Activists Disrupt London Marathon With Gaza Protest

Two protesters have been arrested after disrupting the London Marathon by throwing red powder paint in front of the elite runners.
At 1035am the two activists jumped over the barriers at Tower Bridge, wearing T-shirts that read “Youth Demand: Arming Israel”.
Youth Demand describes itself as a “new youth resistance campaign fighting for an end to genocide”.
The pair of protesters, who were arrested by City of London police, were named as Willow Holland, 18, from Bristol, and Cristy North, a live-in carer from Nottingham.
Women. Of course. Of course it doesn’t occur to them that they are doing their cause more harm than good by being so irrationally irritating.

It also doesn’t occur to these women that the people they are protesting *for* would treat them as property at best and kill them for dishonoring the men in their family at the drop of a hat.
