Politicians in Denmark are expected to vote today on a controversial law that would force refugees to hand over cash and valuables and delay family reunifications.

The bill has provoked international debate since it was announced last month, with the United Nations warning it would “fuel fear and xenophobia” but Danish politicians claiming it is “about creating equality between migrants and Danes”.

In Iran the commander of the IRGC (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps) recently made public the fact that the IRGC was responsible for training (and often recruiting, arming and paying) 200,000 pro-Iran fighters in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan. This, in general, is no secret. It was long believed that as many as 50,000 Iranian created militiamen are fighting in Syria. There are somewhat smaller forces in Lebanon (about 25,000), Iraq (over 20,000) and Yemen (more than 15,000). Pakistan and Afghanistan were not happy with the IRGC publicly admitting that Iran has sponsored local (and often illegal) Shia militias.

This is not something new for the IRGC, which since the 1980s has had an elite organization whose main job was forming pro-Iran militias in foreign countries. This is the al Quds Force, which is a component of the IRGC. Also known as the Pasdaran, the IRGC is a paramilitary force of about 100,000 full timers that insures that any anti-government activity inside Iran is quickly eliminated. To assist the Pasdaran, there is a part-time, volunteer force, several hundred thousand Basej, which can provide additional manpower when street muscle is required. The Basej are usually young, Islamic conservative men, who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. If opponents to the government stage a large demonstration, it will often be broken up by Basej, in civilian clubs, using fists and clubs.

Details of their assessments, though shared with defense reporters over recent months, were publicly presented for the first last week by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot during a conference in Tel Aviv, organized by the Institute for National Security Studies.

The most immediate consequence of the nuclear deal will be felt in the realm of expanding Iranian regional influence, and the looming increase in the trafficking of weapons and funds to terror organizations, made possible by sanctions relief.

Additionally, the Iranian military industry, already considered to be an advanced stage of development by Israel, will receive much more investment, allowing Iran to design and produce more accurate missiles, rockets, drones, and other types of weaponry that it can then traffic to its regional proxies through its Revolutionary Guard-Quds Force (IRGC) networks, or point at Israel directly from Iranian missile bases.

The nuclear deal changes that situation, at least for the next five years. Although Israel will make every effort to monitor and scrutinize Iran’s activities, the expectation within the defense establishment is that the risk of an imminent Iranian breakout to the bomb has substantially decreased for the next few years.

The thinking in Israel’s military establishment is that the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has not forfeited his ambition to build nuclear weapons. Far from it. He has, however, taken a tactical ‘pause’ to achieve sanctions relief and assure the future of his regime.

In 2011, activist Esraa Abdel-Fattah helped ignite revolution on the streets of Egypt and was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Five years after the fall of autocrat Hosni Mubarak, she is shunned or insulted by Egyptians on those same streets.

“They say I am a traitor and foreign agent and that we are the people who destroyed the country. I hear it when I am passing people in the streets,” said Abdel-Fattah. “Some people still ask “what was wrong with Mubarak?”.

There’s no pleasing some people.

Anti-Semitism on U.S. college campuses spiked in 2015, with 302 incidents against Jewish students recorded at 109 schools in 28 states, according to a new report warning that the rise of anti-Israel organizations is fueling hatred and making many campuses unsafe for Jews.

And these organizations are typically geared toward favoring the ‘Palestinian’ cause, with Muslim students heavily involved.

The array of incidents were recorded at many universities and often included Nazi imagery, slurs calling Jews “evil,” and calls for Jews be murdered, according to a report published by the AMCHA Initiative, an organization that seeks to protect Jewish students.

I guess nobody worries about Judenhasse they way they do about ‘Islamophobia’, even though Jews are subject to hate attacks and Muslims almost never are.

Tammi Rossman-Benjamin, AMCHA co-founder and director, warned that anti-Semitism on campus is growing as a result of highly aggressive anti-Israel student movements such as the group Students for Justice in Palestine, which has used Nazi imagery in its campaign to demonize Israel.

One female student-athlete at Delaware Valley College came under scrutiny for tweeting, “Can I kill all the [expletive deleted] Jews in Lakewood pleeeasse?!?!!”

Had she tweeted that about Muslims, she wouldn’t be ‘under scrutiny’, she would have been expelled and possibly arrested.

This time we move west, to Austria. Up until now Austrians have not exhibited the audacity and spunk evidenced by the leaders from the former East Bloc. But the ice floes seem to be shifting in Austria — the first Western European country to show the initial symptoms of coming to its senses.

What makes “Fortified Austria” different is that it represents a subset of the Austrian establishment. Previous manifestations of resistance in Western Europe — PEGIDA, the EDL, the Identitaire movements, street demos, etc. — have been grassroots phenomena, agitating from the bottom upwards. But the movement that has just formed in Austria includes at least two serving military officers in uniform, and I presume some of the older fellows in civvies are retired officers. They have gone on the record, with their faces fully exposed, willing to take whatever political risks their actions might incur.

It resembles a low-grade slow-motion military coup. In an American context, imagine a serving colonel and general joining some of their retired colleagues and going on record against the current administration’s reckless defense policies that endanger the security of the United States. That’s what this is analogous to.

Over the past few months we’ve posted a number of excellent videos and articles showcasing statements made by current political leaders in the former East Bloc countries of Central Europe: Czech President Miloš Zeman, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico.

To that list must now be added Václav Klaus, the former President of the Czech Republic.

The former president’s words in the following video and article go farther than anything said by the other three — perhaps because Mr. Klaus is no longer a sitting head of state, and does not have to worry about having a military coup engineered against him in reaction to his statements.

Interviews with refugees from the fighting in Iraq and Syria as well as people still in those countries shows that over 80 percent believe the Islamic terrorists in general and ISIL and al Qaeda in particular are creations of the West (particularly the United States) and Israel as a means to destroy their countries and Islam. This is nothing new and while all this is unbelievable to most Westerners and largely ignored by Western media and politicians it is very real and has been for a long time. Media in these countries is full of even more fanciful (to Westerners) inventions. This has caused problems for Western troops operating in those countries, although some have figured out how to take advantage of it.

All cultures have a certain belief in magic and what Westerners call “conspiracy theories” to explain otherwise unexplainable events. In the Islamic world, there is a lot of attention paid to sorcery and magic, and people accused of practicing such things are regularly attacked and sometimes executed because “sorcery” is a capital crime under Islamic law. Conspiracy theories are also a popular way to explain away inconvenient facts and this is often found useful in countries that are hostile to other forms of sorcery.

When the defence ministers of France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Australia and the Netherlands join U.S. Secretary of Defence Ashton Carter Wednesday in Paris to discuss the future of the fight against Islamic State, Canada will be conspicuous by it absence.

Things were different not that long ago when Canada, under former prime minister Stephen Harper, was seen by many as leading the free world in understanding the challenge humanity faces from Islamofascism.

Fast forward five years to Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, and we now see that under the new government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau our commitment to fighting Islamic terror has been so deeply compromised that the coalition of seven major nations leading the fight against Islamic State decided not to extend an invitation to Ottawa.

It would have been inconceivable in the past for Canada’s defence minister not to be invited to the table. This time we were considered unworthy of a seat.

Like it or not, the Iran nuclear deal is done. In much of the Middle East, defense officials in many states believe that a sizeable proportion of the soon-to-be released $100 billion Iranian windfall will be directed toward funding proxy armies of the Islamic Republic, for whom the Jewish state remains the prime target. Israel’s focus is now, more than ever, on defense and surveillance.

Except for the people who had their fingers in their ears yelling LA LA LA LA LA, of course, which is a group full of illustrious and important people.

In the aftermath of New Year’s Eve’s mass rapes of European women by Muslim refugees, the questions have been repeated: Should we have known this kind of thing would happen? Could we have known? And from local bars to parliaments, from family dinners to the nightly news, the answers keep coming back: Yes; we could. Yes, we should.

But interestingly, the people who say this with the most conviction are not right-wing Muslim-bashers, or activists opposed to the settling of Syrian refugees in Europe. They are Muslims, and mostly Muslim women.

Over and over, these women, and other Western women who have worked in the Middle East and North Africa, pointed out the commonality of rape in the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia (the MENASAS region), and noted the oppression of women in most cultures there. (The Kurds form a notable exception.)

As it happens, jihadi hate for non-Muslims is not limited to the Islamic State, which U.S. leadership dismisses as neither a real state nor representative of Islam. Rather, it’s the official position of, among others, Saudi Arabia — a very real state, birthplace of Islam, and, of course, “friend and ally” of America.

Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing Fatwas — which issues religious decrees that become law — issued a fatwa, or decree, titled, “Duty to Hate Jews, Polytheists, and Other Infidels.” Written by Sheikh Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz (d. 1999), former grand mufti and highest religious authority in the government, it still appears on the website.

According to this governmentally-supported fatwa, Muslims — that is, the entire Saudi citizenry — must “oppose and hate whomever Allah commands us to oppose and hate, including the Jews, the Christians, and other mushrikin [non-Muslims], until they believe in Allah alone and abide by his laws, which he sent down to his Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him.”

Well, there’s a Religion of Peace and no mistake.

Our other “good friend and ally,” Qatar, also officially documents its hate for every non-Muslim — or practically 100 percent of America’s population. A website owned by the Qatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs published a fatwa titled “The Obligation of Hating Infidels, Being Clean of Them, and Not Befriending Them.”

Along with citing the usual Loyalty and Enmity verses, the fatwa adds that Christians should be especially hated because they believe that God is one of three (Trinity), that Christ is the Son of God, and that he was crucified and resurrected for the sins of mankind — all cardinal doctrines of Christianity that are vehemently lambasted in the Koran (see 5:72-81).

Incidentally, this same Qatari government-owned website once published a fatwa legitimizing the burning of “infidels” — only to remove it soon after the Islamic State justified its burning of a Jordanian pilot by citing several arguments from the fatwa.

Communications app Telegram Messenger is in the spotlight after the deadly terrorist attacks in Jakarta last week, with experts in Indonesia and Malaysia saying Islamic State radicals in Syria have used the platform to recruit members from Southeast Asia.

The revelations underscore both the apparent popularity of the Berlin-based app among members of the terror organization and the challenges it poses to authorities in tracking its private, encrypted chats.

Political leaders in Central Europe continue to lead the way in the opposition to mass immigration, specifically Muslim immigration, matching Geert Wilders in their “Islamophobia”.

Miloš Zeman, the President of the Czech Republic, has now joined Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico in asserting that the integration of a Muslim community into Europe is not only undesirable, it is in fact impossible.

All across Europe, the cover-up is unravelling. For ideological reasons, and to a lesser degree due to misguided economic theories, Western Europe’s elites have pretended that importing millions of Muslims from countries ranging from Morocco to Afghanistan raises no issues and creates no problems. That this is untrue has been obvious for a long time, starting with the Turkish “guest workers” who never leave. But recent events have ripped the lid off the pretense that has dominated European discourse about immigration for many years.

A secret meeting (secret until afterwards) took place last week between Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice Party in Poland, and Viktor Orbán, the prime minister of Hungary. Poland and Hungary are two of the “Visegrad Four” countries, which together are looking to resist the refugee resettlement mandates that the quota czars in Brussels are attempting to enforce.

At the moment the European Union is unhappy with the conservative Polish government’s changes to the country’s courts and media, and is considering economic sanctions against the Poles for going against the diktats of the center in Brussels.

In medieval Arabic literature, maqama were collections of tales recounted in a mixture of poetry and prose. Each vignette described the accomplishments of a sly trickster who hoodwinked his adversaries using deceptive rhetoric.

In recent days here at Gates of Vienna we’ve had our own silver-tongued Arab dazzling us with his maqama in comments on various posts. Dubbing himself “Muslim”, he left a series of reasonable-sounding, carefully balanced comments whose style verged on the unctuous. When anyone responded to him, he offered additional soothing bromides with equal verbal virtuosity.

The following report by Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media discusses the case of a culture-enriching young man named Walid Mustapha Chalhoub, who groomed underage girls in Quebec and turned them into his sex slaves. Mr. Chalhoub — who has now pleaded guilty to the charges against him — was a predator whose modus operandi was remarkably like that of the grooming gang in Rotherham, even though the scope of the operation in Quebec was more modest.

It was a different kind of terrorist attack: a carefully orchestrated, coordinated mass rape and sexual assault on hundreds of women across Cologne, Germany amongst the firework celebrations of New Year’s Eve. Reports of the attacks describe women desperately fleeing as men pulled at them, groped between their legs, dragged them into alleyways, and witnesses who struggled to rescue them as men threw bottles and fireworks at the police.

Two weeks later, more than 500 women, along with other victims in Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Berlin, have filed complaints, and 22 suspects have been identified. Most of those suspects are asylum-seekers, new arrivals from war-torn Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan who, German officials now say, used the country’s open-armed offer of sanctuary to the victims of terrorism as a gateway to wage even more terrorism in the West.

It worked. Across Europe, women have voiced a new fear of being on the streets at night and concern that the attacks in Germany will spread. In fact, they have already. Other such rapes were reported in Finland, Sweden and Austria over New Year’s as well, though on a smaller scale.

A Syrian woman friend of mine tells me that Syrian girls are routinely insulted, harassed, and groped by young Muslim men in Syria. It makes no difference whether the girls are Muslim or Christian, she says.

What was more extraordinary than what happened in Cologne was the fact that it was carefully covered up by the police, the city hall, and the Rhineland government. They all lied and lied and lied. News got out because of the social media and an invaluable news website called Breitbart.

But the mass immigration that Britain has experienced since 1997—the year Tony Blair’s New Labour government radically revised the immigration laws in a deliberate effort to transform Britain into a multicultural society—has had an effect wholly different from that of all previous political and social disruptions. Mass immigration hasn’t merely embellished, changed, or even assaulted the enduring, resilient national culture that Orwell adumbrated. Rather, by its very nature—by its inherent logic, and by the ideology, aspirations, and world-historical forces from which it springs and to which it gives expression—it perforce obliterates that culture.

In significant respects, the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis form a metaphorical foreign encampment, rather than an immigrant neighborhood, within a country in which a significant minority of them feels in fundamental ways incompatible. A Home Office report on the standoffish Pakistani and Bangladeshi districts in the northern mill towns found that “Separate educational arrangements, community and voluntary bodies, employment, places of worship, language, social and cultural networks, means that many communities operate on the basis of a series of parallel lives.” Less abstractly, Andrew Norfolk, the self-described liberal London Times investigative reporter who methodically uncovered the Rotherham sexual grooming scandal, concludes that “It is possible for a Muslim child to grow up—in the family home, at school and in the mosque and madrassa—without coming into any contact with Western lifestyles, opinions or values.”

The result, as Trevor Phillips asserted in a speech focusing on Pakistani and Bangladeshi neighborhoods, is that “Residentially, some districts are on their way to becoming fully fledged ghettos—black holes into which no-one goes without fear and trepidation, and from which no-one ever escapes undamaged.” Two-thirds of British Muslims only mix socially with other Muslims; that portion is undoubtedly higher among Pakistanis and Bangladeshis specifically. Reinforcing this parallel life is the common practice of returning “home” for a few months every two or three years and an immersion in foreign electronic media. Integration into a wider national life is further hindered—and the retention of a deeply foreign culture is further encouraged—by the fact that most Pakistani marriages, even if one spouse is born in Britain, essentially produce first-generation-immigrant children: the one study that measured this phenomenon, conducted in the north England city of Bradford, found that 85 percent of third- and fourth-generation British Pakistani babies had a parent who was born in Pakistan. (Incidentally, that study also found that 63 percent of Pakistani mothers in Bradford had married their cousins, and 37 percent had married first cousins.)

We wrote here, here and elsewhere about the mass sexual assaults that occurred across Germany, often in conjunction with robberies of young women, on New Year’s eve. All or substantially all of the assaults were committed by Islamic immigrants, in many instances just-admitted “refugees.” It is hard to say which is more appalling, the mass sexual assaults or the efforts by Germany’s officials at all levels to cover them up.

As many as 25 House Democrats are expected to have Muslim guests during Tuesday night’s State of the Union speech. It’s in response to a call from Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim voted into Congress, to counter an “alarming rise in hateful rhetoric against Muslim Americans and people of the Islamic faith worldwide.”

The gesture might not generate much more than a shrug, except that in at least two cases, Democrats invited officials from a group the FBI formally avoids due to historic ties to a Hamas support network. Delray Beach Rep. Alcee Hastings invited Nezar Hamze, regional operations director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Florida. And San Jose, Cal. Rep. Zoe Lofgren invited Sameena Usman, a 10-year veteran government relations official with CAIR’s San Francisco chapter, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned.

Russian air strikes have killed over 2,500 people so far, about a third of the victims have been civilians. This is condemned as a war crime by many but is also a less publicized (especially by the Russians) reason why the Russian air strikes have been so much more effective than the larger number of American ones. Russia does not abort a strike because there is too much risk of civilian casualties. This makes ISIL more vulnerable to air attack than when just the Americans were handling it. The U.S. believes that only a few percent of the people its air strikes kills are civilians. The ROE (Rules of Engagement) Russia uses against ground targets ignores the use of human shields or the presence of a lot of civilians for whatever reason.

In his recent Atlantic piece on “What to Do About ISIS,” Jonathan Powell, a former senior British diplomat, posits that eventually, the West would have to negotiate with the so-called Islamic State. It’s a comforting thought, in a way—the suggestion presupposes that ISIS, just like many other armed organizations throughout history, is the kind of group that can eventually be reasoned with, however distasteful its enemies may find the prospect. Noting numerous examples in which governments have talked their way to peace with terrorist organizations, Powell acknowledges, “of course people argue that ISIS is completely different from anything we have seen before. But people have said that about each new armed group since the rise of the IRA in 1919.”

If Powell’s historical analogies worked, the struggle against ISIS would be a lot simpler. Unfortunately, the analysis underappreciates how direly different ISIS actually is. The armed groups that Powell describes as having accepted negotiated settlements were fundamentally nationalist organizations—even where the group or “nation” on whose behalf they fought was sometimes defined partly in terms of religious identity—with fundamentally political and pragmatic aims. ISIS is instead a radical supra-nationalist group based on a deeply perverted interpretation of Sunni Islam, and it has hugely maximalist goals.

In other words, they follow the Koran as it was written back in the 7th century. That’s what every Muslim terrorist purports to do. Tortured attempts to differentiate ISIS from other Muslim terrorists only underline the growing cognitive disconnect among the Crust as reality refuses to align with their fantasy view of the world.

The man shot dead when he approached a Paris police station wearing a fake explosives belt last week had recently lived in a German refuge for asylum-seekers, it has emerged.

Tarek Belgacem, from Tunisia, had lived in the refuge in Recklinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia, posing as a Syrian or Iraqi refugee, German authorities said. He is known to have been present in France, under a false name, three years ago.

Well, let’s hope he wasn’t among the Syrian refugees that Obama is so keen to have come to the United States.

As many as 18 terror suspects have been able to flee Britain for the Middle East despite being monitored by MI5 or the police, it has been reported.

Including Siddhartha Dhar, the lead suspect behind Isis’s latest video threatening the UK, all 18 were either on bail or on terror watch lists when they escaped the country join Isis or jihadist groups, according to the Sun.

The Independent has previously reported that Mr Dhar was among six individuals allowed to leave who had been linked to the now-proscribed al-Muhajiroun group.

And it is now reported that of the wider group of 18, five were on bail when they fled, five were under investigation by security services and two were subject to government Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures (TPIMs).

Perhaps they ought to have given the job to the people responsible for vetting the Syrian refugees that Obama is eager to welcome to the U.S.

Japan is establishing a new intelligence operation to gather information on and monitor terrorist organizations worldwide. This will involve sharing information with foreign countries. Japan does not have much crime, or terrorism locally, Japan has so far avoided Islamic terrorist violence partly because Japan has virtually no Moslems. About one in 1,200 people in Japan are Moslem. Like other foreign populations Moslems (most of them foreign born) stand out and are watched carefully by police and Japanese, just like every other group of gaijin (non-Japanese) in residence. As a result there have been no problems with Islamic terrorism, or crime in general. Japan has some of the lowest crime rates in the world, although some of this is due to police reclassifying crimes (murders as suicides) when they can get away with it. Even with that, Japan is very safe compared to other countries.

Security authorities are growing increasingly concerned by the rising number of sex attacks by gangs of migrants which appear to be spreading across Europe.

Finland and Sweden today became the latest European countries to issue warnings to women to be wary of the threat of sex attacks following fresh reports of sexual assaults in the last week, while the Viennese police chief adviced women not to go outside alone in Vienna.

The warnings come as reports emerged that Austrian and German police tried to cover-up the issue over fears of reprisal attacks on asylum seekers and damage to the countries’ tourist trade.

Dozens of arrests have been made today in connection with the wave of recent sex attacks across Europe.

In each city the modus operandi seemed to be the same: a large number of young men, often intoxicated and setting off fireworks, preying on young women in a coordinated fashion, as if the whole thing were planned and organized in advance. Which it may well have been — but in a distributed fashion, not with a central command structure.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi did not order his troops to carry out attacks. But he didn’t have to — this is Islam, and any good Muslim who has paid attention to what is preached in mosques and instructed in madrassas knows exactly what to do.

When a sheep accidentally falls into the Amazon, the piranhas don’t have a central command-and-control system, either. But they can strip the unfortunate animal to a skeleton in a matter of minutes in a coordinated fashion. All it takes is effective and uniform programming in each individual organism of the population.

Don’t think this is all coincidental. Don’t dismiss it as ‘conspiracy theory’, either; free markets aren’t centrally directed, but are efficient and effective nevertheless.

German authorities have identified 31 people, including 18 asylum-seekers, as suspects in mob sex attacks and muggings in Cologne on New Year’s Eve — one of several such incidents in Europe.

In Cologne, where most of the attacks took place, a police spokesman confirmed Chief Wolfgang Albers was fired Friday. Albers’ dismissal comes amid criticism of his department’s handling of the violence.

Of the fifteen culture-enrichers arrested for molesting and groping women on New Year’s Eve in Cologne, fourteen were identified as Syrian. But that should really be “Syrian” in quote marks, because that designation just means that they managed to acquire a Syrian passport somewhere before they arrived in Germany. On New Year’s Eve there were simultaneous attacks on women by large groups of “southern-looking” men in at least seven major German cities. Most of the news stories have been about Cologne, but similar events occurred n Stuttgart, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and other cities. The modus operandi was the same everywhere: massive numbers of young Middle Eastern or North African men, gathering suddenly as if it had been planned in advance, and harassing, robbing, groping, molesting, and even raping young women who were out for the evening’s celebrations.

Ivan Jurcevic is a Croatian immigrant who works as a doorman (or perhaps a bouncer) at a hotel on the Hauptbahnhof Platz in Cologne. On New Year’s Eve (Silvester) he had a front row seat for the culturally enriched events that have now become notorious throughout Germany and the rest of the Western world.

In the following interview, Mr. Jurcevic gives an account of what he witnessed that night, and how he did his best to help women who were menaced, harassed, and molested by the “youths” who took over the main train station.

American feminists, who have incited irrational hysteria over a non-existent “rape epidemic” on U.S. college campuses, will ignore this news. American feminists never said a word about the Rotherham Horror, in which English girls as young as 11 were pimped out by Muslim predators. American feminists don’t want to call attention to certain crimes committed by certain criminals, and it is not just Juanita Broaddrick’s rape accusation against Bill Clinton that feminists demand that we ignore. The feminist movement in the United States is controlled by the Democrat Party, and therefore rape is just a talking-point to them, an “issue” that feminists help Democrats exploit for partisan purposes. Because feminists are dishonest partisans, their agenda requires a lot of deliberate falsification — the phony “1-in-5” statistic, the UVA rape hoax, etc. — and it also requires feminists to ignore a lot of actual rapes which do not fit the Democrat Party-approved propaganda narrative.

The news about what happened last Thursday night in Cologne is still the top story in Germany, and is also drawing attention in the rest of Europe (see the previous post). The behavior of Cologne’s culture-enrichers was so blatant, so criminal, and so, well, ethnic, that the real story of the evening’s events can no longer be suppressed.

The Isis militant group is likely to be using chemical weapons against its enemies in Syria and Iraq, Russia has claimed, after evidence of exposure to deadly nerve agents was reported by the UN.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons said it was investigating 11 alleged chemical weapon attacks reported to it by the Syrian government, and that in at least one case blood samples suggested “exposure to sarin or a sarin-like substance”.

My, what a surpris! Aren’t you surprised? I’m sure surprised.

The mayor of Cologne has summoned police for crisis talks after about 80 women reported sexual assaults and muggings by men on New Year’s Eve.

The scale of the attacks on women at the city’s central railway station has shocked Germany. About 1,000 drunk and aggressive young men were involved.

City police chief Wolfgang Albers called it “a completely new dimension of crime”. The men were of Arab or North African appearance, he said.

Guess they haven’t been paying attention to what young Muslims do with female kuffir and have been for the last 20 years. Well, better late than never, I suppose.

Last Thursday night — New Year’s Eve — a large crowd of “refugees” gathered in the Hauptbahnhof, the main train station of Cologne, and took advantage of the loud revelry and fireworks to avail themselves the “uncovered meat” they saw in front of them heading for the platform or alighting from the trains. A wave of harassment, groping, molestation, theft, and reportedly even rape descended upon native German women unfortunate enough to be passing through the station at that time.

The crimes committed that evening in Cologne were so blatant, and so uniformly committed by the newly-arrived enrichers of German culture, that even the city authorities were forced to acknowledge the ethnic component of what had just occurred. To be cynical about it, maybe a councilor’s daughter or a relative of the mayor were among those molested, prompting a breaking of the taboo against the discussion of immigrant crime.

But is the tension entirely unwelcome to the Saudis? Goldman and others note that the Saudis are under considerably economic pressure because of low oil prices. Iranian oil coming on to the market soon will put more downward pressure on oil prices at least in the short term. What better way to prop up oil prices than to ramp up the political risk premium, which serves the interests of both Saudi Arabia and Iran. A new war in the Gulf would do wonders for oil prices. Farfetched perhaps, but stranger things happen in the Middle East. Everyone ought to regard the surface accounts of the media about what is going on with a great deal of suspicion.

We could do worse that a serious Sunni-Shi’ite war in the Gulf, as happened in the ’80s. American shale oil would start being profitable again, and the jihadis would have something closer to home to occupy their minds.

The culture-enriching gentleman in this video is one of the Syrian “refugees” who arrived in Germany last year. In his home country he must have been a prosperous man of high social standing, because he had four wives. In order to get them into Germany with him, he had to lie to the authorities. But that’s OK, because lying in order to advance the cause of Islam is sanctioned by the Koran and all four schools of Sunni jurisprudence, as well as in the Shi’ite version of the fiqh. And it definitely advances the cause of Islam to take all your wives and children with you to a kuffar country (and make more Muslim children when you get there), all while being supported by the infidel taxpayers’ money.
