Labour Delays China Super-Embassy Decision Again Amid Spy Case Row

The Government is likely to further delay its decision on whether to approve the planned Chinese super-embassy in London, amid intense scrutiny of its attempts to foster ties with Beijing.
The Telegraph understands officials in the Communities Department, which is handling the planning case, are preparing to announce the Oct 21 deadline, now just 11 days away, will be pushed back.
China has been seeking to build a vast new embassy near the Tower of London since 2018, but the decision has repeatedly been delayed.
