Interesting and timely article, thank you for writing it…

It isn’t only thirty-somethings starting off that increasingly find the American Dream out of reach; there are plenty of older folks who can’t afford to own a home.

And you aren’t wrong, the link between feminism, i.e., abortion, no-fault divorce, and birth control – and the demographic crash is very real. Prior to around 1970, jobs were listed by sex male and female, with the understanding that men needed work which paid well-enough to provide for a spouse and family as well as themselves. The entry of women into the workforce in large numbers, plus open borders, flooded the market with an oversupply of labor, depressing wages and giving the financial class an excuse to cut compensation for all men. So long, Great American Middle Class! Been good to know ya!

The is a societal problem now, since several entire generational cohorts have missed out on marrying, having children, and owning a home. Since the family is the building block of society, is it any wonder that we’re hurting pretty badly as a country these days?

Note that I did not write the article, I merely shared it.

I attempt to make my comments visibly different from the bits I quote from the article so that people will be encouraged to read it.

Actually researching such things is a lot of work that I don’t have the time to do, so I focus on spreading the news of which I think people who come to this site ought to be aware.
