The UK is doomed under Labour, the boss of Ryanair has warned as he claimed wealthy people were scrambling to ‘get the hell out of London’ before being hit by a Budget tax raid.
Michael O’Leary said he had no faith in the Chancellor’s ability to restore growth and branded her tax policies ‘dumb’.
The comments came amid reports that Rachel Reeves is planning to target the wealthy with a mansion tax in the Budget later this month.
He told the Guardian: ‘The UK economy under the current leadership is doomed.’
‘The UK badly needs growth, but the way to deliver growth is through selective tax cuts… you are not going to grow the UK economy by taxing wealth or taxing air travel.’
Mr O’Leary’s comments add to a chorus of criticism of Labour from UK business leaders – following warnings about tax from the likes of Marks & Spencer boss Stuart Machin and Asda’s Allan Leighton.

A federal judge ruled that the White House must restore real-time American Sign Language interpretation to all press briefings held by President Donald Trump or press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
In his ruling, U.S. District Judge Amir Ali in Washington said the decision to end the interpretation illegally excluded deaf Americans from important updates on issues like the economy, public health, and matters of war.
“Given the nature of the programming at issue here — regularly scheduled briefings on critical topics implicating markets, medicine, militaries, and myriads of other issues — the court finds that denying deaf Americans access to and the benefit of it presents a clear, present, and imminent harm,” Ali wrote.
This is proglodyte bullshit. There are no deaf Americans present at these briefings, which are not open to the public, and deaf people must depend for their information on what the news media report.
What I would do if Trump, and what I hopes he considers doing, is not holding any public briefings at all. He is under no requirement to do so. Have the press secretary hold private briefings for members of the press corps, and tell the judge to go piss up a rope. Hell, start a YouTube channel.

As part of their breaking-news coverage of Dick Cheney’s death, NPR’s Morning Edition turned to Jonah Goldberg, who tweeted “Dick Cheney, a great man, has passed after an amazing life. RIP.” The “great man” part didn’t come up on NPR.
NPR morning anchor Steve “Obama’s Always Cool” Inskeep had to make Cheney’s death about Trump.
NPR didn’t exactly think that was Cheney flip-flopping on everything he ever believed out of personal spite. Pro-Trump analysts would have Inskeep that voting for an abortion-loving socialist who wanted to fund transgender operations for prisoners wasn’t “ironic,” it was two middle fingers at the Republican Party. But Goldberg said Yes to irony.

Leaders should seek to unify people. Instead, California governor and likely 2028 presidential candidate Gavin Newsom is mired in identity politics, dividing his constituents into those entitled to privileges and subventions by reason of their melanin, sex, or sexual orientation – and those who are required to fund the largesse.
He opposed race neutral admissions to the California state university system (overruled by the people of California – twice), imposed gender and racial requirements on corporate boards (held unconstitutional – twice), required ethnic studies and ethnically dumbed-down math in K-12 curricula, and is carefully advancing a potentially multi-trillion dollar reparations plan for California’s black residents.
Newsom’s unconstitutional quest to curry favor with, undermine the confidence of, and potentially spend trillions of dollars on, California’s 2.5 million black residents began in 2020 when he signed AB3121 into law. That act required the state to study and develop reparation proposals for black Californians, with “special consideration” for descendants of slaves.

Synergistic with Dr. Soon-Shioh’s approach. Pluvicto attacks tumors with precision. His approach tunes your body’s natural defenses, and that could mop up what is left, in the best case scenario. And if the Pluvicto doesn’t work, the bodily defenses approach can potentially get the whole job done.

A top bank watchdog said he was making sure big banks have finally ditched those “oops, we just destroyed your business because we don’t like your political beliefs” – er, debanking rather, policies. You remember those, right? We sure do. It happened around the same time Google, Paypal and Amazon all banned us due to our (correct) take on the origins of Covid-19 and because they didn’t like our (correct) take on the BLM movement.
For those that missed it, a slew of banks under the Biden administration outright cancelled people’s accounts and didn’t allow them access to a bank account based on the industry they worked in, or many times their political views (surprise, none of them were Democrats).
Jonathan Gould, head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, or OCC, told a conference that supervisors are double-checking banks really did stop blacklisting sectors like firearms from banks, according to Reuters.
This oversight follows a June executive order from President Donald Trump directing banks to avoid denying services based on industry type or political considerations. Reuters writes that supervisors are now ensuring that the largest banks are in compliance with the updated approach.

Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, is formally introducing impeachment articles against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg on Tuesday for his role in the “Arctic Frost” probe.
Republican allies of President Donald Trump have been criticizing Boasberg after news broke that he was the judge who signed off on subpoenas and other measures in former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s probe.
“Chief Judge Boasberg has compromised the impartiality of the judiciary and created a constitutional crisis. He is shamelessly weaponizing his power against his political opponents, including Republican members of Congress who are faithfully serving the American people within their jurisdiction,” Gill told Fox News Digital.
“Judge Boasberg was an accomplice in the egregious Arctic Frost scandal where he equipped the Biden DOJ to spy on Republican senators. His lack of integrity makes him clearly unfit for the gavel. I am proud to once again introduce articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg to hold him accountable for his high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Iranians on Tuesday celebrated the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran — the first such commemoration since the U.S. bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities during a 12-day war with Israel in June.
On Nov. 4, 1979, Iranian students overran guards to take over the embassy, seizing dozens of hostages in a crisis that would last for more than a year.
In what is a yearly commemoration, thousands of people returned to the spot in downtown Tehran on Tuesday chanting “death to U.S.” and “death to Israel.”
If Jimmy Carter hadn’t been such a totally limp dick, we’d have formally declared war against Iran and cleaned their clocks once and for all.

Federal and state criminal investigations into a Virginia woman who distributed leaflets disclosing the home address of a White House official, Stephen Miller, have prompted a secret court fight over the balance between personal safety and free speech at a time of rising political violence, recently unsealed court documents show.
The records, which were reviewed by The New York Times, reveal that a local court approved the search of a cellphone belonging to the woman as part of an investigation that included multiple local law enforcement agencies as well as the F.B.I. and Secret Service.
The activist, Barbara Wien, has not been charged with any crime, though the Virginia State Police still have her phone. The investigation remains active, leaving it unclear whether law enforcement has since gathered additional evidence.
The dispute captures the fierce tensions over political activism that have become a defining feature of the second Trump presidency, pitting the Miller family’s concerns for their security against the First Amendment claims of a critic of the administration.
In an atmosphere in which political violence against Republicans and Democrats has become more common, administration officials have increasingly voiced worries about their security, citing in particular the assassination of the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk and two attempts in 2024 to kill Donald J. Trump.

Left-wing political violence is metastasizing across the Western world like stage-four cancer.
From the political assassination of Charlie Kirk by a furry-loving leftist, to the transgender extremist who massacred Christians in a Minneapolis church, to Antifa terror cells attacking ICE facilities and torching the vehicles of their political opponents in Europe, the West must come to its senses. These are not isolated events, but likely interconnected violent acts. Massive funding networks fuel some of these far-left pressure campaigns, as we’ve shown. EU-based billionaires have funneled more than $2 billion into U.S. nonprofits to fund part of the protest-industrial complex against President Trump to derail the ‘America First’ agenda.
All of this is unfolding as more Westerners reject “wokeism” and the Marxist power grip begins to crack under the Trump 2.0 era. The West must confront a very dark and grim truth: the modern far-left has normalized political assassination culture, targeting opponents with violence, arson, and even acts of sabotage, such as the 2024 power grid attack in Berlin that shut down Elon Musk’s factory.
Even the deep-state media outlet The Atlantic couldn’t ignore the alarming rise of what it called “left-wing terrorism.”

Within a progressive controlled nation, who gets punished by the law is greatly dependent on their political and ethnic affiliations. Left leaning groups (and people like migrants who are useful to left leaning groups) enjoy a separate set of legal standards compared to people who oppose leftist ideology. This has become a clear trend within the UK in recent years.
This two tier legal system helps the encourage future crimes by leftists and their allies while the hammer is brought down on conservatives and patriots to ensure they are fearful of stepping out of line in the slightest.
This double standard is obvious once again in the recent acquittal of three Just Stop Oil activists who made headlines after they spraying down the historic site of Stonehenge with a mixture of powder and orange dye. The dye cost around $1000 to clean but luckily did not leave lasting damage. The stunt was allegedly designed to draw attention to JSO’s climate change agenda.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated in fresh weekend comments to state media that the Islamic Republic is not seeking to build a nuclear weapons; however, he did say something sure to catch the attention the United States and Israel.
He asserted that Tehran will rebuild its nuclear facilities “with greater strength” following the US bombing of three nuclear complexes during the June war with Israel. “Destroying buildings and factories will not create a problem for us, we will rebuild and with greater strength,” the Iranian president stated.
If they’re not building nuclear weapons, why the insistence on building nuclear facilities? They don’t need nuclear power plants; they aren’t allowed to sell all of the oil they produce, so they ought to be set. This is a lie, and not even a particularly good one.

On November 3rd, a leaked memo revealed that the BBC’s Panorama programme had edited President Donald Trump’s January 6th, 2021 speech in a way that misrepresented his remarks, making it appear as though he was encouraging supporters to riot at the Capitol.
The programme–aired a week before the 2024 U.S. presidential election–showed Trump telling the crowd he would march to the Capitol to “fight like hell.” In reality, the President had said he would walk with supporters “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
According to the 19-page dossier, Panorama merged footage from the beginning of Trump’s speech with segments from nearly an hour later, creating the false impression that he said, “We’re gonna walk down to the Capitol and I’ll be there with you and we fight. We fight like hell and if you don’t fight like hell you’re not gonna have a country any more.”

Chances are, you’re already aware that birthrates are falling throughout the developed world, sagging well below the “replacement rate” and sparking worries about the implications of a future dearth of workers and consumers. However, the emphasis on economic implications has allowed a powerful political undercurrent to go almost entirely unnoticed: Birthrates are varying significantly by political orientation, a trend that has the potential to shape electorates and policies for generations to come — to the benefit of conservatives.
Replacement birthrates vary over time and place depending on shifts in related variables such as child mortality. In developed countries, sustaining populations without immigration currently requires reproduction at a rate of 2.1 births per woman of childbearing age. Except for an outlier replacement-level pace in 2007, the US birthrate has been sub-2.1 since the early 1970s. Last year, America hit a record-low 1.6, with even lower lows recorded elsewhere in the developed world: the birth rate in England and Wales fell to 1.41, while Scotland’s dropped to 1.25 and Italy’s to 1.2. Mainland France’s 1.59 was the lowest since World War I.
Media coverage has uniformly emphasized those top-line numbers. However, Financial Times columnist and chief data reporter John Burn-Murdoch recently waded deeper into the data and illuminated a sub-trend that could shape the future of the West. It turns out the drop-off in top-line birthrates is primarily the result of plummeting parenthood among progressive leftists, with conservative fertility slipping to a far smaller degree.
I’ve always said that people who have (and support) abortion are weeding themselves out of the gene pool. It’s only a matter of time (hopefully before they collapse civilization…).

Imagine reliving your entire life in the space of seconds. Like a flash of lightning, you are outside of your body, watching memorable moments you lived through. This process, known as “life recall,” can be similar to what it is like to have a near-death experience.
What happens inside your brain during these experiences and after death are questions that have puzzled neuroscientists for centuries.
However, a new study from Dr. Ajmal Zemmar of the University of Louisville and colleagues throughout the world, “Enhanced Interplay of Neuronal Coherence and Coupling in the Dying Human Brain,” published in Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience, suggests that your brain may remain active and coordinated during and even after the transition to death, and be programmed to orchestrate the whole ordeal.
When an 87-year-old patient developed epilepsy, Dr. Raul Vicente of the University of Tartu, Estonia, and colleagues used continuous electroencephalography to detect the seizures and treat the patient. During these recordings, the patient had a heart attack and passed away.
This unexpected event allowed the scientists to record the activity of a dying human brain for the first time ever.
I imagine that it’s similar to what happens inside of a computer when you turn it off. It would be amusing on one’s deathbed to hide a slip of paper that would stick out on one’s tongue saying “Disk not ejected properly.”

A small start-up in New Zealand claims it has created plasma, the first step towards nuclear fusion, in under two years and for less than $10mn after experimenting with an unconventional reactor design.
OpenStar, founded by chief executive Ratu Mataira in 2021 in his Wellington apartment, said on Tuesday that it had created and contained a plasma cloud at around 300,000 degrees Celsius for 20 seconds in its first experimental reactor.
While much higher plasma temperatures are required to achieve nuclear fusion, OpenStar’s test stands apart for its unconventional reactor design, which the company said could be faster to scale and commercialise.
This was first published about a year ago, so they’re obviously not burning down the house turning it into a practical product.

Currently, the fourth branch is in many ways the most powerful, and certainly the most destructive, arm of the government.

All of this creates a Red Queen Effect.
Citizens must establish their own organizations, and raise donations to engage in constant lawfare, just to retain the rights they haven’t lost yet. And they must win every time to maintain the status quo.
Bureaucrats, on the other hand, can fight endless legal battles using money taken from their victims by the IRS, at no cost to themselves. Any victory they claim, they may keep permanently, while any loss may be refought endlessly simply by a slight variance of the attack.
Obviously, if this system is not changed, all power will accrue to the bureaucracy over time. They will constitute a totalitarian authority over every aspect of the life of every citizen.

The republicans and democrats of the past no longer exist. They have been replaced by two entirely new parties. In the 20th century, the republicans were the party of classical liberalism, and the democrats were the party of social liberalism (the welfare state). These two parties no longer exist. This isn’t obvious because both new parties used the old names and infrastructures, which they infiltrated. This was easier than building something new, and allowed them inherit the resources and connections of the old parties. But they are not the same, because not only are the philosophies different, the new parties aren’t based on philosophies at all. The new parties represent communication technologies. The neo-democrats are the party of television. The neo-republicans are the party of the internet. This single relationship underlies all of their character and policies.

Illinois has now joined California and Connecticut in barring federal immigration agents from conducting “civil arrests” of illegal aliens in or around state courthouses. bloodcurdling endorsement of political violence I have seen from an elected official—and none other than Barack Obama spent the weekend sidling up to him.
Brief recap: Jones has not denied reports that he sent text messages fantasizing about shooting Todd Gilbert, the Republican former speaker of the House of Delegates. He said he would rather shoot Gilbert twice than kill Adolf Hitler or Pol Pot. He later said he wished Gilbert’s young children would die in their mother’s arms. He sent these messages to a Republican and, when she asked him to stop, he sought to justify these violent thoughts with one sentence:
“Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy.”
That’s the key justification for political violence: our agenda is more important than your life, or in this case, than your children’s lives.

On october 30th, a 36-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at a train station in Montpellier. The woman was trying to defend two teenage girls from the attacker, who is reportedly already facing a deportation order for a sexual assault charge and is in France illegally. The assailant was later arrested, according to the X post by Collectif Némésis covering the story.

Because all they ‘know’ about it is what they read in the proglodyte media.
There’s no getting around it: Our “corporate media” is down on capitalism, and a new poll showing a growing disdain for the foundation of American economic thought shows the media tilt may be working — or the professorial tilt.
An NBC News poll of 1,000 registered voters found that support for capitalism fell under 50 percent for the first time in seven years. The chilling shift “comes as some democratic socialists, like New York mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani, gain prominence in the Democratic Party,” NBC News national politics reporter Ben Kamisar wrote in his November 2 item. Only 44 percent of registered voters — a mere plurality — now view capitalism positively. Previous NBC News polls “showed slim majorities viewing capitalism positively.”
Just seeing what the American people are inundated with on a day-to-day basis by rich media hacks denigrating the very system that gave them their prosperity in the first place.

New York magazine, a Voice of the Crust.
Last year’s election debacle, rooted in the rapid decline of the then-81-year-old Joe Biden, took a heavy toll on New Hampshire congresswoman Annie Kuster. “It was the most painful thing I’ve been through since my own parents aging,” she said of her up-close experiences with the former president. “Nobody wants to face incapacity.” It forced Kuster to look hard at her party. Months before the fateful presidential debate that exposed Biden’s frailty, Kuster, at a mere 68 years old, announced her retirement, having served in Congress for 12 years after turning a red seat reliably blue. Though fit and healthy, she was feeling her age on some issues. “We were dealing with AI, cryptocurrency,” she said of her work on the Energy and Commerce Committee. “I am not the person best situated to be dealing with these issues. I did my best to learn, but it’s just time for us to move over.”
Now, as debate rages among Democrats over how to improve their party’s abysmal reputation with voters, Kuster worries that the crucial lesson of 2024 has been forgotten, particularly by ancient officials clinging to their seats and seemingly doing everything in their power to prevent a younger generation of politicians from emerging. “People keep asking, ‘What’s wrong with the Democratic Party? What’s the right message?’” Kuster said. “They act like there are magic words. And it’s like, ‘It’s not a question of just getting the right words. It’s that we are too freaking old.’”

Watch it.
This has no chance of going anywhere of course; Democrats on the coast aren’t going to give up any part of their population (tax base), any more than the Soviet Union allowed free emigration. But I like the fact that they feel about it strongly enough to make the effort. (The only reason West Virginia exists is because Virginia had seceded and was in a state of rebellion, so Congress felt free to ignore it.)
