Love the picture — Obama looks like the kid who brought the sandwiches and was allowed to stay and watch the grownups at work. It’s pretty sad when you look less like an adult than Joe Biden.

It is unlikely that the death of a British spy found at his home in 2010 — his naked body padlocked inside a large red carrying bag stowed in the bathtub — will ever be satisfactorily explained, coroner Fiona Wilcox said Wednesday.
I suspect Jason Bourne.
There was a key to the bag in which he was found inside it with him, and there were others in his apartment, Wilcox said.
There was no sign of a break-in or robbery in his neat, tidy apartment, she said Wednesday. She described his body as “peaceful” and said there was no indication of a struggle.
Definitely Jason Bourne.

In an explosive memoir released today, former CIA counterterrorism chief Jose Rodriguez provides new evidence that Rep. Nancy Pelosi lied when she declared she had not been briefed about the use of waterboarding.
My, what a surprise. Aren’t you surprised? I’m sure surprised.

“But I went to college — I can’t be racist!” Turns out, you can.
Steve Sailer thinks that this isn’t intended to be a parody.
For years, I’ve been talking about those who get the joke and those who don’t, and that’s what we see being played out, with the clueless going on the offensive. This is like Georgia attacking Russia in 2008.
… but I’m less sure. Hey, we report, you decide.

Nina Rhodes-Hughes, a 78-year-old former television actress, volunteer for Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign, and witness to his 1968 murder, “wants the world to know that, despite what history says, [Sirhan] Sirhan was not the only gunman firing shots when Senator Kennedy was murdered a few feet away from her at a Los Angeles hotel,” CNN reports. According to Rhodes-Hughes, there were two gunmen, Sirhan and another unidentified person.

I’m not really sure in what way ‘optical computing’ is any advantage over the ordinary way, but here’s hoping it produces something useful.

The Restaurant Opportunities Center, which one lobbyist describes as “the ACORN of the restaurant industry,” has been using U of M students as protesters. The students attend weekly protests of targeted restaurants and gain class credit.
And that pretty much tells you all you need to know about Michigan.

Now Obama, of course, doesn’t care one bit about deference to legislation passed by a democratically elected legislative body. He is concerned with outcomes, namely that the Supreme Court rubber-stamp his agenda. (Strike down the Defense of Marriage Act, uphold Obamacare, etc.) As do many on the left, he is convinced that whatever legislation he likes is constitutional and whatever he strongly objects to must offend some constitutional provision. This mind-set perfectly reflects the degree to which judicial review has become a matter of subjective preferences for the left.

New York Man Breaks Fencing Barriers
The link from Fox’s main page makes the card play even more explicit: “Fencer Slashes Color Barrier”.
What color barrier? There’s no ‘color barrier’ in fencing. Anybody who trains and competes can win. As Ben’s comments make clear, his talents have gotten him scholarships and adulation, not prejudice. The reason he’s unusual is not because black people are discriminated against, but because most black people don’t give a shit about fencing, certainly not enough to work this hard at it.
I have an idea: Why don’t we have an article about somebody because he’s good at something, not because he’s ‘the first black X’?
