Joe Biden’s Vengeance: Democrats Descend Into Civil War

7th November 2024

The Daily Beast.

“There is no singular reason why we lost, but a big reason is because the Obama advisers publicly encouraged Democratic infighting to push Joe Biden out, didn’t even want Kamala Harris as the nominee, and then signed up as the saviors of the campaign only to run outdated Obama-era playbooks for a candidate that wasn’t Obama,” a former Biden staffer told Playbook.

The aide added they’d like a shot of “whatever they’re drinking if 100 extra days of campaigning for Harris instead of Biden would have changed the results of last night!”

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was at the forefront of efforts to depose Biden in July, and she admitted mid-October that she had not spoken to the president since her intervention pressured him to quit in July.

She told the Guardian that some of Biden’s camp had not forgiven her for damaging his legacy through her actions.

China to Unveil J-35 Jet Built With Stolen U.S. Tech

7th November 2024

Read it.

China’s air force announced it is about to unveil its newest stealth jet fighter, the J-35, which U.S. officials say was built with the help of stolen American military technology.

Documents disclosed by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden a decade ago revealed that the J-20 was built with stolen American technology used in the F-35.

The documents revealed that Chinese military hackers stole more than 50 terabytes of data from U.S. government and defense contractor networks, data that included details of the F-35 stealth radar and engine secrets, as well as details of the F-35’s AN/AAS-37 electro-optical distributed aperture system.

Engine schematics included details on the methods used by the turbine to cool gases, along with leading- and trailing-edge engine treatments and engine heat reduction data, all key elements of stealth design.

The technology was incorporated into the J-20.

Philippine Murder Suspect Faces Life Imprisonment

from Switzerland and has been presented to the judge in charge of the case. Given his history of recidivism, he faces life imprisonment.

Taha Oualidat, a 22-year-old illegal immigrant from Morocco, is suspected of having raped and murdered a 19-year-old student, Philippine, in September in Paris. At the time of the incident, he was supposed to be serving a seven-year prison sentence for a rape committed in 2019 but had been released in June before the end of his sentence. He was under an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF). After the murder, he sought refuge in Switzerland, where he was arrested a few days later. After initially refusing extradition to France, he was eventually expelled from Switzerland and welcomed by the French authorities.

Following his appearance before a French judge on Wednesday, November 6th, he was indicted for murder accompanied by rape, theft, and fraud. The indictment is considered a case of legal recidivism, since he had been sentenced by a juvenile court in 2021 for a rape committed in 2019.

The Signs of the Next Times

7th November 2024

ZMan points out some inconvenient truth.

waiting period between the presidential election and the installation of the winner, if the winner is not the incumbent. In most countries with elections, the transition happens within a week or two of the election. In America, the new president has months to wait for his turn at the wheel and the outgoing administration has months to do their worst, often with the goal of hobbling the next president.

The latter was on full display after the 2016 election. The last months of the Obama administration were used to set up the Russian collusion hoax, along with other schemes to prevent a smooth transition. The Trump administration was crippled right out of the gate, forced to go through the absurd theater of a special counsel to investigate what everyone knew was a political dirty trick. Between November and January, the fate of the Trump administration was sealed.

That is something to keep in mind this time. Like 2016, the political class was sure they had fended off the invisible army of orange Hitlers, only to find that their blue wall had crumbled once again. Unlike 2016 there was no way for them to claim it was fraudulent or illegitimate, since the results were conclusive. This may explain the relative quiet this time compared to 2016. By the standards of presidential elections, this was a trouncing in both the electoral college and popular vote.

I still remember the arrested adolescents of the Clinton administration stealing the ‘W’ key-caps from the typewriters in the White House on their way out. Most Democrats seem to top out emotionally at age sixteen.

NPR Closed Out Campaign by Hyping ‘Conservative’ Wives Secretly Voting for Kamala

7th November 2024

Newsbusters.

Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio underlined how firmly it’s on Team Kamala by airing a story on Monday’s Morning Edition hyping the notion that women were secretly voting for Kamala despite their pig-headed Trump-backing husbands. The headline was “Meet the conservative women who are keeping their votes for Kamala Harris a secret.”

Never mind that if they’re voting for her, they’re not conservative.

The Narrative Media seem to believe that when they say something it’s automatically true, even when it obviously isn’t.

I actually saw a commercial to that effect. It revolved around two ‘conservative’ women cunningly voting for Kamala while brightly lying to their husbands and sharing that girls-putting-one-over-on-the-stupid-boys look. I doubt that there is any conservative man doesn’t know for a fact how his wife will vote no matter what she might tell him, and I also doubt that any conservative man would either marry someone who would vote for a dumpster fire like Kamala or remain married to her if she did. (And he would know. Men aren’t as stupid as women like to pretend that they are.)

Tim Walz Is Returned to Sender

7th November 2024

Read it.

A week before Kamala Harris selected Tim Walz as her running mate, I facetiously urged her to “Take My Governor—Please.” Walz has compiled an uber-woke record as Minnesota governor. When he was elected to a second term in November 2022, the DFL won majorities in both houses of the Minnesota legislature. With the DFL in control, the legislature spent an $18 billion surplus on infrastructure, “education,” and entitlements.

We have become the land of 10,000 entitlements. The legislature raised taxes and adopted the law that earned Walz the moniker of Tampon Tim. They enacted an extreme pro-abortion and “trans refuge” law. The details were so embarrassing that Walz chose to lie about them once Harris heard my plea and chose Walz as her vice presidential running mate.

Harris’s loss to former president Donald Trump in Tuesday’s election returns Walz to sender. Back home in Minnesota, the local press now contemplates the prospect of Walz as a 2028 presidential candidate. Much like the New York Times on the national scene, Minnesota’s local press is out of touch with reality in a way that would warrant the commitment of your average working stiff.

I would love to see Walz run against J.D. Vance in 2028. That would be SO entertaining….

Mitochondrial Imbalance Linked to 90 Percent of Chronic Diseases

7th November 2024

Read it.

Mitochondria are often called the power generators of human cells. They convert nutrients such as glucose and fatty acids that we obtain from food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary energy source in our cells during metabolism.

At the same time, mitochondria are the core of human immunity, too. Healthy mitochondria effectively regulate immune responses, while mitochondrial dysfunction can damage immune cells, resulting in many chronic diseases and impaired cellular differentiation.

Chen argues that seemingly diverse conditions—including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, cancer, allergies, autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, and even various mental illnesses—can be understood through a “unified theory” of mitochondrial imbalance. This means that almost every disease can be traced to mitochondrial imbalance. In other words, in mitochondrial imbalance, there is invariably something wrong with the body’s basic metabolism. This perspective suggests that approximately 90 percent of chronic diseases stem from problems with mitochondrial metabolism.

The Left’s 6 Enormous Transgressions That Helped Propel Trump to Victory

6th November 2024

Read it.

Donald Trump seems likely not just to win the Electoral College but also the popular vote to return to the White House, delivering a massive rebuke to Vice President Kamala Harris and the Left more generally.

Trump’s genius—in raising his fist amid an assassination attempt, donning the apron of a McDonald’s fry cook, and riding shotgun in a trash truck—carried the day. However, the Left’s slings and arrows against the former president also helped propel him to victory by exposing how cynical and conniving his opponents were.

The Left committed at least six massive political miscalculations that also amount to transgressions against America’s political order. These moves helped Trump win, but they also exposed the forces he will face in a second term.

What is the Best-Case Scenario for a Trump Presidency?

6th November 2024

Alex Tabarrok.

The economy is strong and Trump has a significant opportunity to simply take credit for that if he avoids major disruptions. While he must fulfill some of his campaign promises, people voted for Trump not for his policies per se. Trump has leeway. No one will accuse him of flip-flopping. While these are not my first-best policies, Trump won against astounding media and elite opposition and an attempted assassination. The people have spoken, so here’s a best-case outline for following through on Trump’s policies without cratering the economy:

Donald Trump’s Revenge

6th November 2024

The New Yorker, Voice of the Crust.

Susan B. Glasser loses her shit.

Electing Donald J. Trump once could be dismissed as a fluke, an aberration, a terrible mistake—a consequential one, to be sure, yet still fundamentally an error. But America has now twice elected him as its President. It is a disastrous revelation about what the United States really is, as opposed to the country that so many hoped that it could be. His victory was a worst-case scenario—that a convicted felon, a chronic liar who mismanaged a deadly once-in-a-century pandemic, who tried to overturn the last election and unleashed a violent mob on the nation’s Capitol, who calls America “a garbage can for the world,” and who threatens retribution against his political enemies could win—and yet, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, it happened.

Gee, I guess The People aren’t buying your Woke bullshit any more, huh?

SO SAD on MSNBC: ‘Mourning’ Mika, Near-Tears McCaskill, Sharpton Blames ‘Bias’

6th November 2024

Al Sharpton predictably blamed racial and gender,”bias” and “misogyny” among black and Hispanic men for Kamala’s poor showing with them.

Joe Scarborough, for the moment, put aside his Kamala-toady persona and told things like they are, speaking of Dems being “wiped out,” and Trump scoring an incredible red wave equalling anything going back to Reagan’s 1984 landslide, even winning the popular vote for only the second time by any Republican in 36 years.

Say Goodbye to Trump’s Legal Cases

6th November 2024

Politico.

Donald Trump didn’t just beat Kamala Harris. He beat the system that tried to put him in jail.

He was already the first former president ever to be charged with and convicted of felonies. Now he has become the first convicted felon ever to win a presidential election. And his victory virtually guarantees that he will never face serious legal accountability for an avalanche of alleged wrongdoing.

Trump’s imminent return to the White House shatters years of work by special counsel Jack Smith to convict Trump for his attempt to subvert the 2020 election and for the stockpile of classified documents he kept at his Florida estate.

It halts the prosecution he is facing in Georgia for his 2020 election plot as well.

It almost certainly allows Trump to postpone any sentence on his New York conviction for covering up a hush money scheme in 2016.

In short, the president-elect is now his own judge and jury, insulated from the criminal consequences he might have faced without the legal force field of the Oval Office.

And it BURNS, doesn’t it? Wave goodbye to the kangaroo courts hopping for cover.

Quotation of the Day

6th November 2024

Dr Orion Taraban:

Our living environment is a reflection of our consciousness. Disorder without is very often an indication of disorder within. However, the relationship here is bidirectional. And this is fortunate, as a little clutter is much easier to sort through than the detritus of our pasts. If you’re feeling stuck or out of sorts, one of the easiest ways to bring a little more clarity into your thinking is to clean and organize your living space.

I’ve found this is especially true if you’re struggling with depression. In this state, even the most basic tasks can seem overwhelming – which can keep people immobilized in despair. It’s important to combat this feeling by chaining sequences of small wins. Start with what is immediately on hand and acknowledge your effort. Laundry is great for this: there are always clothes to be cleaned. And I’ve found that – even if I do nothing else all day – I somehow feel accomplished if I’m able to finish a load.

Japan’s Wooden Cube-Shaped Satellite Rockets to Space

6th November 2024

The Register.

Japan’s wooden satellite has been launched into space aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket with a mission to prove that wood can be a viable material for use in space.

Trust the Japanese to make a satellite out of wood.

LignoSat is a 10 cm cubesat made mainly of wood and solar panels and a smattering of electronics to record how the satellite holds up during its six months in orbit. Data collected will include temperature, the expansion and contraction of the wood as the spacecraft orbits, geomagnetism, and hardware performance onboard. One hope is that the use of wood will reduce the impact of space radiation on electronics.

Sometimes the old ways are best.

Trump’s Huge Gains With Black Men Demonstrate Power of His Populist Party Realignment

6th November 2024

Of all the trends on Tuesday night that stand out, one of the most remarkable ones is the shift in the black vote to the right. The shift was especially pronounced with black men.

Trump appears to have made significant inroads with black Americans, at least according to some of the preliminary exit-polling data. Several state exit polls show the former president picking up a much larger percentage of the black vote than he did in either 2020 or 2016.

Early exit polls released by CNN and Fox News showed Trump winning about 20% of black men in North Carolina and Georgia, and getting double digits among black voters in general. According to Politico, that’s a significant shift from 2020, “when Trump won 11% of black voters in Georgia and just 7% in North Carolina.”

Rogue Prosecutor George Gascon Loses Reelection as LA County District Attorney

6th November 2024

In perhaps the least surprising outcome of this election cycle, incumbent Democrat George Gascon got a shellacking Tuesday from his opponent, independent Nathan Hochman, in the race for Los Angeles County district attorney, losing by 62% to 38%.

The writing was on the wall for Gascon, as LA voters not only twice unsuccessfully tried to recall him but 74% of primary voters also voted for candidates other than Gascon in April.

It turns out that voters do indeed want a safe county, unburdened by violent crime. Voters correctly blamed Gascon for the tsunami of crime he unleashed through his pro-criminal policies.

This year, in the state of Pennsylvania, Trump picked up more Latino votes than in 2020, according to an exit poll conducted by NBC. Four in 10 Hispanics from the state voted for Trump versus three in 10 four years ago.

NBC’s exit polls also showed Trump getting 45% of the Hispanic vote. In 2020, Trump only got 36% of the Hispanic vote, according to Pew Research Center.

“Latino men are breaking for Trump by a 10-point margin, 54% to 44%, in a major reversal from four years ago, according to the NBC News Exit Poll. In 2020, Latino men backed [Joe] Biden over Trump by a 23-point margin, 59% to 36%,” reports NBC News.

The censorship and manipulation of political information by Big Tech companies led by “woke” white-collar activists, corporate media, fact-checkers funded by far-left billionaires, a web of leftist-controlled non-profits, and the censorship blob in Washington, DC – all working in unison to combat free speech and control public narratives is at its worst: election interference.

Obama Was the Turning Point

6th November 2024

The New Neo.

I’ve long felt that, as the title of this post says, Obama was the turning point – not to some hoped-for racial reconciliation, but to a divisive leftist dominance in US politics.

Prior to Obama, presidents cared to a great extent what the people wanted, and tended to respond to public opinion if only because they thought the people might vote them out, but sometimes also because they thought that was their job. After the election of Obama, who was the first truly leftist president and the first Alinskyite president, the MSM became totally taken over by propaganda rather than partially, and the president became deceptive about his goals and methods. The Democratic Party began to veer more strongly and openly to the left as the Overton window moved.

Obama didn’t try to shape his policy to the needs and desires of the American people, but rather to do what he could to further a global rather than a US agenda, and if the people didn’t like it they were just going to have to accept it. That approach has become far more common in Europe as well – or rather, it may have began in Europe and Obama was following their example. In reaction to all of this, both here and abroad, populist movements have sprung up and the left has concentrated on demonizing them as Nazi-esque.
