Why Trump’s Push for Transparency in Public Schools Is a Victory for Parents

10th September 2026

Read it.

My kids just started back at school, and as a mom and an attorney defending parental rights, I want to stand up and applaud President Donald Trump’s work to crack down on the extremism and unconstitutional actions of schools from Kansas to Massachusetts.

Trump is right to use every lever of power he has in the Department of Justice and the Department of Education to make it clear to every woke school district that the constitutional rights of parents and students are not waived when they enter a school.

The only way to hold these schools accountable and stop secret gender transitions is for the Trump administration to take a strong stand. Federal statutes don’t give parents the right to sue the schools, so the president is doing it for them.

Trump’s DOJ just sued a Kansas school district for “facilitating secret ‘gender transitions’ for children without their parents’ knowledge or consent.” This “first of its kind” lawsuit was put in place because the school district was violating federal laws, allowing public schools to play parent, and putting children at risk.

And let’s not forget about the many schools now allowing biological boys to enter girls’ bathrooms.

Homeschooling Explodes 200% in NYC as Frustrated Families Reject Big Apple’s Failing Public School System

9th September 2026

New York Post.

The number of New York parents choosing to homeschool has exploded by more than 200% over the past 15 years — the highest rate of growth in all school sectors — as the nation’s biggest public school system struggles with an illiteracy and innumeracy crisis.

According to the most recent 2025-2026 figures analyzed by The Post, New York state now has a whopping 53,905 children being homeschooled — a figure that has more than tripled since 2009-10.

In New York City, those figures are also rising — with more than 14,000 children being homeschooled at last count.

A pity. NYC schools used to be among the best in the nation, and a great tool for assimilating newcomers.

Economic and Financial Ignorance

8th September 2026

Read it.

The level of economic and financial ignorance on display from so many people in the debates over “wealth taxes,” “redistribution” of wealth, and taxes in general boggles my mind.

I see way too many opinions and comments premised on, or stating explicitly, the idea that the wealth of wealthy people is just sitting in vaults or in idle brokerage accounts, not circulating in the economy, and thus not benefiting others in society. From this premise the argument is that such wealth would circulate more in the economy to the benefit of all if it were taken from the “wealthy” people who “hoard” it and redistributed to others who are not “wealthy.”

I am [now] an investor. For several decades I was a salaried employee at large corporations. Thanks to careful expense control and other money management by Mrs. Tabby, we accumulated sufficient “wealth” that most people (including most Americans) would call us “wealthy.”

As an investor, I see on my statements and the dashboard at my broker’s that our money isn’t just sitting idly in a MorganStanley warehouse. Our money (in our case mostly pooled with money from other investors with similar goals as ours) is invested in or loaned to companies so those companies can develop, to make, and to distribute the goods and services people want and value.

The Exodus Continues… Britain’s 3rd Largest Taxpayer Escapes To Greece

8th September 2026

Read it.

Britain’s highest taxpayers have been drifting offshore since the non-dom regime was scrapped in April 2025 and inheritance tax was extended to worldwide assets.

This shift is already visible on the Sunday Times lists: six of the 2026 Tax List’s top 100 (including Revolut’s Nik Storonsky) had left in the previous year, the compiler noted that one in nine names on that list were no longer UK-resident, and the companion Rich List dropped dozens of foreign billionaires while recording a sharp rise in British nationals now based in Dubai, Switzerland and Monaco.

But, the latest news is likely the most disturbing to the increasingly socialist government as the UK’s 3rd largest taxpayer – hedge fund founder Chris Rokos – is set to leave.

Socialist Candidate Cheers on Denver Teens at Anti-ICE Walkout That Turned Violent

7th September 2026

Read it.

High schoolers from over 200 Colorado schools walked out of class Friday to protest against the lawful deportation of foreign criminals who entered the United States illegally, many of them violent felons with long criminal records.

(I’m told this means they were protesting “fascism.”)

Colorado, being a Blue state now, has inverted the meaning of ‘school’. (What stupid thing will they do next? Walk out of the hospital? Walk out of the grocery store?)

British Patriots Clash with Police as Organized NGO Boats Arrive With Unwanted Migrants on the Coast

7th September 2026

Read it.

Apparently, there was an organized boatlift of north African migrants crossing from France into the U.K earlier today. Various non-governmental organizations were in place with tents and supplies to assist the migrants upon arrival.

By most accounts the influx appears to have been facilitated by NGO’s working with British authorities.  However, at various ports where the migrants arrived, they were met with hundreds of young British men who attempted to blockade the activity of the police and nefarious human traffickers.

Sounds like democracy to me. Good to see people waking up to the problems that their government is facilitating rather than preventing.

Catholic Nuns Sue Illinois Over Law Forcing Them to Help Terminally Ill Patients Kill Themselves

6th September 2026

Chicago’s archbishop, Cardinal Blase Cupich, joined two orders of Catholic nuns and an Illinois pharmacist in a lawsuit filed Thursday in an effort to block the End-of-Life Options for Terminally Ill Patients Act (EOLOA), the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty stated in a press release. The law, which they say would force the Church to help terminally ill patients kill themselves in violation of its teachings on the dignity of life, was signed by Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker in December 2025 and is scheduled to go into effect Sept. 12.

“Experiencing A Psychotic Episode…”: First ‘Clancy Copycat?’ Mom Hangs 2-Year-Old Son

6th September 2026

Read it.

A horrific copycat Lindsay Clancy murder of a child has been committed by a woman in Frankfort, Illinois.

Prosecutors say Corie Walsh hanged her 2-year-old son, Barrett, from a basement rafter on Tuesday, then tried to kill herself with a knife. She told police she did it because the boy was the “devil” and the “anti-Christ.”

Witnesses said she had become “very invested” in the Lindsay Clancy trial and was still texting friends about it hours before her son was found.

Islam vs. LGBTQ: Who Will Win?

5th September 2026

Read it.

The title of this post is a rhetorical question — when push comes to shove, it’s all but certain that the Hosts of Mohammed will clean the clocks of the Pink Legions. The same is true of the militant feminists. But those two struggles are relatively minor fronts in the culture wars, since both groups act as cannon fodder for the Marxist-Globalist forces that aim to impose a borderless New World Order on all of us. Even if the gays and the feminists are still blithely unaware of what Islam intends for them, I’m sure the theater commanders of the NWO have factored it into their planning.

A couple of minor skirmishes in that war took place recently in two very different places, Tucson and Paris.

FIRST OF ITS KIND: Civil Rights Division Tests Novel Use of Education Law to Combat Gender Secrecy Policies

3rd September 2026

Read it.

The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division brought a first-of-its-kind lawsuit against a Kansas school district, applying decades-old laws to combat a new problem: gender secrecy policies allowing school staff to hide a student’s claimed gender identity from parents or legal guardians.

“Parental rights are paramount in the operation of America’s public schools, and Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools does not know children better than their own parents,” Harmeet Dhillon, the assistant attorney general in charge of the division, said in a statement on the lawsuit Tuesday.

“The Department will not tolerate school districts playing fast and loose with federal law in the service of radical gender ideology,” Dhillon added.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday, accuses the school district in Kansas City, Kansas, of violating the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (1974) and the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (1978). These laws protect parental access to student records and require parental consent before students participate in federally-funded surveys on sensitive personal topics.

The school district adopted a Transgender Guideline in 2024 stating: “If any staff member learns a student is transgender or gender non-conforming, that information should be relayed to the school principal without delay. The school principal should discuss available accommodations and resources with the student or the student’s parent or legal guardian, including the availability of a planning meeting.”

Yet, “if it becomes known that the student does not want the student’s parent or legal guardian included at this stage, that request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.” The policy states that requests “will be evaluated by the executive director of student services & family support, director of student support programs, executive director of equity & inclusion, and the district’s attorney.”

Biden Judge Blocks Trump’s Effort to End Birth Tourism

3rd September 2026

Of course she does.

A federal judge in Maryland halted President Donald Trump’s newest executive action to restrict birthright citizenship.

U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman issued a temporary injunction late Wednesday, writing, “The 2026 Executive Order is almost certainly unconstitutional … for the simple reason that the Supreme Court in Barbara already decided that the children in the class are citizens at birth.”

Boardman, an appointee of President Joe Biden, also asserted, “The Supreme Court has spoken: Children in the certified class are ‘citizens at birth.’”

Well, we’ll just see about that….

California Let 400,000 Voters Register Without Providing Any ID

2nd September 2026

Read it.

On Monday, the Trump administration’s top federal prosecutor in Los Angeles revealed that California’s voter ID rules are so lax that nobody was checking whether voters were American citizens, with what he says is at least half a million voters on the rolls who never provided documentary proof of identification.

The prosecutor, Bill Essayli, first assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, made the case in an interview with Bill Melugin on Fox News. He said the state runs voter registration on the honor system, with no one in government confirming citizenship and the state accepting an applicant’s word instead. Essayli’s interview came in the wake of the arrest of Darwin Rivera Flores, a Honduran national, on charges of illegally registering to vote in California.

Biden FBI Cited SPLC in Taking Thousands of Actions Despite Knowing Org’s Deep Flaws

2nd September 2026

Read it.

The Justice Department’s new report on the Richmond Catholic memo reveals that the FBI had cited the Southern Poverty Law Center more than 22,000 times, at times without any caveats, even though FBI policies would require any SPLC citation to note potential bias and contested credibility.

The Richmond office of the FBI published the notorious memo on Jan. 23, 2023, claiming that “racially-motivated violent extremists” were seeking to recruit “radical traditional Catholics.” The memo didn’t just cite the SPLC, it did so without any caveats about the SPLC’s questionable credibility.

The SPLC has explicitly stated that it “did not provide any information or communicate with any FBI personnel involved in preparing this Richmond Field Office memo.” Yet newly released documents reveal the FBI citing the SPLC without caveats, at a time when the SPLC maintained close ties to the Biden Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.

The FBI publicly retracted the Richmond Catholic memo one day after it leaked, and a newly disclosed Feb. 21, 2023, Analytic Tradecraft Review explains why.

Among other things, the tradecraft review faults the memo for failing to “provide any details regarding any potential bias/credibility of the sources, including concerning SPLC.”

Syrian Man Not Required To Find a Job To Avoid “Provoking” Him

1st September 2026

Read it.

The man in question is Amer G., a Syrian asylum seeker who reportedly arrived in Germany in 2015 and has become known in Witten for publicly reciting verses from the Quran using a loudspeaker.

For years, residents have complained about Amer’s loud recitations. According to reports, he walks through Witten’s city center on a daily basis, while reciting Quran verses, sometimes in the early morning hours. Police and the public order office have been dealing with the man for a long time.

According to the job center documents, Amer continues to receive €563 per month in citizen’s allowance as a single person. His current benefit approval period is scheduled to run until July 2027. He currently lives in a homeless shelter and therefore does not receive additional housing allowance. Yet despite receiving benefits, the man has reportedly not been invited to job search interviews for years. Support programs and concrete employment offers have also largely ceased.

Police Bodycam Video Shows Response to Antifa Terror Attack on Texas ICE Facility

31st August 2026

The Other McCain.

It was past 11 p.m. on July 4, 2025, when police in Alvarado, Texas, stopped the red van that had been circling streets near the scene of a shooting. The first officer to look inside the van spotted a firearm on the front passenger side floorboard and immediately told the officer on the other side to detain the driver, who gave his name as “Meagan Morris.”

Morris had apparently driven comrades in an Antifa terrorist cell to the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Prairieland Detention Facility, where several of them began shooting fireworks toward the facility, while another terrorist, Benjamin Song, stood watch with an AR-15-style rifle. The plan for this “protest,” as the participants called it, had been hatched at a communal home in Dallas known as “The Big Gay House,” where 10 activists including Morris lived together.

After the fireworks and vandalism began, security officials inside the ICE facility called 911. The first law enforcement officer to arrive on the scene was Alvarado Police Lt. Thomas Gross. The Antifa terrorists began to flee. Gross shouted for them to stop and drew his pistol. Song nearby opened fire, hitting Gross in the shoulder, but the officer managed to stay in the fight. Gross fired three shots, one of which struck Song’s rifle, causing it to jam. Song took off running. He managed to remain at large for the next 11 days before finally being apprehended at a Dallas hideout.

In Praise of Competence

31st August 2026

Read it.

Before Caesar Chavez, Venezuela leased its oilfields to American companies who drilled, pumped, and transported oil. The companies generated profits which they shared with the Venezuela government. Then, Chavez and the socialists came in; kicked the American companies out; seized all their equipment; and began drilling, pumping, and transporting the oil themselves so that they could keep more of the profits. Over time, the equipment declined due to inadequate maintenance. As the decline continued, the amount of oil drilled, pumped, and transported also declined. The socialists blamed others and vowed to fix the problems, but the decline continued. The post-Maduro government, at gunpoint, is now putting America companies back in charge.

Until the next Democrat President gives it all away again.

Florida is hot, muggy, and flat. Much of Florida is uninhabitable swampland. Hurricanes happen in Florida. The historic concentration of money and talent in New York City is unsurpassed. New York City has been the real “city that could” for generations. California’s natural gifts, and the talent those gifts attracted, made California our most populated, our richest, and our most visited state. Vast areas of Texas are attractive only to Texans. The most beautiful parts of Texas would be considered below average in many states.

The defining story, so far, of the American 21st Century is the migration of wealth and talent out of California and New York into Florida and Texas.

Mamdani Posts Emotional Message Mourning Accused Knife-Wielding Killer —and Is Slammed by Victim’s Family

28th August 2026

New York Post.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani publicly mourned an accused career criminal killer who died on Rikers Island this week — and the family of the victim slain in the sick, unprovoked attack is now livid, The Post has learned.

Hizzoner said on X that he was “deeply saddened” by the in-custody death — the seventh so far this year at the troubled jail complex — adding that, “my thoughts are with his family and loved ones as they grieve this loss.”

The inmate was identified as 41-year-old Clarence Woodward, an ex-con with nearly 30 arrests on his rap sheet, who was found unresponsive in his cell shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday while awaiting trial for murder in the gruesome 2024 attack at a Bronx laundromat.

For the Left, the criminal is always the victim, and the victim is always of no interest.

Your Tax Dollars at Work: Georgia Teacher Creates ‘Fart Corner’ in Classroom, Calls It The ‘Gas Station’

27th August 2026

Read it.

An Atlanta elementary school teacher has created a designated “fart corner” where students can pass gas without leaving class or interrupting lessons, according to NBC.

Second grade teacher Candy Sydney Browning calls the area the “gas station,” while the specific spot is known as the “gusty winds area.” Students can quietly get up, walk to the corner, take care of business and return to their seats without asking permission.

Sydney Browning came up with the idea after noticing that bathroom trips and students reacting to classmates passing gas were taking time away from lessons. She had already started encouraging students to use the restroom before lessons so they would not need to leave as often. Passing gas, however, created another distraction. Students would point fingers, move away from one another and announce who they thought was responsible.

Rather than treating it as something embarrassing, Sydney Browning wanted students to understand that passing gas is simply a normal bodily function. “It’s normal,” she told them. “But you have to excuse yourself.” Creating a specific area gave students a discreet way to do that without stopping the lesson.

Sweden’s Muslim Voters Remain Overwhelmingly on the Left

My, what a surprise. Aren’t you surprised? I’m sure surprised.

Muslim voters in Sweden remain heavily concentrated on the political left, although the Sweden Democrats attract considerably more support among Muslim voters than the other parties in the governing coalition, according to polling and election research.

Previously unpublished figures from Novus, seen by Fokus magazine, show that 61.6% of respondents who identified as Muslim supported the Social Democrats, while 18.7% backed the Left Party. The Green Party received 4.9%, meaning the three left-wing parties together accounted for 85% of Muslim respondents’ preferences.

By contrast, the governing Moderates received just 2.1%, while the Christian Democrats and Liberals received 1.5% and 0.2%, respectively. The three parties together attracted 3.8%.

The Disparity Obsession

25th August 2026

Read it.

Dozens of “gap” statistics have become so deeply embedded in our political discourse that we hardly question whether unequal outcomes are actually evidence of discrimination. “Women make 77 cents on the dollar compared to men.” “Hispanic students make up a disproportionately small percentage of university graduates.” “Black women must work into the following July to catch up to what white men made the previous year.”

In our equity-obsessed age, each one of these “gap stats” has a grimy underbelly, made up of individuals who are unfairly denied the fruits of their talents because institutions have tried to force equal outcomes: men who work longer hours on average; Asians who have higher SAT scores on average; Millennial and Gen Z white applicants who get passed over at work because they don’t add to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

We are living through a decade of wokeism in which racial favoritism has graduated from an ostensibly temporary thumb on the scale for the almost-qualified to the kind of unqualified frenzy that attracts grifters and con artists. And, correspondingly, the discrimination against the disfavored has gone from ambient to so intense as to bar advancement in culturally prestigious industries. Contra to dismissive talking points from purveyors like AOC, Woke 1 has done real damage to many lives.

Mamdani’s Grocery Store Plan Lands NYC in Major Court Battle

25th August 2026

Read it.

New York City on Monday was named in a lawsuit over Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s plan to open multiple taxpayer-funded grocery stores in the city next year, which could put mom-and-pop grocery stores out of business.

A coalition representing immigrant-run grocery stores brought the suit.

“These grocery stores and bodegas are right to be concerned about going out of business,” Heritage Foundation Chief Economist E.J. Antoni told the Daily Signal.

Antoni added that local stores “operate in an unfavorable tax and regulatory environment with thin margins,” which are compounded by the city’s crime, “which imposes additional costs.”

“It seems that Mamdani’s grocery stores will be in violation of the law from the standpoint of selling items at a loss to drive out competitors,” the chief economist concluded.

Dorothy Sayers Is the Answer to John Dewey

24th August 2026

Read it.

As we look back at the last century, it can seem that the Liberal Arts model deteriorated through factors like neglect, laziness, or mission creep. But the reality was strikingly different. This older model of education was not misplaced; it suffered a planned and deliberate attack. The leading educators of the last century turned on the Liberal Arts program and tried to gut it. The central voice in this attack was John Dewey, but other educators, like the Developmentalists, joined him in that work. Their primary criticism was that the older Liberal Arts model could not accommodate new research done in child development. Into the middle of this pedagogical revolution, Dorothy Sayers stepped up in 1947 and defended the Liberal Arts program in her work The Lost Tools of Learning. In her defense of the liberal arts, Sayers both acknowledged the factor of childhood development and offered a way for Classical education to deal with these criticisms. In this way, Sayers did not merely defend the Liberal Arts program but also, and more importantly, offered a way for Classical education to disarm Dewey’s project.

The chief virtue of the old paradigm of the Liberal education (i.e. “The Liberal Arts”) is that they made sure everybody going through this form of paideia would have a deep knowledge of language and a facility with basic mathematics.

What were the Liberal Arts?

The Trivium was Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. The graduates of the Trivium knew how language worked, how reasoning worked, and how persuasion worked. Those are the skills we most miss in the modern world. The Boomer generation was the last tranche of the population to get any substantial training in these three areas.

Our Constitution was devised by people who were thus educated, and devised for people who were thus educated; and the Founders couldn’t have imagined that education would be so corrupted as to deviate from these goals.

Note: THESE WERE GOALS. They aren’t related to ‘childhood development’ except insofar as a stage of ‘scientific’ childhood development will inform how these goals are reached at certain ages. The goals themselves remain. And the goals themselves were what ‘progressive’ education corrupted and eventually abandoned.

The Quadrivium was Arithmetic, Geometry, Music, and Astronomy.  Arithmetic was facility with number per se, Geometry was facility with number in space, Music was facility with number in time, and Astronomy was facility with number in time and space. As you can see, almost all of modern mathematics can fit one of these four categories.

The British university system (which was, until Wokeness corrupted it, far superior to the German research-institution concept adopted in America) basically continued this system and doubled down. The standard British university program was classics and mathematics. (Our SAT and ACT tests for getting into college still reflect this division.)

Classics was based on Latin and Greek but involved not only language and literature but also history, philosophy, drama, poetry, and culture broadly conceived, which are still the foundation of Western civilization. “There is nothing new under the sun.” If you knew how people handled problems in the past, you had a clue as to how to handle those problems when they (or similar problems) arose in the future. Learning Latin and Greek in depth rewires your brain; this carries forward into real life even when you don’t realize it. I can vouch for that from personal experience. Mathematics was every mathematical area beyond the Quadrivium basics,

These two programs were intended to produce well-rounded, well-educated individuals who could be depended on to handle pretty much anything that came their way—and did. This system produced soldiers, sailors, industrialists, scientists, politicians, diplomats, clergymen, financiers, entrepreneurs, agronomists, and made 19th-century Britain the wonder of the world.

Compare that with the Turd World country into which Britain has degenerated in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Thought for the Day

23rd August 2026

Trump on X.

“The Census Bureau has begun checking the Voter Records from 2020 against their Citizenship Records. On the first 128,000,000 Voters, the Census Bureau proves that over 24,000 Noncitizens voted illegally! The Census Bureau is going to analyze the next 32,000,000 Voters, and this number will explode. I WON THE ELECTION! We must pass THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

My, what a surprise. Aren’t you surprised? I’m sure surprised.

California Parents Sue School District for Mosque Field Trip

22nd August 2026

Read it.

A coalition of parents in Northern California has sued the Palo Alto Unified School District for a high school field trip to a mosque in the fall of 2025.

“Students allegedly were encouraged to wear Islamic religious attire, were given Qurans, observed prayer, engaged with participants in a Quran-memorization program, and were exposed to messaging that portrayed Islam as uniquely aligned with social justice work,” the Aug. 7 complaint declares. Strikingly, not a single family involved in the lawsuit is Christian.

The field trip took place as part of Palo Alto High School’s “Social Justice Pathway,” a three-year course track for sophomores through seniors. The program just happens to share its initials (SJP) with Students for Justice in Palestine, a college organization expelled from some campuses for its extreme pro-Hamas demonstrations in 2024.

The SJP program “has periodically and repeatedly organized field trips to a mosque at the Muslim Community Association—Bay Area [in nearby Santa Clara], the only house of worship included in the program,” according to the complaint.

The Illusion of a Left Without Woke

22nd August 2026

Read it.

Can an intellectual tradition dissociate itself from the very ideas it has helped to develop? That is the question running through “Left Is Not Woke,” one of the most widely discussed political essays of recent years. In it, Susan Neiman argues that the woke phenomenon does not represent the culmination of the Left, but rather its negation. The thesis is undeniably attractive. It allows the moral legacy of the Enlightenment Left to be preserved while attributing the excesses of identity politics to a deviation foreign to its own tradition. The question, however, is whether this historical reconstruction withstands scrutiny when examined in light of the history of ideas.

You think Swalwell Was Bad? Look Who Replaced Him.

21st August 2026

The New Neo.

Well, given the nature of his district, it ought to come as no surprise..Aisha Wahab will be replacing Swalwell until the November election, due to the results of a special election to determine the disgraced Swalwell’s successor. As you can probably tell from the name, Wahab is the US-born child of Muslim immigrants (in her case, her parents are from Afghanistan) and a DSA-supported candidate.

Hey, as long as Democrats will be stupid enough to support Muslims, Muslims will be clever enough to accept that support.

The Lindsay Clancy Feminists

21st August 2026

The Other McCain.

… and the weird thing — the creepy, scary thing — is that there are women taking the killer’s side of the case. Women are actually rallying outside the courtroom in support of this murderer. And, of course, blaming her husband for it.

The facts of the case are irrelevant to this; Lindsay’s supporters aren’t about facts, they’re about emotion. The core premise of their argument is very simple: No woman is ever responsible for anything.

Department of Education Moves to Strip ABA’s Law School Accreditation Amid DEI Criticism

21st August 2026

Read it.

Professional associations are nothing more than labor unions/lobbying groups for Highly Educated People, the functional equivalent of medieval guilds (and the actual equivalent of medieval guilds when they succeed, as they so often do, in pushing their protective restrictions into law).

Such associations are among the first (along with the universities and the Narrative Media) to be corrupted by the Long March Through the Institutions that enshrined crypto-socialism in today’s Crust.
