A former Meta executive who wrote an explosive exposé making allegations about the social media company’s dealings with China and its treatment of teenagers is said to be “on the verge of bankruptcy” after publishing the book.

An MP has claimed in parliament that Mark Zuckerberg’s company was trying to “silence and punish” Sarah Wynn-Williams, the former director of global public policy at Meta’s precursor, Facebook, after her decision to speak out about her time at the company.

Louise Haigh, the former Labour transport secretary, said Wynn-Williams was facing a fine of $50,000 (£37,000) every time she breached an order secured by Meta preventing her from talking disparagingly about the company.

Imagine living in a country in which such an ‘order’ is possible. Britain effectively has no Freedom of Speech, popular delusion to the contrary notwithsanding. (It used to. But that was then, this is now. And with no analogue of the First Amendment, rights depend on the sufferance of the government of the day.)

The words of the legacy media suggest that they abhor political violence in all its forms, and condemn such acts. But they continually platform the very politicians that inflame our discourse during delicate times. The latest example of this is Dana Bash’s interview with Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett on State of the Union. 

After a pro forma question on the allegations against Tom Homan, Bash pivots to the House resolution memorializing Charlie Kirk. Crockett’s response was to lament that only two white people voted against the resolution, and to smear Kirk as a “New Age Relic” of the Confederacy:\

An anti-immigration protest involving hundreds of demonstrators turned violent in The Hague on Saturday, September 20th, as right-wing protesters clashed with riot police. Protesters set a car on fire, threw stones and bottles at police officers, and vandalised the office of the center-left D66 political party. The police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd.

Many of the demonstrators were dressed in black, linked to Dutch nationalist and far-right groups. responded with tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd.

Sounds like an ordinary BLM/AnitFa riot to me.

The only definition of political violence that makes any sense is violence that is undertaken with the intention (however quixotic or insane) of affecting the policies and processes of governance. By this definition, political violence is now overwhelmingly coming from the left. It is not merely a matter of fringe elements either, as the behavior of the so-called “fringe” has been encouraged, aided and rewarded by Democrat politicians and office-holders.

One obvious example: The #BLM Mostly-Peaceful-Protests (MPPs) not only had a peculiar tendency to become very violent, its protesters frequently, openly called for violence. E.g. what do we want, dead cops. Unsurprisingly, homicides against police officers, including deliberate planned assassinations, ensued, perpetrated by persons who explicitly claimed #BLM as motivation. The declared intention of #BLM violence—from speech to action, from doxing to assaults to arson to murder—was to change the way government functions, that is, the way laws are enforced (or not enforced).

To a considerable degree, #BLM violence was successful. Police officers themselves became far more hesitant to do proactive policing, many left the profession altogether and potential new hires decided against such dangerous and thankless employment, leaving law enforcement agencies nationwide understaffed to this day.

8. The ukulele has five strings, lending a quaint drone to Hawaiian music.

9. Space aliens visit Earth, but are only advanced in space travel, otherwise totally primitive, without a language.

10. J.K. Rowling’s “Hairy Potter” book series, about a hirsute ceramicist, is a hit with readers worldwide.

11. Gandhi decides to fistfight the British, one by one.

12. Beethoven’s sense of hearing is intact, but he is unable to smell like a normal person.

13. Leonardo da Vinci leaves all his sketch books in a tavern. His books and ideas are stolen by a guy named Milton.

14. The pyramids are made of styrofoam blocks with stone siding. They were built because the pharaoh lost a bar bet.

15. It’s very noisy because all insects have the ability to speak in Esperanto.

16. George Orwell’s “1985” depicts a dystopia which has free Pac-Man machines as its only redeeming feature.

Among both the right and the left and the right, there is a common (semi-) conspiratorial narrative. As lamented in works such as Joel Kotkin’s The Coming of Neo Feudalism, Yanis Varoufakis’s Techno Feudalism, and Shoshanna Zuboff’s The Age of Surveillance Capitalism, the world is entering into a period in which all artificial intelligence will manage a mass of deracinated, heavily medicated slaves whose entire lives will be tracked and recorded. Such an idea, once the work of science fiction, now appears to be an increasing reality. At the same time, opponents of this view argue that contemporary bureaucracy is so inefficient and incompetent, and technology seems to increasingly function worse and worse. Artificial Intelligence, moreover, is simultaneously near magically powerful as well as incompetent, and, quite frankly, dumb.

However, the growth of the state, which, oddly, used to be critiqued but is now celebrated by the Left, has been increasing for some time. Moreover, the archiving of information, which, again, was once documented and critiqued by left-wing figures such as Michel Foucault, Alain Badiou, and Giorgio Agamden, is something that has been a perennial part of human government, long before AI, but especially began to increase in the Early Modern era. In his recent work, The Archive of Empire: Knowledge, Conquest, and the Making of the Early Modern British World, University of Massachusetts historian Asheesh Kapur Siddique presents a chronicle of the formation of the early British Empire, paying special attention to how the British utilized archival bureaucracy to manage populations.

In the wake of the Kirk assassination, I’ve been thinking about how the background has been to stir up hatred against the right and especially white people as a group. White people themselves are supposed to hear the message and to feel guilty about their supposed “privilege” and even their very existence, whereas people of other races are encouraged to blame all their woes on white people – not just historically, but now.

So much has happened since the year 2020 that it’s easy to forget the whole “anti-racist” movements which – as with so many projects on the left – had an Orwellian looking-glass sort of title, because it represented the furtherance of racist thought. It looked at people as almost nothing but their races, and all white people were judged harshly because of being white. At the time, I wrote a post titled “White privilege, white guilt: whites as the new Jews.”

And MAGA are the New Niggers.

Meanwhile, on the left, Kirk’s death was celebrated because assassination culture has been normalized by a party that smears opponents as “Nazis” and “Fascists,” while its armed revolutionary groups spread propaganda that it’s acceptable to kill such people.

An American woman living in Britain got a taste of what it’s like to have your freedom of speech taken away when a police officer visited her house to interrogate her over a Facebook post that he claimed had “upset someone.”

Yes, really. The officer demanded that she apologise about the post, without informing her what the post was about or who she was supposed to apologise to.

Britain now is what the Democrats want the U.S. to be.

Capital Research Center Investigative Researcher Ryan Mauro released a devastating investigation September 17 exposing how Soros gave “over $80 million into groups tied to terrorism or extremist violence.” As Mauro concluded, “The evidence is stark: Open Society has sent millions of dollars into U.S.-based organizations that engage in ‘direct actions’ that the FBI defines as domestic terrorism.”

This pool included groups that helped train activists in “property destruction and sabotage” during the 2020 Marxist Black Lives Matter riots, and the climate change-obsessed Sunrise Movement, which Mauro wrote “endorsed the Antifa-linked Stop Cop City campaign, in which activists currently face over 40 domestic terrorism charges and 60 racketeering indictments.”

What’s even more damning is that this brand of dangerous, radicalized organizations that Soros funds isn’t just limited to American streets, but even stretches across the globe right into the heart of Islamist terrorist conflict in the Middle East.

The slain victim of Saturday’s country-club shooting in New Hampshire threw himself in front of his wife and daughter to save them from the deranged gunman, his mother has revealed.

Robert DeCesare, 59, was having dinner at a wedding with his family at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua when police say 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau stormed the building with a handgun.

“[Nadeau] kicked the door open, and Rob just went right for him and protected his family,” DeCesare’s mother, Evie O’Rourke, told WMUR.

Last Saturday, the Tesla chief executive told a crowd of up to 150,000 demonstrators to “fight back” against immigration “or die”.

Ever since the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk, the media has been embroiled in a constant debate over who has a monopoly on inciteful and downright violent political rhetoric. These “debates” are usually one sided with the overwhelming majority of those involved coming from the hard left.

To me, there is no contest. Not only has most of the violence come from the left, so has the violent talk. The token conservatives who have been allowed to weigh in on this, have done a good job for the most part, in pointing out that Donald Trump was shot, and another assassination attempt on him was stopped. House GOP leader Steve Scalise was also shot. There was an assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, (more on this later) and the left has burned down cities and has been rioting on and off for years. They point out that the left calls Trump a Nazi, and every other name in the book, claiming he is an existential threat to our country. And of course it is Charlie Kirk who was killed in Utah.

But for some reason, these conservative voices are missing several examples of high-ranking Democrats who have talked about attacking Donald Trump, threatened SCOTUS Justices and urged confrontation with members of Trump’s administration.

In Jim Marrs’ 1989 book, ‘Crossfire’, it was speculated by some theorists that Charles Harrelson was the youngest and tallest of the “three tramps” who were arrested shortly after Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas. A renowned forensic artist, Lois Gibson, reportedly matched photographs of Charles Harrelson to this figure.

I’m perfectly willing to believe him.

In a 1982 interview, Charles Harrelson told Dallas TV station KDFW-TV: “Do you believe that Lee Harvey Oswald killed President Kennedy, alone, without any aid from a rogue agency of the U.S. government or at least a portion of that agency? I believe you are very naïve if you do.”

Zohran Kwame Mamdani has had a fantastic week. The Democratic Party’s nominee for mayor of New York City, a self-avowed democratic socialist, secured the endorsement of Kathy “the Hack” Hochul, the Empire State’s bland, witless governor.

As colorless as nitrogen, Hochul discovered that Mamdani is her man to occupy Gotham’s City Hall. And it took her only 11 weeks since the Democrat primary to do so. That’s leadership.

Meanwhile, a Marist University survey of 885 likely voters found that Mamdani, a 33-year-old state assemblyman from Queens, enjoys 45% support. Mamdani is the tallest bush in a grove of shrubs. Former Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo, running as an independent, earned 24% in that survey. Guardian Angels founder and Republican hopeful Curtis Sliwa stood at 17%. Finally, incumbent Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, also competing as an independent, brought up the rear at just 9%. (Error margin: plus or minus 4.1%.)

Islamic State has issued a fresh call for terror attacks across Britain, the United States, Europe, and beyond, urging followers to target Christians, Jews, and their “allies” in what it calls revenge for Israel’s ongoing offensive in Gaza.

In an online message titled O Zealous Monotheists, ISIS spokesman Abu Hudhaifa al-Ansari told supporters to “chase your prey… in the streets and roads of precious America, Europe, and the world. Break into their homes, kill them, and punish them by any means you can.”

The statement, circulated on extremist channels, detailed methods including bombings, shootings, stabbings, and vehicle attacks, saying militants should “perfect the plans and diversify the operations” to “avenge Muslims in Palestine, Iraq, Syria, and all Muslim lands.”

The call comes as Israeli forces intensify their ground assault on Gaza City, where hundreds of thousands of civilians remain trapped amid severe shortages of food and medicine. Israel launched the operation after the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack that killed around 1,200 people and saw more than 250 taken hostage.

On Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces said it had hit over 150 targets in Gaza in two days, insisting its military campaign aims to dismantle Hamas and free remaining hostages.

British authorities have not yet commented publicly on the ISIS statement, which echoes previous calls by the group to inspire so-called lone-wolf attacks across Western cities.

As long as Islam exists, ‘jihadis’ will be a problem. It’s been that way for 1400 years, and there is no indication that it will change. Whether our Ruling Class will continue prating how ‘peaceful’ Muslims are while ignoring the mass murder, or whether they will wake up and decide to do something about it, is an exercise left for the reader.

Most readers are aware that I live in a remote rural area of the Central Virginia Piedmont. Today the Herald ran a feature article on the opening of the 5 Pillar Meats processing facility. As soon as I saw the “5 Pillar” in the name, I knew that we were dealing with a halal slaughterhouse.

There’s also a probable connection between the 5 Pillars people and the Jamaat ul-Fuqra compound, but I’ll get to that later.

Federal prosecutors revealed that Nicholas Roske, the California man who pleaded guilty to attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2022, had planned to kill up to three Supreme Court justices to “single-handedly alter the constitutional order” over Roe v. Wade. The motive appears political and leftist in nature, and other court documents obtained by The Daily Wire revealed that the would-be assassin identifies as transgender.

A new wave of terrorist threats is raising alarm across the West after the Islamic State group (formerly ISIS) released a disturbing statement urging its followers to launch attacks against Christians, Jews, and their allies in the United States, Europe, and beyond.

The call to violence comes at the same time as U.S. counterterrorism officials warned of a possible al-Qaida plot to strike American targets in the near future.

ABC’s indefinite suspension of late night “comedian” Jimmy Kimmel sent a shockwave across the media landscape. On Friday, CNN This Morning claimed FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and President Trump’s reactions to the suspension constituted government pressure against First Amendment rights and were seemingly itching for someone to sue them.

Former federal prosecutor Elliot Williams replied: “Yes, and that is the important thing when we speak about the First Amendment. It’s not private sector entities firing people for things they say, or for being indecorous, or even insensitive. It’s when the government says, ‘We do not like the things you are saying, and on account of the things you’re saying, we are taking action against you.’”

Remember that blowout September 2024 jobs report the broadcast networks slobbered over in October just before the presidential election? Well, the government admitted last week to a big whoopsie in configuring the jobs numbers. Sure enough, ABC CBS and NBC were clearly not as keen on letting viewers know they just mindlessly swallowed up what the Biden administration spit out for political leverage.

In September 2024, the Bureau of Labor Statistics stated October 4 that a supposedly gangbusters-level 254,000 jobs were supposedly added to the economy, just in time for the election. An MRC Business tally found the lead ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows from October 4 and subsequent October 5 mornings shows spent a combined 13 minutes and 27 seconds (or 807 seconds) singing its praises.

But when the report was heavily revised, the networks sang a different tune. As it turned out on September 9, 2025, the BLS would heavily revise its benchmark jobs report, conceding it vastly overestimated the Biden era jobs growth in the 12-month period ending March 2025 by nearly 1 million jobs, completely undercutting the over-sensationalized pre-election reporting by the Big Three.

French police filmed migrants on their phones but did nothing to stop them leaving the beaches as up to 900 reached the UK on Friday.

After nine days of bad weather stopped any boats crossing, the people-smuggling gangs took advantage of calmer seas to dispatch up to 10 dinghies crammed with hundreds of migrants.

The exodus came as two more Channel migrants – an Eritrean man and an Iranian man – were deported to France on Air France passenger flights on Friday. That brings the total removed under Sir Keir Starmer’s “one in, one out” deal to three this week, although at least five have been pulled off flights after late legal appeals.

Jeremy Corbyn has broken his silence on the civil war embroiling his new left-wing party, saying he was “appalled” by the abuse directed by Zarah Sultana and her allies towards one of his advisers.

Federal small business grants intended for national defense technology have gone to create mobile apps for gay men, “transgender” women, and LGBTQ parents, and have funded other diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

Senate Small Business Committee Chairwoman Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, has proposed the Investing in National Next-Generation Opportunities for Venture Acceleration and Technological Excellence Act, or the INNOVATE Act, to reform certain grant programs by eliminating DEI considerations or awards. The focus would shift to expand funding to small businesses in rural America.

“Your tax dollars should never be wasted on nonsense, especially when they are supposed to be spent on America’s national security,” Ernst told The Daily Signal in a statement.

According to Euronews, Stockholm is one of the most dangerous cities in Europe: it has recorded 55 shootings up until August this year, resulting in nine deaths, while nationwide, there have been 113 incidents, leaving 33 people dead.

The country has become a hotspot for drug gangs that often deploy teenage hitmen and makeshift explosives in their violent turf wars.

The scale of the problem is not confined to the capital. Malmö, Gothenburg, and Uppsala are also scarred by shootings, bombings, and killings linked to rival groups.

Sweden’s homicide rate involving firearms ranked third highest in Europe in 2022, behind only Montenegro and Albania. This marks a stark departure from the country’s historic image of Nordic order and stability.

The UK faced another surge of migrants crossing the English Channel on Friday, with at least 800 people making the journey in small boats, according to GB News.

Gov. Greg Abbott has renewed his legal push to oust dozens of legislators who fled Texas in August to briefly derail a hyperpartisan redrawing of the state’s congressional district boundaries.

In a letter to the state Supreme Court, Abbott’s attorneys say even though Democrats abandoned their effort to block the redistricting maneuver, those who left the state — including Texas House Democratic leader Gene Wu — should still lose their jobs over it.

“Ouster is the time-tested consequence for conduct like Wu’s. Absent action by this Court, quorum breaking threatens to become our new normal,” Abbott’s lawyer Trevor Ezell wrote.

Progressive megadonor George Soros has given $10 million to boost Gov. Gavin Newsom’s redistricting campaign as Democrats continue to raise huge sums from reliable allies.

The donation from Soros, first reported by the New York Times, is the single largest for Proposition 50 to date. Labor unions, a national Democratic PAC, and wealthy liberals have together contributed well more than $30 million as Newsom and allies rush to persuade voters to approve new House maps that could force out a half-dozen Republicans while shoring up Democratic incumbents.

Soros is a longstanding benefactor for the left and bogeyman for the right. He has poured millions into California politics in recent years, spending $1 million to help shield Newsom from a 2021 recall attempt and working to elect progressive prosecutors who embraced lighter sentencing and tougher police accountability.

His latest donation is likely to harden the fault lines in a race that has already become a highly partisan national fight. Republicans have long cast Soros as a malignant force, often using conspiratorial rhetoric to denounce his influence.

The timing was flagged as, at best, tone deaf in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a shooter who wrote fascist references on his bullets and was clearly radicalized by such rage rhetoric.

For me, the timing was most notable in how Weingarten and Clinton are again pushing their extreme rhetoric as a new report emerged showing the utter failure of our schools to actually educate our children. Weingarten and Clinton cannot be bothered by the long-standing declines in education. They are returning to the three Rs: Republicans, Rage, and Recrimination.

Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension was his own fault. The ABC late night host’s mean-spirited commentary disguised as comedy drove conservatives away. Kimmel was completely unconcerned with this development, but his desire to turn his show into a liberal echo chamber might prove to be his downfall because when he claimed that conservatives were desperately trying to “characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” ABC felt they had no choice but to take him off the air.
