Al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen has threatened the Saudi government over its plan to carry out a mass execution of prisoners, including al-Qaeda members, the militant group announced in a statement posted on social media.

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), one of the deadliest branches of the global militant network, said it was aware of Saudi intentions to execute its members in Saudi prisons and pledged to carry out attacks in response.

A prominent Kurdish lawyer and rights activist, who faced criminal charges for defending Kurdish rebels as not terrorists, has been shot in the head and killed in Turkey.

Tahir Elci, 49, was caught in a gun battle between police and unidentified gunmen as he delivered a statement calling for an end to violence between the Turkish state and Kurdish rebel group the PKK.

Two policemen were also killed in the shoot-out in Turkey’s south eastern city of Diyarbakir, with another 11 people injured.

If the Russians want to smash Turkey, I have no objection.

An Indian woman has allegedly been divorced by her husband by text message after confessing to being gang raped.

The woman, who remains unnamed, said she received a message saying “talaq” three times after telling her husband about the incident, according to The Daily Mail.

Sharia law states men can divorce their wives instantly by repeating the word “talaq”, or “I divorce you”, to her three times.

Saadiq Long is one data point in the quest for narratives. In 2013, liberal journalists wove the facts of Saadiq Long into the greater narrative that the United States was still an oppressive regime under Barack Obama. The “no fly list” was but one example, and Saadiq Long was on the no fly list. The cause of Saadiq Long was championed by MSNBC, Glenn Greenwald, Mother Jones magazine, and more.

As Patrick Poole at PJ Media reported last week, back in 2013, Saadiq Long wanted to return to his native Oklahoma to visit his ailing mother. Long had moved to Qatar and could not get home because he was on the “no fly list.” The media pressure eventually led the Obama Administration to remove Long from the “no fly list,” but he was eventually added back. Last week, Long was arrested in Turkey as part of an ISIS cell.

As successive European countries impose strict border controls, it’s like a series of watertight doors closing along the route that “Syrian” “refugees” take to get to Germany. When one state blocks the flow and slows it to a trickle, the migrants back up at that border, forcing the host country to follow the same strategy.

The following report shows the backup at the border between Greece and Macedonia. The latter has recently tightened up its border, so that crowds of migrants are now encamped at the crossing, angrily waiting to be allowed to proceed onwards towards their destination. This video is a skillful combination of drone and ground-level footage, with no voice-over or commentary.

Syria was basically ruled by a Coalition of the Minority Fringes (Alawite on top, Shiite, Christian, Yezidi, Kurd, etc.) over the Core (the Sunni majority). That’s not very democratic in the old-fashioned Andrew Jackson sense of the Democratic Party that emphasized majority rule. But it’s rather like the new-fangled Barack Obama sense of the Democratic Party that emphasizes minority rights.

The happy ending would have been if the majority Sunnis had matured into a well-educated, reasonable, pragmatic people ready for the responsibilities of self-rule.

That actually has happened a few times in history. To take a local example, my very vague impression is that the Kurds have been maturing politically and have been acting in this century with restraint and intelligent purpose in a neighborhood where those commodities have been unfortunately rare. (Warning: Optimism about any aspect of the Middle East usually turns out to be unwarranted.)

Unfortunately, judging by the rise of ISIS there’s not much evidence that the Sunnis are on a similar trajectory. And that’s what has made disastrous Obama’s call for the overthrow of the internationally recognized Syrian government and its replacement by Moderate Islam, an outdated delusion of the Obama-Dunham-Soetoro clan.

According to Udo Ulfkotte, the waves of “Syrian” “refugees” now flooding into Austria and Germany are being used as cover for the organized importation of weapons, underage sex slaves, and other criminal activities.

There are many reasons why Belgium has become a hotbed of radical Islamism. Some of the answers may lie in the implanting of Saudi Salafist preachers in the country from the 1960s.

Keen to secure oil contracts, Belgium’s King Baudouin made an offer to Saudi King Faisal, who had visited Brussels in 1967: Belgium would set up a mosque in the capital, and hire Gulf-trained clerics.

Not a good idea. But money often blinds those to whom religion is merely a hobby that others take it more seriously.

Although the mosque was treated as the official voice of Muslims in Belgium, its radical Salafist teachings came from a very different tradition to the Islam of the new immigrants. Today, there are around 600,000 people of Moroccan and Turkish origin in Belgium, a country of 11 million.

And, I suspect, they are now regretting it. But maybe not — Europe is not what it was.

Still, perhaps there is hope that people there are starting to wake up, as this article in a British newspaper suggests might be happening.

According to the following news report from Colombia, the case of Seham Al Salkhadi is just one of many instances in which Syrian mujahideen have used fake or stolen documents to travel from Latin America to destinations in the United States or Europe.

Last Saturday in Paris, at the Boulevard Voltaire near the Bataclan club, I found myself staring at a pool of blood. I wondered what was happening with the world, and refocused my camera on the aftermath of the terror. When it became clear the attacks were planned in Molenbeek, I was not surprised. The real surprise? That Belgium expressed shock at the connection.

I was part of a new wave of young urban professionals, mostly white and college-educated — what the Belgians called bobo, (“bourgeois bohémiens”) — who settled in the area out of pragmatism. We had good intentions. Our contractor’s name was Hassan. He was Moroccan, and we thought that was very cool. We imagined that our kids would one day play happily with his on the street. We hoped for less garbage on the streets, less petty crime. We were confident our block would slowly improve, and that our lofts would increase in value. (We even dared to hope for a hip art gallery or a trendy bar.) We felt like pioneers of the Far West, like we were living in the trenches of the fight for a multicultural society.

Slowly, we woke up to reality. Hassan turned out to be a crook and disappeared with €95,000, the entire budget the tenants had pooled together for our building’s renovation. The neighborhood was hardly multicultural. Rather, with roughly 80 percent of the population of Moroccan origin, it was tragically conformist and homogenous. There may be a vibrant alternative culture in Casablanca and Marrakech, but certainly not in Molenbeek.

The Paris terrorists attacks occurred during a six day period of “international” soccer matches — i.e., contests between national teams. In fact, one of the attacks was directed at the Stade de France, where France was hosting Germany.

During the remaining matches, there was supposed to be a minute of silence in honor of the victims of the Paris attacks. Unfortunately, this was too much to ask of many Muslim soccer fans.

Islamist fanatic Abu Izzadeen has said he wants to be deported back to the UK after complaining about the quality of food in custody in Hungary.

The extremist, whose real name is Trevor Brooks, was caught on a train heading for Romania on Saturday along with another fanatic, Simon Keeler.

The pair was allegedly in breach of travel restrictions that say they are not allowed to leave the UK without permission.

After every terrorist attack committed by mass murderers who have nothing to do with Islam, ordinary Muslims all over the world (who presumably also have nothing to do with Islam) take to the streets to celebrate. Some hand out candy to passers-by, others fire automatic weapons into the air, and still others drive their cars madly around in circles while gesticulating and honking.

That last form of celebration was on display in Brussels last week the day after the massacre in Paris. A Polish resident of Brussels took the following video, and offered some brief commentary while recording it.

We hear so often about Muslims as victims of abuse in the West and combatants in the Arab Spring’s fight against tyranny. But, in fact, a wholly different kind of war is underway—an unrecognized battle costing thousands of lives. Christians are being killed in the Islamic world because of their religion. It is a rising genocide that ought to provoke global alarm.

The portrayal of Muslims as victims or heroes is at best partially accurate. In recent years the violent oppression of Christian minorities has become the norm in Muslim-majority nations stretching from West Africa and the Middle East to South Asia and Oceania. In some countries it is governments and their agents that have burned churches and imprisoned parishioners. In others, rebel groups and vigilantes have taken matters into their own hands, murdering Christians and driving them from regions where their roots go back centuries.

Consider Whitemoor prison in Cambridgeshire: it recently became the first Muslim-majority prison in Britain. Between the ages of 22 and 39, Muslims now represent 56 per cent of the population there. “Prisoners and staff found the Muslim presence overwhelming” says a recent report. Non-Muslims “were often bullied into converting to Islam, and those who resisted were too scared to cook pork in communal kitchens in case it caused offence.”

It’s a religion tailor-made for violent felons. Mohammed himself was a brigand and mass-murderer; they feel right at home.

As for those non-Muslim inmates who refuse to convert, they are being pressured to pay a “protection tax”—or in Islamic parlance, jizya—to Muslim gangs. Along with Whitemoor prison, the collection of jizya is taking place in at least three other of Britain’s largest prisons.

All perfectly according to the Koran. Obviously they don’t really understand Islam.

In fact, it is the Koran, Islam’s holy book, that calls for the collection of jizya from subdued Christians and Jews:

Fight those among the People of the Book [Christians and Jews] who do not believe in Allah nor the Last Day, who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and who do not embrace the religion of truth [Islam], until they pay the jizya with willing submissiveness and feel themselves utterly subdued” (Koran 9:29).

In other words, Muslim prisoners are not copying ISIS; rather, both they and ISIS are obeying the Koran.

Oh, well, somebody around here doesn’t understand Islam. Who exactly that might be is left as an exercise for the reader.

The Government has released advice on what people should do in the event that they are caught up in a Paris-style gunman attack.

The instructions, from the National Counter Terrorism Policing Security Office, suggest anyone caught up in such an incident should try to “escape if you can” – and if this is not possible, to hide.

How about ‘shoot back’? Oh, yeah, they banned guns. Forget I even mentioned it.

Note that jihadists don’t try this shit in Texas.

In Aceh (westernmost Indonesia), the local government ordered several Christian churches to be shut down in October 2015.  This was the result of an effort to deal with Islamic intolerance of other religions by trying to use local councils, with clergy from all local faiths (usually Moslem, Christian and Hindu) working out and agreeing to who could build new churches where. The problem is that hardline Islamic clergy dominate in Aceh and make no secret of their desire to drive all other religions out of Aceh. The recent violence led to Islamic clergy leading mobs to burn down Christian churches they considered “intrusive” and illegal. The violence spread to local Christians and so far over 10,000 have fled their homes.

On the evening of Friday November 13th 2015, Paris was shaken by a coordinated series of extremely brutal Islamic terror attacks that left at least 129 people dead and hundreds wounded. It is strongly suspected that the Jihadist group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was behind these bloody attacks against multiple targets in the French capital.^[1] This happened after the city had barely recovered from the Islamic massacre on the staff of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo some months earlier.

BEDFORD, United Kingdom – As the distressing attacks in Paris were occurring last night, some of Britain’s most high profile and notorious Islamist extremists gathered just north of London, unimpeded, to tell hundreds of British Muslims to “struggle” for an “Islamic State.” Breitbart London was there.

At the “Quiz a Muslim” event held last night in the Corn Exchange in Bedford, panelists called British values “junk,” demanded that Muslims should “define” British law, and ominously appeared to suggest Muslims were at war with the British.

The event was organised and chaired by Bedford-born blogger Dilly Hussain, an avid Islamist and a supporter of a global Islamic caliphate.

This could get amusing.

U.S. counterterrorism officials reported in February that more than 20,000 foreign fighters have joined the fray in Syria to fight with the rebels, with most going to help the Islamic State. Of these, 150 or so are from the United States and over 3,000 are from the West.

According to British scholar Peter Neumann, the Syria conflict has generated more foreign fighters than Afghanistan, post-2003 Iraq, Somalia, Mali and other fields of jihad combined.

Doesn’t seem like the Obama Doctrine is helping very much.

Could we please skip the empty bravado? This is a time for grief above all else, and a time to refrain from soundbites and posturing. France – our closest neighbour, oldest friend, beloved rival, what Philip Sidney called ‘that sweet enemy’ – France is stricken, and we should weep with her.

Over the past 40 years or so, most of us have heard quite enough politicians and others pledging to stand firm against terror, hunt down the vile perpetrators, ensure that it never happens again, and the rest.

Then there have been the emergency meetings of grandly titled committees, the crackdowns, the increased surveillance, the billions spent on spying and snooping, not to mention the various wars on terror which have certainly killed a lot of our troops, but never seem to make us any safer. It is remarkably hard to defend yourself against an enemy whose language few of us speak, yet who speaks ours and can move freely in our world, and who is willing, even happy, to die at our hands – or his own – if he can kill us first.

Meanwhile, many of the demands of terror, from the IRA to the Palestinians, have been quietly met. And the extraordinary connections between our supposed ally Saudi Arabia and the worst terrorist incident of all – September 11, 2001 in New York – have been politely ignored.

Hey, we need that Saudi money — and that Saudi oil.

Consider the Tsarnaev Bomb Brothers, who were admitted as refugees when children. Dad Tsarnaev, an auto mechanic, is not great addition to America, but at least he’s not a homicidal maniac. In contrast, growing up in Cambridge, MA, surrounded by patriotic Republican rednecks, it was only natural for the oppressed younger Tsarnaevs to blow up the Boston Marathon.

Yeah, that assimilation thing really works with Muslims. (Not….)

Marie Hermanova, the spokeswoman for a team of Czech volunteers who have been working with the migrants, said her group was bracing for a rising anti-migrant mood.

“What happened in Paris on Friday night is happening in Syria every day, and it is exactly why those people are running away,” she said. “Our volunteers are extremely unhappy about the wave of hate this will likely release.”

The wave of hate has been going on for 1400 years, in the opposite direction. Too bad the ‘volunteers’ are ignoring it.

“We should not blame the migrants,” said Mr. Zitmanis, a construction engineer. “If we help them more, the risk of a terror attack happening again would be less.”

Yeah, there’s really a lot of evidence supporting that position. Oh, wait….

Now we see the violence inherent in the system — the system being Islam.

There is no such thing as ‘Islamophobia’ – a ‘phobia’ is an irrational fear, and the fear of Islam is extremely rational.
