Just over a year ago, President Trump issued two executive orders banning destructive diversity ideology (a.k.a. “DEI” or “diversity, equity, and inclusion”) from the federal government and its contractors, including colleges and universities. The EOs sought to restore merit as the basis of hiring, advancement, and college admissions.
Both EOs reinforced prior actions by the president as well as by the Supreme Court: In his first term, Trump signed EO 13950, Combatting Race and Sex Stereotypes, which banned divisive concepts based on race and ethnicity, a measure duplicated in many states; and in June of 2023, the Supreme Court decided Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard (“SFFA”), which found that diversity rationales for racial preferences in admissions were themselves discriminatory and therefore unlawful.
Notwithstanding these major legal developments against DEI, colleges and universities, especially in Virginia, are continuing business as usual to promote it, albeit under different names, a move known as rebranding. “To avoid scrutiny,” said one official at the University of Virginia, diversity offices are now called offices for “community and belonging,” while “queer brunch” is now marketed as “cozy brunch.” At George Mason University, the DEI office is now called the Office for Access, Compliance, and Community—same staff, same stuff. They do this even though Trump’s EO explicitly banned rebranding, stating such programs are illegal “under whatever name they appear.”

The office of Fairfax, Virginia Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano has dropped murder charges against a man suspected of murdering a man at a bus stop – just days after the George Soros-backed prosecutor drew national criticism for dropping charges against an illegal alien who later went on to be charged with the murder of a woman at a bus stop last month.
“The Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney is in the spotlight again,” FOX 5 DC wrote Thursday, reporting that a second-degree murder charge has been dropped against Robert Andrew Reed, who had been accused of fatally stabbing another man at a bus stop last summer.
Reed isn’t the only bus stop murder suspect to have charges dropped, the local Fox affiliate explains.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s presidential campaign trial run masquerading as a book tour took him to Katie Couric’s Next Question podcast on Thursday, where she expressed concern over Newsom’s reputation as “slick.” During that portion of the episode, the former CBS and NBC anchor would ask such difficult questions as “Are you just ridiculously good-looking?” and wonder if that plays into concerns about his authenticity.

Russia is providing Iran with targeting information to attack U.S. troops and military assets in the Middle East, an American defense official confirmed to Newsmax on Friday.
First reported by The Washington Post, the development puts one of the United States’ chief nuclear-armed competitors in the rapidly expanding conflict.
Iran has, for years, provided Russia with its Shahed drones to attack Ukraine, and now Russian intelligence is returning the favor by aiding Iran in its retaliatory attacks across the Middle East.
Doesn’t seem to have done them much good; like giving a sniper scope to a rifleman facing a machine gun.

For years, of course, we have tracked the fundamental drivers which impact the gold price (from DXY debates, inflation signals, and de-dollarization headlines to COMEX outflows).
All of these complex signals and themes ultimately boil down to a simple realization: Gold rises as debt-trapped nations debase their currencies to monetize their increasingly unloved IOUs.
This is pure fundamentalist thinking, and it works. Gold’s direction is easy, because the fall of paper currencies is now obvious.
In short, real money (gold and silver) historically gets the last say over paper money (USD), paper metals (COMEX) and paper promises (USTs).
Or stated even more simply: Rock openly beats paper.

Late last year the federal judiciary quietly released a document that almost nobody outside legal circles normally notices: the fourth edition of the Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence. Within weeks one section of that manual vanished.
The reason it vanished reveals something deeply troubling about how climate science, academic institutions, and high-stakes litigation have become entangled.
The manual itself is not obscure inside the legal system. Since the early 1990s it has served as the judiciary’s technical guidebook for evaluating scientific claims presented in court. The need for such a guide arose after the Supreme Court’s 1993 decision in Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, which placed judges in the position of evaluating whether expert testimony is scientifically reliable before allowing it to reach a jury.
Judges are not physicists or epidemiologists. They are generalists. The manual exists to translate complex scientific disciplines into language courts can use.
Because of that role, the document carries extraordinary weight. Judges cite it. Lawyers study it. It is produced jointly by the Federal Judicial Center—the research arm of the federal courts—and the National Academies of Sciences.
Neutrality is supposed to be its defining feature.
The fourth edition, released on December 31, 2025, contained a new element: a chapter devoted entirely to climate science. That chapter ran roughly ninety pages and attempted to explain the fundamentals of climate research and the emerging field of climate attribution.
Within weeks it became the center of a political and legal storm.
In January 2026 a coalition of 23 state attorneys general sent a letter to the judiciary raising concerns that the chapter presented contested scientific issues as settled fact. Members of Congress soon followed with similar objections.
The concern was not abstract.

Ukraine (Zelenskyy) was angry at Hungary (Orban) for blocking the €90 billion EU loan (a loan with no payback clause) which was backed by confiscated Russian sovereign wealth funds. A splendidly European financial scheme.
To get back at Viktor Orban, Volodymyr Zelenskyy destroyed an oil/gas pipeline hub in Ukraine that transferred Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia (Robert Fico).
Hungary and Slovakia were furious, and Zelenskyy said repairs were too complicated to be easily fixed. Viktor Orban and Robert Fico then doubled down on blocking Ukraine funds and Ukraine’s assentation to the EU.
When Zelenskyy was questioned about Hungarian or EU inspectors visiting the site to evaluate the repairs, Zelenskyy said they would not be allowed access.
Zelenskyy further noted when he was told Patriot Missiles were in short supply, he did not get to visit the inventory; implying his lies were similar to lies told by the United States.
Caught in a lie, Zelenskyy followed up by saying he didn’t care, it was Russian oil so get lost.
Two days ago, Hungary then intercepted two Ukraine vans carrying $40 million in cash dollars, €35 million in cash Euros, and 9 kg of gold – presumably a money laundering transfer intended to fund Zelenskyy and his intelligence chiefs.
…
Upon hearing of the intercept yesterday, a highly angered Volodymyr Zelenskyy then threatened to send Ukraine “special military operators” to the home of Viktor Orban to extract revenge.
Fortunately, not our circus—not our monkeys.

The American university is broken. The people running the universities know it, which is why they have redoubled their efforts to make sure you can’t do anything about it.
The story has been told so many times in conservative circles that retelling it risks being a bore: William F. Buckley warned us in 1951 about the free fall that had already begun in higher education. Allan Bloom sounded the alarm in 1987. Ross Douthat offered his critique in 2005. A generation of conservatives has poured time, treasure, and talent into reforming higher ed. We’ve funded centers, endowed chairs, launched institutes, filed lawsuits, and written enough op-eds to fill the Library of Alexandria. Yet still—still—the average graduate of an American university is more likely to be able to explain the nuances of “systemic oppression” than to tell you who wrote The Federalist Papers.
That should be a sign that the old approach, whatever its merits, was fundamentally wrong—not because the diagnosis was wrong, but because the strategy was. As Aristotle says, we should deliberate about means, not ends. Conservatives have been trying to reform the university from within a system that is designed, at every level, to resist exactly the kind of reformation we seek. It is time to stop playing a rigged game and build our own system.

Europol has issued a grave warning regarding the “immediate repercussions” of the conflict in Iran for European Union security.
Spokesman Jan Op Gen Oorth signaled that the regional war will likely trigger a surge in terrorism, organized crime, and sophisticated cyberattacks.
A central concern for the police body is the potential for “destabilising activities” conducted by the Iranian-sponsored “Axis of Resistance.” This network of Shi’ite—or at least pro-Iranian—paramilitary groups is expected to pivot toward the EU to engage in intimidation, terror financing, and the exploitation of digital infrastructure via artificial intelligence (AI)-driven fraud.

A gathering of conservative Anglican leaders in Nigeria has taken another step toward reorganising the global church—although it stopped short of directly replacing the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Meeting in Abuja this week, the Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (GAFCON) abandoned earlier expectations that it would appoint a rival “first among equals” to challenge Canterbury’s traditional role as symbolic head of the worldwide communion.
Instead, the movement announced the creation of a new governing body, the Global Anglican Council, chaired by Rwandan Archbishop Laurent Mbanda.
The move is the latest chapter in a long-running dispute within the Anglican world. For many conservative Anglicans, the dispute began with the Church of England’s progressive turn on issues such as same-sex blessings and the ordination of women. Tensions intensified further with the appointment of Sarah Mullally as Archbishop of Canterbury—the first woman to hold the post and a vocal supporter of same-sex blessings.
Leaders within GAFCON say Canterbury has abandoned biblical teaching and can no longer claim spiritual authority over the global communion.

While tens of thousands of protesters were being killed in Iran, many of them authentic feminists, young women demanding equal rights and freedom from the oppressive compulsory ‘hijab’, the Women’s March remained silent. So did the National Organization for Women.
The Women’s March stayed quiet as young women in Iran were gang raped by masked men at gunpoint, much as it had remained quiet during the rapes by Iran’s Hamas allies on Oct 7.
Instead the social media feed for the Women’s March and the National Organization for Women were filled with hysterical attacks on ICE for deporting rapists like Yonis Mohamud, a Somali who had kidnapped and raped a woman in Ohio, Shayan Kahhal, whose record listed sex assaults and the sodomy of a woman, a girl and a boy in Virginia, and Asirullah Khalid-Khan, a rapist from Afghanistan, taken into custody in Austin, Texas.
Considering that under Trump, the ratio of male ICE detainees, who form a larger percentage of violent criminals, rose from 78% to 90%, ICE was actually reducing the gender ratio of women being detained, leaving the Women’s March to protest for male rapists.

Far too many so-called protesters these days aren’t simply expressing their First Amendment rights, they are using public coercion to harass, intimidate, and physically threaten people into accepting their views.
Several states are taking measures to clamp down on the rise of what one writer calls “civil terrorism,” essentially organized and often violent mayhem practiced by groups like Antifa and other anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement groups.
These are small, but important steps to ensure that America does not descend wholly into mob rule.

It’s merely less than a week in to the Iran war and Trump’s Operation Epic Fury, being done in cooperation with Israel, and much of the whole Middle East region is on fire. The blowback has been fierce, and as the energy supply disruptions compound and begin to be felt at the gas pumps in American, we expect growing blowback among the US domestic public as well.
Washington has already expended untold blood and treasure in the horrific two-decade long quagmires of Iraq and Afghanistan, and US interventions have resulted in mass death and enduring instability in places like Libya and Syria as well. On Monday, Witkoff said “the Iranian negotiators said to us, directly, with, you know, no shame that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60 percent, and they’re aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance.”

Attention DePaul University donors! Do you want to check out how your funding is being put to use? The institution just initiated an obnoxious, new anti-ICE journalism institute in partnership with radical ex-Mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot and another Chicago-based left-wing group financed by some of the most notorious leftists in American politics.
The supposedly Catholic DePaul — which sits comfortably on a roughly $1.15 billion endowment — announced that it was launching the cringely-named Institute for Journalism and Racial Justice (IJRJ) during a February 25 campus event, according to student newspaper The DePaulia.
he announcement came following a “community briefing for a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement accountability platform led by” Lightfoot. Who held Lightfoot accountable? The Firearm Industry Trade Association panned Lightfoot’s tenure as Mayor in 2023 as being tainted by some of “the worst criminal and gang violence in memory.” Chicagoans reported a 43 percent crime increase in 2022 above pre-pandemic levels under her administration. But apparently, DePaul sees the former Democrat mayor as its guiding “Lightfoot.”

Wow, has it been nearly two years since I used that headline? I created the Violence Against Women category specifically for the kind of “violence against women that feminists will ignore.” You can call it “intersectionality” or just call it hypocrisy, but if you pay attention a while, you’ll notice that there seems to be a double standard regarding this issue that feminists claim to care so much about. If the perpetrator of “violence against women” happens to be a Democrat, or a member of a key Democratic Party constituent group, then there will be no headline-making protests, no angry speeches in Congress, etc. Like everything else liberals in America claim to care about, this issue only matters when they see an opportunity to exploit it as a vote-getting trick for Democrats.
The problem with conservatives is that it is impossible for most of us to imagine how utterly cynical liberals really are. Everything they do is ultimately about trying to help Democrats win elections, without regard for whether Democrats actually do anything that helps the people liberals claim to care about. Because I was born and raised a Democrat, of the old-fashioned New Deal-era Yellow Dog type, this cynicism was never apparent to me until Bill Clinton (whom I voted for in 1992) became president, and proceeded to betray everything I’d ever believed in.

The persistent harassment and destruction of Christian Serbian heritage in Kosovo by the Albanian Muslim majority represents one of the most egregious ongoing violations of religious freedom and cultural integrity in contemporary Europe. This phenomenon, rooted in post-1999 ethnic revenge and fueled by radical Islamist influences, has manifested in the deliberate targeting of Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) sites, the mass displacement of Christian Serbs, and the export of Muslim extremism abroad. Far from isolated criminal acts, these incidents form a pattern that undermines the very foundations of Christian presence in the region and demands urgent corrective action from Western powers that bear responsibility for the current situation.
Historical records document the scale of destruction with chilling precision. According to the International Center for Transitional Justice and corroborated Serbian Orthodox Church sources, 155 Christian churches and monasteries were destroyed or severely damaged between June 1999 and March 2004, following the NATO intervention and the establishment of international administration.
This figure encompasses revenge attacks in the immediate post-war period, escalating dramatically during the 2004 unrest, when 35 additional sites were razed or heavily damaged in a matter of days. Notable examples include medieval masterpieces such as the Holy Virgin of Ljeviš (14th century, burned inside); the Church of Christ the Savior (14th century, burned); the Cathedral of St. George in Prizren (20th century, mined and burned); the Monastery of the Holy Archangels (14th century, looted and burned); Our Lady of Ljeviš in Prizren (UNESCO-listed, torched); the Church of St. Nicholas in various locations (multiple instances destroyed or vandalized); the Church of St. Panteleimon in Potkaljaja (14th century, damaged); the Church of St. Cosmas and Damian (14th century, damaged); and countless others from the 14th-15th centuries that embodied Serbia’s medieval Christian civilization. These acts of iconoclasm, often involving dynamite, arson, and looting, aimed to erase visible symbols of Serbian and European Christian identity and presence in Kosovo.
This is what Muslim immigrants to other Christian countries would do—if we let them.

A Berlin court has sentenced a 20-year-old Syrian man to 13 years in prison for a jihadist-inspired knife attack on a Spanish tourist at the German capital’s Holocaust memorial.
The suspect, named only as Wassim Al M., was convicted of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, and attempted membership of a terrorist organisation.
The attack occurred in February 2025, only days before Germany’s general election. The court confirmed that Al M. acted “in the name of the Islamic State (IS) group” and targeted a person of Jewish faith. The victim survived only because the knife missed major blood vessels by millimetres.
Al M. approached the 30-year-old victim from behind among the concrete steles of the memorial, inflicting a 14-centimetre (over five-inch) cut to his throat. Despite serious injuries, the victim managed to stagger out of the steles before collapsing in front of the memorial.

The controversy stems from a speech delivered on February 14th, 2025, at the Munich Security Conference, a major annual gathering of Western political and military leaders. Speaking the day after a deadly attack in Munich, Vance sharply criticised what he described as a decline in freedom of speech and democratic values across Europe.

TerraPower filed for the permit in 2024 and construction is now set to begin within weeks. Completion of the up to $4 billion plant is targeted for 2030, according to TerraPower.
Microsoft co-founder Gates, who is eyeing nuclear generation as a power source for the electricity-hungry data centers behind artificial intelligence, is a founder of TerraPower and its primary investor.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem told lawmakers Wednesday that sanctuary jurisdictions declined to turn over 17,864 illegal immigrants in local police custody to federal immigration authorities in 2025.
Noem provided the figure during a House Judiciary Committee hearing after Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, asked how often Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainers had not been honored last year.
“17,864 detainers were declined,” Noem said.
“Many of those people are out on the street, is that fair to say?” Jordan asked.
“That’s correct,” Noem responded.

CNN, a Voice of the Crust.
This Is CNN—so check another source before you believe it.
Iranian bombers came within minutes of striking the largest military base housing US troops in the Middle East before Qatari planes shot them down in their first aerial combat mission, two sources briefed on the operation told CNN.
On Monday morning, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard dispatched two Soviet-era Su-24 tactical bombers toward al-Udeid Air Base, which typically houses 10,000 US service members, and Ras Laffan, a key natural gas processing facility and a bedrock of the Qatari economy.
The Iranian jets were “two minutes” away from their targets, one of the sources said. A second source told CNN that the planes were visually identified and photographed “carrying bombs and guided munitions.”
The Qataris issued a warning over radio but received no response from the jets, which had switched to a flying altitude of 80 feet to evade radar detection, the second source said.
Due to “time constraints” and “based on the available evidence,” the aircraft were “classified as hostile,” the second source added. Qatar then dispatched its warplanes, and a Qatari F-15 fighter engaged the Iranian jets in “aerial combat” before downing them, the second source added.

Labour has told employers not to use the word “competitive” in job adverts because it is too masculine.
I can see why Labour would have a problem with that.
Companies should not use “terms associated with male stereotypes” when writing job adverts, including words such as “competitive” and “ambitious”.
I can see why they would have a problem with that, too.
In new guidance from the Office for Equality and Opportunity, bosses have also been told to use “neutral job titles” to ensure a greater gender balance among applicants.
No, they want men to lose and women to win. That’s not ‘balance’.

The collapse of Hollywood has been on the radar for some time now, though the industry consistently and vehemently denies they are in decline. The movie industry Titanic is sinking fast and the celebrity rats are abandoning the ship. Some of are even leaving the US for foreign shores. The media claims that the death of Hollywood is a signal that America is “no longer the cool country.”
This was the narrative of Fortune Magazine in a recent article discussing the celebrity exodus from America and it’s effect on the US as a center of “global culture.” The platform argues:
“An odd thing is happening as America, long a beacon worldwide as the defining destination for people in search of a new hope and a new life, is starting to feel like the “old country” that people quietly plan to leave behind. More than that, to be American is downright uncool…”
What? Are they not sticking around in California so that the state can tax their wealth? What a bunch of fascists!
(Hey, guys. don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out….)

In a rare and controversial move, New York Attorney General Letitia James has ordered a Manhattan hospital to resume offering gender-transition treatment to transgender youth. NYU Langone had discontinued such treatments after funding threats from the Trump administration. It is now caught between the proverbial rock (HHS) and a hard place (NYAG).
Last year, President Donald Trump signed an executive order entitled “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation,” seeking to restrict gender-transition treatment for people under 19. HHS then threatened hospitals with a cut off of federal Medicaid and Medicare funding for continuing such treatment for children.
Various European countries have also halted certain procedures after countervailing studies suggesting that the risks are too high. England’s National Health Service 2024 report on the subject, known as the Cass Report, found concerning evidence of harm for minors and inconclusive benefits.

A total of 746 rapes were recorded in London in January, according to publicly available crime data from the Metropolitan Police Service.
The figures mean that, on average, one rape was reported roughly every 60 minutes in the British capital during the first month of the year.
The data, broken down by borough, show particularly high numbers in several inner-city districts. Southwark recorded 41 cases—the highest total—followed by Tower Hamlets and Haringey with 40 each, and Croydon with 39. Newham, Lambeth and Lewisham also reported more than 30 cases each. Even in boroughs with lower totals, double-digit figures were common. Kingston upon Thames recorded 12 cases, Richmond upon Thames 11, and Bexley and Harrow 10 each.
Separate data obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show that in 2023, 780 individuals were investigated for rape offences. Of those, 544 were British nationals, 229 were foreign nationals and seven were of unknown nationality. The statistics do not clarify whether British nationals were born in the UK or naturalised.
Organised group-based sexual abuse in London, often referred to as ‘grooming gangs’—with its existence denied by Labour mayor Sadiq Khan—may well be a contributing factor to the grim statistics.
