Ludwigshafen is a city in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Yesterday at lunchtime a young Somali culture-enricher went on a stabbing rampage that left two people dead and another seriously wounded.

Early news reports about the incident said the perpetrator’s motive was unknown. Since then it has emerged that the high-spirited youngster attempted to dismember and slit the throats of at least some of his victims, and shouted “Allahu Akhbar” during the act. The Palestinian government is still paying imprisoned terrorists stipends and inciting violence against Israel, even as the Biden administration provides nearly half a billion dollars in American taxpayer funds to the government, according to a non-public State Department report recently furnished to Congress.

The Palestinian Authority, which committed to stop these acts to receive new tranches of U.S. aid money, “continued payments to Palestinian prisoners who had committed acts of terrorism, as well as the families of so-called ‘martyrs’ who died while committing acts of terrorism,” according to the report, a copy of which was reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. Official Palestinian government media organizations and social media accounts also “broadcast or published content praising or celebrating acts of violence.”

A Saudi court sentenced three members of the Howeitat, a tribe forcibly ejected to make way for the $500 bn Neom megacity, to death earlier this month for resisting displacement, a UK-based rights group has reported.

Shadli, Atallah, and Ibrahim al-Howeiti were arrested in 2020 for opposing the eviction of their tribe for the project and were handed down death sentences on 2 October by Saudi Arabia’s Specialised Criminal Court, according to UK-based rights group Alqst.

“We condemn the sentences and call for their release,” Alqst said in a tweet.

Shadli al-Huweiti is the brother of Abdul Rahim al-Howeiti, a 43-year-old Tabuk resident who was shot dead by Saudi special forces in April 2020 after protesting the government’s eviction orders, including in videos he regularly posted to YouTube.

The men’s death sentences are only the latest in a series of extreme rulings recently handed down by Saudi courts to those who have expressed dissent.

A gay Palestinian man who was living under asylum in Israel was allegedly kidnapped and brought to the West Bank, where he was beheaded Wednesday, according to Israeli media reports.

Ahmad Abu Murkhiyeh, 25, had reportedly been living in Israel for two years and seeking resettlement to Canada because of threats to his life over his sexual orientation. But on Wednesday, Abu Murkhiyeh was beheaded in the West Bank city of Hebron. The victim’s friends told media outlets he was kidnapped from Israel and taken to the Palestinian city, though his family said he regularly visited them in Hebron.

Back in August I posted about a “French” imam named Hassan Iquioussen who went on the lam to avoid being deported. It seems Mr. Iquioussen had run afoul of French law by giving voice to Jew-hatred, calling for the subjugation of women, promoting sharia, and other orthodox Islamic theological positions.

The expulsion order mentions that Imam Iquioussen espouses doctrines that represent “a vision of Islam contrary to the values of the Republic.” Unfortunately for the Republic, all Islamic doctrines, if faithfully observed, are contrary to its values. Evidently the courts are unaware of this fact.

Now Mr. Iquioussen has been recaptured in Belgium.

Iranian authorities say they will restrict internet access in the country until calm is restored to the streets, as protests over the death of a young woman in the custody of the morality police rock the Islamic Republic.

Thousands of Iranians have taken to the streets in protest since the death last week of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who was apprehended in Tehran and taken to a “re-education center,” apparently for not wearing her hijab properly.

Among shooting suspects, 85 percent are first- or second-generation immigrants, according to the newspaper Dagens Nyheter, as immigrant neighborhoods have become hotbeds for gang crime. National Police Commissioner Anders Thornberg has described the violence as “an entirely different kind of brutality than we’ve seen before” and his deputy, Mats Löfving, says that 40 criminal clans now operate throughout the country. Spreading fear are “humiliation robberies,” targeting children and youth, in which victims are subjected to degrading treatment by assailants, such as being urinated upon. Just this week, four men were sentenced for robbing, beating and urinating on an 18-year-old, who was also filmed by his tormentors.

Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi walked away from his first-ever interview on U.S. soil because the interviewer, CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, said she would not wear an Islamic headscarf.

Amanpour, who also hosts a show for PBS, on Wednesday wrote on Twitter that she was ready to interview Raisi in New York City “after weeks of planning and eight hours of setting up.” Forty minutes after Raisi was supposed to show up, a presidential aide told Amanpour that she could not interview Raisi without a headscarf.

She refused, and Raisi pulled out from the interview.

A fifth day of protests in Iran have resulted in multiple deaths amid a security crackdown, following the death last week of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old from Iranian Kurdistan who reportedly died due to being roughed up by police for “unsuitable attire” – or not conforming to Islamic Republic standards of a hijab.

Iranian officials say seven people have died since protests erupted Saturday, following Amini’s funeral, where women began removing their headscarves in protest, sometimes burning them in public displays of defiance. Demonstrators have decried instances of what they say is ‘live fire’ tactics and deadly forced used by police to disperse the protests, which have now spread across several provinces.

It was a powerful act of defiance Tuesday night in the Iranian city of Kerman, where women are required to wear hijabs (or headscarves) in public, as outrage over the death of a woman in police custody fuels protests across the country.

Iran will use cash assets provided by the Biden administration as part of a new nuclear accord to fund regional terror groups and enhance the capabilities of a militant network committed to assassinating U.S. officials, according to written testimony to Congress from a top U.S. military commander exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Gen. Joni Ernst (R., Iowa) after a public hearing before Congress.

In addition to boosting Iran’s terror allies like the Houthi rebels in Yemen, sanctions relief will enable Tehran to expand its Iranian Threat Network, a group of terror cells run by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’s Quds Force that is focused on assassinating American officials, according to Townsend.

Turkey continues its path of international aggression and embrace of Islamist ideas. As the Western world grapples with the effects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Turkey is directly threatening to invade Greece, a fellow NATO member.

During a Sept. 3 speech at an aerial technology festival in Samsun, eastern Turkey, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan explicitly threatened that the Turkish army will “come down suddenly one night” in the Greek isles of the Eastern Aegean The phrase is taken from a song referring to Turkey’s 1974 invasion of Cyprus, a state with an ethnic Greek majority, and is an allusion to an invasion of Greece. Erdogan has used the same phrase to refer to possible military intervention in Syria and Iraq against Kurdish militants.

According to the state-run Anadolu news agency, Erdogan questioned Greece’s territorial sovereignty over its islands in the eastern Aegean Sea: “Athens’ occupying islands does not bind us. When [the] time comes, we will do what’s necessary.”

I posted last month about the trial of a young female convert to Islam in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. The young lady in question had wanted to do jihad like the guys, only better, so she stabbed two women in a department store in Lugano. She has now been convicted in a Swiss court.

If this had been Sweden, she would probably have received a suspended sentence of six months with two years’ probation. Switzerland, however, threw the book at her: she has been sentenced to nine years in a mental health facility.

On Bastille Day of 2016, a 31-year-old Tunisian named Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel deliberately drove his truck into a crowd of people celebrating France’s national day in Nice. A total of 86 people were killed. The attacker was killed by police. Eight people are currently on trial in Paris, charged with aiding the terrorist.

Today, police in the French town of Auxerre in the Yonne Department arrested a 20-year-old man for disseminating hateful messages on social media against the victims of that attack, and supporting the attack itself.

The commander of Iran’s Army Ground Forces said his country now has a drone capable of reaching two of Israel’s largest cities.

Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari said the Arash 2 drone specifically was designed to attack Haifa and Tel Aviv, the Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported. He added that the military was awaiting orders to start using the drones.

“Today, we have drones with a strategic range and also a drone with a range of 2,000 kilometers [1,243 miles],” Heidari said. “Of course, we also have drones with lower ranges in our stockpiles.”

9/13 means we’ve done it. We fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s time to move on now. Maybe take a day to remember the people who died in the towers, in a field, bow our heads and go on with what really matters today.

What’s the alternative? Fighting a forever war?

Iran has long been known as a silencer of dissenting voices, but even by its standards the jailing in mid-August of a 63-year-old man with advanced Parkinson’s disease, and his wife, came as a surprise.

Last week, a 58-year-old man and 48-year-old woman joined them in Tehran’s Evin Prison. And apart from their senior years, these four Iranians have one crucial thing in common: they profess to be Christians.

Yet the quartet also possess one crucial difference: in the regime’s eyes, only one of them can truly be considered a Christian.

Fifty-eight-year-old Joseph Shahbazian is of Armenian descent and as such is considered to be “ethnically Christian”.

The other three — 63-year-old Homayoun Zhaveh, his 44-year-old wife Sara, and 48-year-old Malihe Nazari — are ethnic Persians, and this, in the regime’s eyes, means that they were born Muslims, and remain so, regardless of what they may have since come to believe.

The similarities and differences between these four Iranians — and their shared predicament — show clearly that, in the Islamic Republic, neither recognised nor unrecognised Christians are free to act out their beliefs.

Mandiant has named a new threat group, APT42, that it says functions as the cyberspy arm of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which has plotted to murder US citizens including former National Security Advisor John Bolton.

While its financial backers turn their attention to assasination attempts and other terrorist activities, APT42 favors selective spear-phishing to target corporate and personal email accounts, according to the Google-owned threat intel business.

The Catalunyan police arrested a Moroccan resident of Empuriabrava (Girona) who was ready to commit an attack in Spain. This is a man who had already completed his process of jihadist radicalization, in which, stressed an inspector of the General Commissariat of Investigation of the Catalan police in statements to El Periodico, he had integrated arguments defending the use of violence against those he considers enemies, and had the intent to carry out a violent act.

The Israeli military said that Palestinian gunmen opened fire on a bus in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, wounding six soldiers, one of them seriously, and a civilian.

A prominent French official fears that his country will soon be the target of an Islamic extremist terror attack.

While speaking to French broadcaster BFM TV on Friday, Jean-Francois Ricard, France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor, warned that imminent acts of terror could be carried out “by individuals coming from areas where terrorists are operating, especially the Iraqi-Syrian area.”

The Mexican passport holders were flagged as part of a probe into passport fraud, and each identified individual will be further evaluated, the Free Beacon reported.

A senior DHS official told the outlet that the agency likely will investigate whether any of the individuals traveled to the U.S., and whether there are patterns in their travel.

“This investigation highlights that criminals often use legal travel to facilitate criminal activity,” the official told the Free Beacon. “The nexus to Mexico should cause the public and lawmakers to reflect on how a porous border can be even more dangerous.”

The Taliban’s Deputy Interior Minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali told reporters Sunday that “martyrdom brigades,” or suicide bomber units, are a part of the Taliban’s security forces and a source of “pride.”

At a press conference for the Ministry of Interior’s annual report, the Taliban official reportedly said that “the martyrdom brigades are an integral part of our Jihad and our source of pride, their small or large number is confidential, which we do not see it necessary to explain.”

According to Khaama Press, Afghan military and security forces have never before included suicide bomber units.

Heavy clashes erupted in Baghdad, killing almost 20 people on Monday, after powerful Shi’ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr said he would quit politics, prompting his loyalists to storm a government palace and fight with rival groups.

As night fell, machine-gun fire and explosions rang out, with tracer fire rising into the sky above the Green Zone that houses government headquarters and foreign embassies, in the worst fighting the Iraqi capital has seen in years.

Days of pro-Muqtada Sadr protests and unrest have reportedly resulted in Baghdad’s high secure Green Zone being breached Monday, placing international diplomatic missions and foreign embassies under threat.

AFP is reporting that an exchange of gunfire has been observed as dozens or possibly hundreds of supporters riot, with police using riot control measures like water cannons to repel an attack on the Green Zone. There are unconfirmed reports that the sprawling and iconic Iraqi Republican Palace has been forcibly breached with protesters inside.

Last Friday afternoon a young “Belgian” drove his van at high speed into the tables of a café terrace in Brussels, injuring six people. The youthful mujahid was relatively incompetent in his jihad, since none of his victims required hospitalization. 81 years after the Mufti of Jerusalem visited Hitler and asked him to kill all the Jews, Mahmoud Abbas, his current successor as leader of the “Palestinian” cause, arrived in Berlin.

We’ve been reporting for more than ten years on the activities of the German Islam critic Michael Stürzenberger, who is most famous for his presentations on Islam staged on Saturdays in downtown Munich.

Mr. Stürzenberger has been prosecuted multiple times for his “hate speech”, and is no stranger to physical attacks at the hands of angry Muslims. In the past I’ve posted at least one video of him being beaned with a rock by an irate culture-enricher.
