The widened scope and quickened pace of the Islamic State’s military operations in the Sahel region — just below North Africa, roughly from Senegal to Sudan — threatens to alter the strategic orientation of the African continent. Efforts at countering terrorist operations in the Sahel, such as they were, have evidently failed. As all roads to Mali’s capital of Bamoko are now blocked, that country might be the first state to “go under.”

On April 25, during a coordinated attack on several Malian cities, Muslim terrorists killed the country’s Minister of Defense. The terrorists then drove the Malian Army and its allied Russian mercenaries out of the country’s north.

The military juntas ruling Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger have proven themselves as ineffective at combatting Islamic terrorist operations as the democracies that they overthrew. The increasing terrorist assaults across the Sahel and the jihadists’s determined efforts to take over Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger have eroded the sovereignty of these states.

Sweden’s parliament has approved a new law banning marriages between cousins and other close relatives, with the measure set to take effect on July 1, 2026.

The reform, passed by the Swedish Riksdag on Tuesday, will also mean that such marriages conducted abroad will generally no longer be recognised in Sweden.

The legislation was introduced by the government following an investigation into consanguineous marriages and their links to forced marriage, family pressure, and so-called “honour”-related violence. The initiative was backed by the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats party.

Israel claims to have killed Mohammed Odeh—commander of Hamas’s military wing—in an airstrike on Tuesday, May 26th.

The Shin Bet security service identified the target as a hideout used by the recently promoted Odeh, resulting in an attack—in which at least three Palestinians were killed—on the residential al-Kayali building, hitting the upper three floors of the structure.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet in a joint statement:

As part of the joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet to eliminate the terrorist Mohammed Odeh, several buildings in the heart of Gaza City that served as a hideout for him were attacked, after months of intelligence surveillance in order to track his movements and the movements of his assistants in the organisation.

Israel also released an intensive strike wave across eastern and southern Lebanon on Tuesday, reportedly killing dozens of people. This follows Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu vowing to “crush” the Iranian proxy terror group Hezbollah.

Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a message on May 26 calling for greater unity across the Muslim world against the United States and Israel, saying that the chants “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” will become the rallying slogans of Muslims and “the oppressed of the world.”

This was a field trip for a group of children aged six to eight in the Beaver Scouts, part of the Scout Movement in the United Kingdom. While screenshots of the photo have been modified, the clip appears to be authentic; even local Islamic Facebook groups do not deny it happened.

The Scout leader took them for an educational visit to the Central Scotland Islamic Centre in Stirling, Scotland, a Muslim mosque founded in 1982. Muslims are compelled to pray five times a day toward their holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, bowing to show submission (the meaning of the words “Islam” and “Muslim”) to their god Allah.

In order to earn their “Faith Activity Badge,” the young Scouts were then encouraged to follow this religious observance in prostrating themselves before the Muslim god.

The arrest of a 22-year-old man in Italy suggests Europe’s terror threat extends well beyond that posed by Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Police in Reggio Emilia and Bologna on Monday arrested an Italian man of Moroccan origins, who judicial sources told reporters is accused of recruiting for the purpose of terrorism, including international terrorism.

Investigators discovered that the man had alleged motives to attack people with a knife. He had been in contact with a man believed to be a supporter of the ISIS Islamic terror group, who had offered training and funding.

The man is now in police custody in jail. Prosecutors have, however, ruled out a terror motive.

So he’s not an ‘Italian man’ after all, but a ‘Moroccan man’ who happens to be in Italy.

U.S. forces carried out attacks on multiple Iranian targets along the Persian Gulf Monday night, in what U.S. Central Command called “self-defense strikes.”

“U.S. forces conducted self-defense strikes in southern Iran today to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces,” CENTCOM spokesperson Capt. Tim Hawkins said in a statement. “Targets included missile launch sites and Iranian boats attempting to emplace mines. U.S. Central Command continues to defend our forces while using restraint during the ongoing ceasefire.”

Monday evening Iranian media reported several explosions at Bandar Abbas and in nearby areas. The city, located on the Persian Gulf, is one Iran’s main ports.

Riot police stormed the offices of Turkey’s main opposition party to remove its leader following a three-day stand-off.

Officers fired tear gas and rubber bullets at Republican People’s Party (CHP) supporters and officials as they moved in to enforce a court order that forced the removal of Özgür Özel. They then broke through heavy gates to enter the party’s HQ in Ankara.

Supporters had attempted to resist police by spraying them with fire extinguishers, but were quickly overcome. Doors, furniture and ground-floor windows were smashed in the raid on Sunday.

Mr Özel, who was elected as party leader in November 2023 but removed by an appeals court ruling, left the building to cheers and applause from supporters outside.

Inside a mud-brick hut on the edge of a camp for people displaced by terrorism, an ex-Boko Haram fighter is explaining what drew him to the group.

“I joined because I had no choice,” said the former militant, Bahana Alhadji. Then aged 22 and struggling to make a living fishing on Lake Chad, he told The Telegraph that joining the group gave him status, camaraderie and a reliable source of food. “When I was there, we were given rations every week. They made me feel welcome.”

As a kind of perverse signing bonus, Alhadji was given three teenage ‘wives’. The group is notorious for systematically enslaving young women and girls and forcing them into marriages with its fighters.

The US and Iran have agreed in principle to a deal that will reopen the Strait of Hormuz and see Tehran surrender its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, a US official has said.

It is hoped that the agreement will end the US and Iranian blockades of the vital waterway, restoring stability to the Middle East and ending the global energy crisis triggered by the war.

A US official stressed that, while the broad framework had been decided, final sign-off was still needed from Donald Trump and Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader.

At least 24 people have been killed in a blast targeting a train carrying military staff in Pakistan.

Army servicemen were among the victims in the attack on Sunday in the turbulent south-western province of Balochistan, a senior official said.

The attack in the provincial capital of Quetta had also left more than 50 people injured, the official told AFP news agency.

If Muslims don’t have any Christians or Jews handy, they’ll quite happily kill other Muslims.

Iran has agreed to surrender its stockpile of highly enriched uranium as part of a “largely negotiated” deal to end the war, according to US sources.

The deal includes an “apparent commitment” to giving up the uranium, but a concrete plan of how this would be done is expected to be established in further rounds of talks, two US officials told The New York Times.

Iran’s nuclear programme has been a sticking point in negotiations since the US and Tehran agreed to a ceasefire in April, and agreeing to give up its uranium would represent a major concession from the Islamic Republic.

First Daughter Ivanka Trump was allegedly targeted in an assassination plot by an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-trained terrorist seeking revenge for the killing of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani. Iraqi national Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, 32, reportedly pledged to kill Ivanka Trump and was found with a blueprint of her Florida home after his recent capture, according to an exclusive report from the New York Post.

The alleged plot traces directly to the January 2020 drone strike that killed Soleimani in Baghdad.

Since April 14, Morocco has been conducting large-scale deportation operations targeting sub-Saharan Africans migrating to Europe, reportedly arresting over 100 per day, local sources told Middle East Eye.

According to Moroccan human rights groups, around 800 people were detained during coordinated raids in the forests between Fnideq and Belyounech, in the northern tip of the North African state, where many were sheltering before attempting to reach Europe.

Europe’s largest mosque is under construction in Strasbourg, France.

The €25 million project is mostly funded by the “Islamic Community National View” (IGMG), a Turkish Islamic organization that manages 518 mosques and 2330 branches across Europe as well as in Australia and Canada.

In 2025, French MEP Marion Maréchal said that the organization was accused of “promoting a separatist, Muslim Brotherhood-style Islam”:

This radical organization is being used by [Turkish President] Erdo?an’s regime to maintain control over Turkish immigrant communities here in our country.

Maréchal added that French and European politicians, on both the Left and Right,

have rolled out the red carpet for Islamic communities with subsidies, building permits, loans, and land—all to buy their votes in elections. This compromise, openly embraced on the left, sometimes concealed on the right, comes at the cost of our security, and our identity, secularism, national cohesion, and, of course, the fight against Islamism.

This major mosque project in Strasbourg is the Eyyub Sultan Mosque (also referred to as the Grand Mosque of Strasbourg). Work on the project began in 2017. It is being constructed by the Germany-based “Islamic Community National View” or “Islamische Gemeinschaft Mili Görü?” (IGMG), which is reportedly supported through funding from Turkey and Qatar.

A Brussels court has granted Mohamed Bakkali, a convicted terrorist involved in the murderous 2015 Paris attacks, temporary release from prison.

According to the Belgian outlet La Libre, Bakkali is permitted six periods of leave from his cell of up to 36 hours each in duration. The judiciary justified a decision, citing his good behaviour. While the public prosecutor’s office strongly opposed these furloughs, it was reportedly denied the opportunity to appeal.

Bakkali, who helped plan the Paris atrocity and arranged accommodation for the perpetrators, was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2022. He also received a 25-year sentence for a foiled separate railway attack.

After conviction in France, he was transferred to Belgium, his country of citizenship.

The Belgian justice system allows inmates to apply for temporary release after serving just one-third of their sentence, significantly earlier than the two-thirds requirement in France. Expected to be permanently released in 2040, Bakkali has already received five previous furloughs since last July.

The deportation of Syrian citizens from Germany has been virtually paralyzed despite the political announcements made by Berlin in recent months. A key reason is that Damascus has stopped issuing replacement travel documents for Syrian nationals facing deportation.

According to recently published information, since the end of January no German federal state has received the type of documentation required to carry out forced returns of individuals lacking valid passports or complete identity documents.These replacement documents are an essential requirement in deportation procedures. Without them, authorities may face serious legal and operational difficulties in carrying out returns even when a final deportation order exists.

German federal authorities have not officially confirmed the blockage, although they have not denied it either.

The issue currently affects around 11,000 Syrian citizens who are under an immediate legal obligation to leave Germany, according to data from the German Federal Police.

Belgian coastal police are urging urgent reinforcements as authorities struggle to contain a growing wave of UK-bound small boat crossings, which officials say are becoming increasingly dangerous and harder to intercept.

Police chiefs told a parliamentary committee that after several years of relative calm, Belgium’s coastline has seen a sharp rise in human trafficking activity, with smuggling networks shifting operations away from France due to tighter enforcement measures. As a result, departure points have increasingly moved toward Belgian coastal areas used for Channel crossings.

Local forces warn that the situation has become significantly more volatile. Officers report growing aggression during interventions, with some smuggling groups reportedly accompanied by individuals described by police as “violent ex-soldiers” from countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. Authorities say these individuals are being used to protect boats at launch sites and deter police from approaching.

It’s hard to figure out what is happening regarding the nation’s response to the tragedy in San Diego. Several Muslims were killed at a mosque by a couple of deranged kids in their teens, and the cops are claiming there is evidence it was related to pro-white racism. The killers showed up in a BMW (dog whistle?), and they had a gas can with an SS sticker on it.

Not sure why anyone would associate the SS with responsible motoring, but kids have always loved stickers.

Islam is the only major religion that actively promotes the murder of outsiders, calling it a means of obtaining eternity in a gross, trashy version of heaven in which men get to cavort, drunk, with pretty boys and virgin girls. It also tells adherents that jihadis who die trying to murder outsiders can then intercede for 70 of their family members. The world is full of Muslim moms who love it when their sons commit atrocities against Jews and Christians, because they hope to make it to paradise based on their sons’ actions.

Islam is the main reason it takes 45 minutes to get to an airline gate on a good day. I remember when it took 5. And it is telling that news stories about the shooting say the Muslims used the mosque to worship “peacefully.”

When was the last time you saw a story about a church shooting that said the intended victims were worshiping “peacefully”? You don’t have to say that about Christians and Jews. It’s assumed. In the case of Muslims, journalists think it merits special mention. Wonder why that is.

Salim El Koudri is the young man of Moroccan ethnicity who is accused of ramming and wounding pedestrians with his car in the Italian city of Modena last weekend. Italian authorities had announced that the incident was not related to terror, but they may have to revise that decision now that a batch of emails written by Mr. El Koudri has been revealed.

Two teenage gunman opened fire on Monday at the Islamic Center of San Diego in California, killing three men outside the mosque, one of them a security guard, before the two suspects were found dead, apparently from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, police said.

All of the children who were attending a day school that is part of the mosque complex – the largest in San Diego county – were accounted for and safe after the shooting, which erupted shortly before 12 noon PDT, according to San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl.

Wahl said the FBI was called in to assist in the investigation of the incident, which the police chief said authorities were treating as a hate crime.

Scores of law enforcement officers called to the Islamic Center encountered the bodies of three men shot dead outside the building, including a security guard who Wahl credited with likely having helped prevent further bloodshed.

A short time later, police discovered the bodies of two teenage males, aged 17 and 19, in a vehicle in the middle of a street, dead from apparently self-inflicted gunshot wounds, the chief said at an afternoon news conference.

Rep. Chip Roy introduced the Inhibiting Militant Adversarial Mullahs (IMAM) Act on Monday, which would bar radicalized leaders of certain religious denominations from being admitted into the United States.

“The United States should never roll out the red carpet for foreign clerics who preach anti-American hatred, celebrate terrorism, or serve as mouthpieces for radical regimes,” the Texas Republican told the Daily Signal in a statement.

If passed, the simple two-page bill would amend Section 101(a)(15)(R) of the immigration code to prevent nonimmigrant religious worker visas for “an alien with the title of Imam, Grand Imam, Shaykha, Mufti, Grand Mufti, Ayatollah or Grand Ayatollah from entering the United States.”

Roy, a co-founder of the congressional Sharia Free America Caucus, introduced the legislation following reports that some Muslim clerics have promoted hostility toward the United States.

Italy’s government has warned against dismissing the Modena car-ramming attack as merely the act of a disturbed individual, as the case reignites fierce political debate over immigration, integration, and public security.

Eight people were injured on Saturday after a driver at high speed ploughed his car into pedestrians and cyclists in the centre of the northern Italian city of Modena. Four victims remain in serious condition, including a woman who had to have both of her legs amputated.

The suspect, 31-year-old Salim El Koudri, an Italian citizen of Moroccan origin born in Bergamo, attempted to flee the scene before stabbing a passer-by who tried to stop him. He was eventually overpowered by members of the public and arrested.

An Iraqi man who was recently arrested in Turkey has been charged with plotting an array of attacks against Jewish targets, including on a synagogue in New York City, in response to the U.S.-Israel war with Iran.

A criminal complaint that was unsealed on Friday claims that Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, 32, is a commander in the Iraq-based Kataib Hezbollah that functions as a proxy for Iran. The complaint was unsealed when al-Saadi appeared in federal court in Manhattan.

The complaint alleges that al-Saadi is responsible in part for organizing the attacks in Europe that have been claimed by a new group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya. It marks the first major disclosure of intelligence information tying the group directly to the Quds Force, the overseas arm of the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and includes multiple photographs of al-Saadi meeting in person with IRGC leaders.

Attacks that al-Saadi organized include 18 in Europe that Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya publicly claimed, as well as the stabbing of two Jews in London last month, the complaint alleges. He also organized multiple attacks in Canada that were carried out and plotted others that did not take place, the complaint alleged.

Trump administration officials are encouraging the United Arab Emirates to get more heavily involved in the Iran war and seize one of Tehran’s Gulf islands, The Telegraph understands.

Some in Donald Trump’s circle have suggested the UAE should take Lavan Island, which was reportedly bombed in secret military strikes by the Emiratis in early April, a former senior Trump security official told The Telegraph.

Police are searching for a man who said “Jews gonna get beheaded” in east London.

Officers were sent to Whitechapel Road in Tower Hamlets after an online video showed the suspect making threats and slurs on Friday, the Met said.

The Jewish community police force, Shomrim (London North & East), described the footage as a “horrific video circulating on social media showing a gentleman threatening to behead Jews and much more”.

Shomrim posted online that it was “aware of the fact that the Orthodox Jewish community is exceptionally concerned about these threats”.

Activists in Hamburg are commemorating the displacement of Palestinians this week in a park where Jews were deported during World War II, following a legal fight that ended in their favor.

A German court allowed the “Bridges of Resistance” encampment to be set up from May 9 until Saturday in Moorweide, a public park where, according to the Hamburg Memorials Foundation, the Nazis rounded up more than 1,000 local Jews for deportation to the ?ód? ghetto in October 1941.

The encampment will culminate on Saturday with a march from the park to Hamburg’s port, the organizers announced. The demonstration will be part of nationwide protests marking 78 years since the Nakba, the Arabic word for “catastrophe” used by Palestinians to describe their flight and expulsion from their homes when Israel was established in 1948.

A new study on religious attitudes among young people in Vienna has triggered fierce political debate in Austria after researchers found that a significant proportion of Muslim youths place religious rules above the country’s laws.

The study, commissioned by the City of Vienna and based on interviews with 1,200 people aged between 14 and 21, found that 41% of Muslim respondents agreed with the statement that the rules of their religion stand above Austrian law. Among Christian respondents, the figure was 21%.

Researchers also found that 46% of Muslim youths surveyed believed people should be prepared to “fight and die” for their faith, compared with 24% of Christians.

In addition, 65% said Islamic rules should apply strictly to all aspects of daily life, while more than half supported Muslim women wearing headscarves in public.

French authorities have arrested a 27-year-old Tunisian man suspected of plotting a jihadist-inspired attack in Paris, the national anti-terror prosecutor’s office said.

The suspect was detained on May 7th following a preliminary investigation into a possible “terrorist criminal conspiracy.” He was later placed in pre-trial detention. According to investigators, he had considered carrying out an attack on a Paris museum and targeting members of the Jewish community, although no specific site had been definitively selected.

Sources cited by French media reported that the Louvre museum was among the potential targets, along with areas linked to the Jewish community in the capital’s 16th arrondissement.

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry announced on Saturday the arrest of 41 citizens, including multiple Shia religious leaders, over alleged ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The ministry said security services uncovered the alleged network through “investigations, security reports, and previous Public Prosecution cases related to espionage involving foreign entities.” The detainees are accused of “espionage involving foreign entities and sympathy with blatant Iranian aggression.”

Around 30 Shia Muslim clerics were among the 41 arrested, as the Gulf monarchy intensifies a campaign of raids and arrests predominantly targeting Shia religious figures and seminary teachers in Bahrain.

The death toll from a suicide attack on a security post in northwest Pakistan rose to 14 police officers early Sunday, authorities said as a self-proclaimed breakaway group of the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

A suicide bomber and several gunmen detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near the post in Bannu, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province bordering Afghanistan, late on Saturday, senior police official Sajjad Khan said. The attack triggered a shootout, and some officers were killed in the exchange, while others died later after the building collapsed.

Rescuers searched for hours and used heavy machinery to retrieve bodies from under the rubble, Khan said, adding that three police officers were wounded in the attack.

As long as Islam exists, ‘jihadis’ will be a problem. It’s been that way for 1400 years, and there is no indication that it will change. Whether our Ruling Class will continue prating how ‘peaceful’ Muslims are while ignoring the mass murder, or whether they will wake up and decide to do something about it, is an exercise left for the reader.

He seemed a genuinely nice fellow, and appeared sincere in his commitment to the cause. He had attracted quite a following among well-meaning and progressive-minded non-Muslims, many of them Jews. He presented the tantalizing possibility that Islam could be transformed into a more an enlightened version of itself, one that would no longer be the religion of vengeance, violence, and bloodshed.

Was he for real? Or was it taqiyya? There was no way to tell. And it doesn’t really matter, because from a Counterjihad perspective Dr. Jasser is just is dangerous in either case. A group of suspected Islamic State (IS) brides have been arrested in Australia after arriving with their children on flights from Syria.

Three women were immediately taken into custody after two flights with women and children linked to IS landed in Sydney and Melbourne on Thursday.

Kawsar Abbas, 53, who arrived in Melbourne, was expected to be charged with four counts of crimes against humanity relating to slavery, the Australian Federal Police said. Each charge would carry a maximum of 25 ?years in prison.
