Z Reddit users have the same concern, wondering what might be contributing to it and how to get rid of hair loss.
How about a prescription gummy for hair loss? Hers, a telehealth company that provides online health care services and products for women, announced the launch of its Biotin-plus-Minoxidil Gummy, the first-of-its-kind prescription gummy formulated to support hair regrowth. Available through forhers.com, this gummy combines prescription-strength minoxidil, the only FDA-approved ingredient for female hair loss, with biotin, a popular vitamin for supporting healthy skin, hair and nails. Minoxidil is clinically proven to regrow thicker, fuller hair in three to six months (based on studies of oral minoxidil up to 2.5 mg per day at various doses).

Until a few weeks ago, you were more likely to see a Palestinian, Ukrainian, or LGBT pride flag flying in London than to see any of the UK’s own colours. Now, thanks to a grassroots movement called Operation Raise the Colours, that could be changing.
Union Jacks and St. George’s flags have been cropping up across the country over the last few weeks, being hung on lampposts by groups of patriots. The movement appears to have begun in Birmingham, organised online, before spreading to Norwich, Bradford, Newcastle, Swindon, and even London.
As you might expect, the flags are being swiftly removed by local councils. Birmingham’s Labour-run city council started pulling them down last week, citing health-and-safety concerns. The flags, fixed to lampposts 25 ft in the air, apparently put the lives of motorists and pedestrians “at risk.” This might have been a believable, if idiotic, excuse had the same council not allowed Palestinian flags to fly across the city—which is almost 30% Muslim—unhindered since October 7th, 2023. This is also the same council that, just last week, lit the city’s library up in green and white to celebrate Pakistan’s independence day. Birmingham City Council officials were even caught admitting in leaked emails earlier this year that they were too scared to take down the Palestinian flags without police assistance.
This week, the flashpoint for the flag wars was the East London borough of Tower Hamlets. The local authority, run by the pro-Gaza Aspire Party, has promised to remove any Union Jacks or St. George’s Crosses from council infrastructure “as soon as possible.” Tower Hamlets and its mayor, Lutfur Rahman, are certainly in more of a hurry to remove flags representing this country than they were to take down the many Palestine flags that lined the streets for months following October 7th. The council only (somewhat begrudgingly, it feels) removed these after Jewish residents complained the flags made them feel unsafe.
The Borough of Tower Hamlets is the Mecca of Londonistan. I expect them to make the official language there Urdu any day now.

The Bavarian city of Schweinfurt has disclosed new figures showing that only 28% of children starting first grade this year come from native German families. The numbers became public after an inquiry by AfD city councillor Richard Graupner.
According to the city hall, about 500 children have enrolled in first grade for the 2025/26 school year. Of these, 289—around 58%—were required to take a mandatory pre-course in German before entering school. Another 58 pupils, or about 12%, are repeating the course after their enrollment was postponed due to insufficient language skills.
The share of children without a migration background varies sharply between schools. At the Gartenstadt School, it is just 14%, at the Kerschensteiner School 17%, and at the Albert-Schweitzer School 18%. The Paul-Maar School and the Schillerschule each have 30%, the Körner School 26%, and the Dr.-Pfeiffer School 40%. In several schools, children with a migration background make up more than 80% of the student body. The only exception is the Friedrich-Rückert School, where a slim majority—52%—do not have a migration background.
Children identified with language deficits are required to attend a compulsory pre-course consisting of 240 lessons spread over roughly a year and a half. The program is run jointly by kindergarten specialists and primary school teachers. School entry can be deferred if the deficits persist.

A new analysis of voter registration data has sparked warning signs among Democratic Party leaders. This is because the party of leftist radicals has effectively alienated working-class voters, pushing all things woke, embracing socialism (with a sprinkle of Marxism), calling for the collapse of capitalism, defending criminal illegal aliens, and the list goes on and on. Working-class Americans are beginning to see that the party of leftist radicals has become nothing more than a puppet for elite progressive donors and dark-money-funded NGOs advancing anti-American values.
“The Democratic Party is hemorrhaging voters long before they even go to the polls,” according to a new report from The New York Times.
Voter registration data from 2020-24 shows broad-based erosion across all 30 states that track party affiliation. Democrats lost a net 4.5 million voters, in what the NYT calls a “deep political hole that could take years to climb out of.”

The European Union is funded by contributions from its member states. At least, that’s what the founding treaties say. In practice, however, the EU has long been taking other paths.
At the core of Europe’s financial architecture lies a clear separation of responsibility and liability: Article 125 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), the so-called “No-Bailout Clause.” It states, unequivocally, that neither the Union nor individual member states may assume the debts of other states. The purpose of this provision is to prevent free-rider effects (moral hazard) at the expense of other member states: each state is responsible for its own obligations.
Still, the clause does not exclude political support, as long as it does not mean assuming the existing debts of other states. A notable example of this practice were the bailout programs for Greece during the sovereign debt crisis one and a half decades ago.

A truck driver involved in a crash that killed three people while attempting a U-turn in Florida was in the country illegally, authorities said.
Harjinder Singh has been charged with vehicular homicide and immigration violations, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles said. Singh entered the country illegally from Mexico in 2018, according to authorities.
Singh was driving north on the Florida Turnpike in St. Lucie in a 2024 International tractor-trailer when he attempted a reckless U-turn without regard for the safety of others, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

While the green pseudo-economy drags the broader economy into the basement, two-thirds of Germans say they are satisfied with renewable energy or even want to see it expanded more rapidly. Meanwhile, the construction of a European war economy marks the next stage in Europe’s ongoing impoverishment.
The most popular yet most destructive economic strategy remains the modern interpretation of Keynesianism. With his oversimplified view of economic activity, the British economist John Maynard Keynes inadvertently handed postwar politicians a toolkit that they later perverted into an all-purpose “solution” for every economic crisis. The condensed version reads as follows: nearly every recession stems from a demand shortfall by consumers. The state’s job, therefore, is to create artificial credit to fill this demand gap.

A retired British Army Colonel is warning that he believes a civil war in the country is now inevitable because politicians are unwilling to take meaningful actions to fix societal collapse.
Colonel Richard Kemp, who has served on the Joint Intelligence Committee and the Cabinet Office crisis centre COBRA, urges that an alliance “of the hard left and Islamist extremists” will clash with broadly conservative British people and that it will lead to widespread prolonged unrest.
Kemp suggests that “together with other causes,” these Islamist leftists will “come together to threaten the cohesion and the culture, the entire culture and political existence of the West.”

The Times (UK).
As dusk approaches in Bournemouth, nine men and one woman are gathered in a town centre car park. All are dressed in black, wearing dark blue tabards with the words “Safeguard Force”. They are about to set off on their evening patrol in an area where, the group says, “our streets are not safe” and “our women walk in fear”. Tonight’s volunteers are a mixed bunch, but there’s a preponderance of tattoos, powerful frames and bulging muscles.
“We don’t like the word ‘vigilantes’, don’t like it at all,” says Gary Bartlett, the group’s founder. It’s a word some in the town are using to describe the group, but others appear to be welcoming them with open arms. There is, many believe, something rotten at the heart of Bournemouth, and the hope is that Bartlett and his friends can help to fix it.
Safeguard Force calls itself “a voluntary community service set up to protect the most vulnerable”. Semi-uniformed, unofficial, unregulated, they say their aim is to deter crime and assist an overstretched police service on streets that have become lawless. Launched earlier this month, they patrol the town centre every evening from 7.30pm: they have plans to extend their hours, and to roll out the idea nationwide.
When the government neglects it’s first duty, to keep order and protect the people, then said people will have to do it themselves. This ought not to come as a surprise to anybody.

Anti-racism campaigners have chanted at demonstrators protesting against “uncontrolled illegal immigration” outside a hotel used to house asylum seekers in Falkirk.
Stand Up to Racism Scotland, Falkirk Trades Union Council and residents said they organised the demonstration on Saturday to show that refugees are welcome in the town.
The gathering was arranged after the group Save Our Future & Our Kids Futures announced plans to hold a protest outside the hotel known as the Cladhan.
In a social media post the group said it is “standing against uncontrolled illegal immigration, with people being placed in our communities without transparency, accountability, or consultation”.
