Police shot at a man they say evaded the subway fare at the Sutter Avenue L train station in Brownsville on Sunday afternoon, injuring him along with an officer and two others, according to the NYPD. One bystander, police said. was struck in the head and listed in critical condition.

NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey said officers were patrolling the station shortly after 3 p.m. when they observed a 37-year-old man enter the station without paying the fare. The officers followed him up three flights of stairs, leading to a confrontation. The altercation resulted in injuries to the officer, the suspect, and two civilians — a 49-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, officials said.

Police said the 49-year-old man was struck in the head and in critical condition on Sunday evening, while the officer, suspect and 26-year-old woman were reported to be in stable condition.

What do Napoleon, America’s Army War College and the liberal media have in common? The centuries-old belief that conscription is the “vitality of the nation”. With the US military hamstrung by a catastrophic personnel problem, the “draft” is being handed a new lease of life. Maybe, murmurs the DC think-tank circuit, conscription could provide America with the proverbial shot in the arm it needs: polarised internally and beset by a multitude of external challenges, the expedient of compelling young Americans to pick up rifles in service to their nation could kill two birds with one stone.

But almost all discussion of conscription today falls into a standard narrative, a just-so story that is both simple to grasp and seductively credible. America could have a draft if it wanted to, the story goes: no doubt it would work and be effective. The problem, however, is that people have grown too self-absorbed for such harsh measures. Previous generations worked hard and sacrificed willingly, while kids these days just want to play videogames.

Such a narrative is increasingly dangerous. The fatal issue with a potential draft is not that people would get very angry about it — though it’s fair to say that they probably would. The entire reason America abandoned the draft in the Seventies was because the Vietnam War was slowly tearing society apart, leading to protests, riots, and an epidemic of enlisted soldiers murdering their own officers. Any attempt to reinstate conscription would likely bring with it a “Vietnam syndrome” far worse than the original one. But in some ways that is beside the point.

Conscription is a cornerstone of socialism and other totalitarian political systems.

Murders across New York City’s subway system have surged by a shocking 60% so far this year, even as overall crime on the rails has dipped, leaving straphangers increasingly terrified for their safety.

According to NYPD data, eight people have been slaughtered on subway cars or in stations as of September 8, up from just five during the same period last year. The surge in killings is closing in on the 25-year high set in 2022, which saw ten murders in the transit system—a grim milestone unseen since 1997. For over two decades, from 1997 to 2020, the city never recorded more than five subway murders in a single year, the NY Post reports.

The Center for Gender & Refugee Studies has spent years battling on behalf of illegal alien invaders. Earlier, Freedom Center Investigates exposed how the lawfare group housed at a University of California law school provides full service open borders support.

“During Trump, my CGRS colleagues and I expended a tremendous amount of energy challenging the anti-immigrant policies that were issued on what seemed like an almost daily basis,” Karen Musalo, the CGRS founding director, boasted.

The Center also offers a database of “expert witnesses” willing to testify on behalf of the ‘refugee’ claims of border invaders. It urges licensed medical or mental health personnel to register to “support asylum seekers with forensic mental or physical evaluations.”

Who funds the CRGS open borders lawfare? Many of those who fund it don’t even know it.

CGRS is one of the radical leftist groups that benefits from interest seized from trust accounts controlled by lawyers and redistributed to some of the most extreme groups around.

As a general rule, avoiding California and Californians is a good plan.

Police shot and killed a man inside a Brooklyn apartment on Friday evening whom they said they were seeking in connection with three recent homicides. The incident marks the 12th fatal NYPD shooting this year, according to data tracked by Gothamist.

Police identified the man as 38-year-old Vilmond Jean Baptiste and said officers fatally shot him just before 5:30 p.m. at 485 East 21st St. in Flatbush. Members of the NYPD’s fugitive enforcement unit arrived at the apartment with an open-bench warrant for Baptiste, according to officials. When police entered the apartment, they found Baptiste in a bathtub fully dressed in a hoodie, the NYPD said.

Officers instructed Baptiste to get out of the bathtub when they saw he was holding a knife, Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey said at a press conference on Friday night. They told him to drop the knife but he did not comply, according to Maddrey.

A sergeant at the scene tried to deploy his Taser to immobilize Baptise, but the effort did not work, Maddrey said. He said Baptiste at that point “jumped out of the tub and advanced on the officers.”

That will get you shot in most places. Stupidity is generally a capital crime. Think of it as evolution in action.

This story is, in itself, worth very little. People gather in cities; among those who gather are crazy people; crazy people often do crazy things; sometimes those crazy things get them shot by police.

I suspect, from the victim’s name and the location of the shooting, that he was Haitian. Of course, in these Woke times, any inquiry into the background of an alleged criminal, much less any revelation of that knowledge to the reading public, is Not Allowed if said alleged criminal is a member (or perceived member) of one of the plethora of Fashionable Victim Groups that hand-wringers just love to wring their hands about.

And, of course, crowds of Activists gather when such things occur, not because they’re just the traditional rubberneckers that customarily gather whenever something unusual occurs among the People Gathered In Cities, but because Activists are always on the hunt for things to be Activist about, such as a member of a Fashionable Victim Group getting inconvenienced (properly or not) by any Minions Of The Man, even when The Man and his (her? its?) minions are also members of a similar Fashionable Victim Group.

I predict that there will be Activists flocking to cameras, TV and Influencer, to decry a member of a Fashionable Victim Group being inconvenienced (properly or not), because that’s what Activists do. It doesn’t matter whether he was guilty or innocent–what matters is to what Political Tribe he can be useful.

If all goes well, Stefano Maffulli, the OSI’s executive director, expects to announce the OSI open source AI definition at All Things Open in late October. But some open source leaders already want nothing to do with it.

The long-awaited European Vaccination Card (EVC) is finally here — the pilot project is about to be rolled out in five countries. What was considered a “conspiracy theory” a few years ago is now a publicly acknowledged fact.

The following video from The Netherlands discusses the implementation of the new digital vaccination card, more commonly known as a “vax passport”. As expected, it is being marketed for its “convenience”. Some of its notable features are:

• It can’t be falsified. Unlike the “yellow booklet”, it can’t be faked. Or, more accurately, it will be much harder to fake — you’ll have to pay a lot of money to a technically savvy accomplice (or a skilled hacker) to spoof a digital vaccine passport for you.
• It will be mandatory. It will no longer be optional; you will have to have an EVC if you want to travel. Yes, that violates the European Charter on the Fundamental Rights of the EU, but we don’t need no stinkin’ fundamental rights, do we?
• Vaccination records are just the beginning. The new passport will be expanded to include all health data, and will presumably eventually be merged with the Universal Digital ID.
• Centralized control is being removed from Brussels and transferred to the WHO. Like it or not, the UN is now in charge of the health of European citizens.

An American version will probably take a little longer to implement, but I’m certain the Powers That Be are working on it. It may take another “pandemic” to get the ball rolling. Or maybe a little bit of nuclear war, just to make sure.

‘Vigilante’ organizations are always a response to government failing to do it’s primary job, keep the peace.

Many of us on the Right are aware of the war being waged on European Union member states’ sovereignty behind the scenes, but far fewer can account for exactly how it is happening. Why do capitals seem increasingly weak at defending their interests every year, despite the lack of obvious structural reforms being implemented that would explain this encroachment?

That’s why the renowned conservative think tank MCC Brussels has published a new report entitled “The Silent Coup: the European Commission’s power grab.” It was written by British journalist Thomas Fazi, the author of such books as The Battle for Europe: How an Elite Hijacked a Continent—and How We Can Take It Back (2014), and The Covid Consensus: The Global Assault on Democracy and the Poor—A Critique from the Left (2023).

In short, supply and demand have been replaced by judges and labor boards with the authority to deem which jobs are “equal” and therefore should be paid equally. And the labor boards do so based on vague and subjective considerations that do not change with changing circumstances. Imagine replacing “jobs” with “condiments” and having judges decide whether ketchup and mustard should be priced equally because they are similar, broadly comparable, or rated equivalent in terms of the effort, skill, and decision-making that went into their production.

Europe is facing a widespread voter revolt. This wave of discontent is not an isolated phenomenon but a common thread running through the continent—a collective frustration with leadership that appears more interested in enforcing rigid regulations and promoting ideological agendas than in solving real-world problems.

It is clear that the backlash stems from a disconnect between lawmakers and the everyday struggles of citizens. The technocratic elite have prioritized centralized control over the sovereignty and unique needs of member states, while elected officials remain blind. This disconnection has fueled the rise of populist and eurosceptic movements, which will only continue to grow, driven by the electorate’s increasing dissatisfaction.

The ongoing migrant crisis is perhaps the most glaring example of the EU’s technocratic mismanagement. Rather than crafting practical, locally tailored solutions that respect member states’ sovereignty and address security concerns, Brussels has consistently imposed top-down mandates. In Italy, the success of right-wing parties like Brothers of Italy and the League can be directly linked to the electorate’s dissatisfaction with EU-imposed migration policies. Yet European leaders remain puzzled, seeking scapegoats rather than acknowledging the obvious erosion of confidence caused by their own wayward leadership.

On the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, it’s appropriate to ask: Are we safer today than we were before September 11, 2001? Unfortunately, the answer to that all-important question is no. A similar attack on the American homeland is more likely now than at any time since 2001.

This is not just my assessment as the former acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security—members of the Biden-Harris Administration have reached similar conclusions. In March, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines warned that terrorism is “evolving,” and in April, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned of “the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland.” In June, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas observed “a resurgence in recruiting of ISIS, ISIS’s public communications and efforts to galvanize individuals to divide us.”

What should especially concern the American people is the urgency of these statements.

The Washington Post confirms “incidents of looting and vandalism” in Georgetown, City Center, and other parts of Washington, DC, in the overnight hours.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) released a statement that said, “Overnight, groups of individuals decided to destroy property and burglarize businesses throughout our city, specifically in the City Center and Georgetown areas, along with a store in the H Street Corridor, a store in Logan Circle, and a store north of Columbia Heights.”

The European Union executive branch, the European Commission, is preparing to punish Slovakia’s sovereigntist government for its alleged violations of the rule of law, according to stories appearing in Slovak media and Bloomberg.

If the plan moves forward, the country would become the third EU member state, after Poland and Hungary, whose funds are frozen as a punishment for going against Brussels’ mainstream ideological lines.

The city of Springfield, Ohio – population 60,000, has been overwhelmed by roughly 20,000 Haitian illegal migrants, who flocked to the city – exacerbating a ‘significant housing crisis’ according to city officials, and eating pets and wildlife according to locals.

Grade inflation at American universities is out of control. The statistics speak for themselves. In 1950, the average GPA at Harvard was estimated at 2.6 out of 4. By 2003, it had risen to 3.4. Today, it stands at 3.8.

The more elite the college, the more lenient the standards. At Yale, for example, 80% of grades awarded in 2023 were As or A minuses. But the problem is also prevalent at less selective colleges. Across all four-year colleges in the U.S., the most commonly awarded grade is now an A.

Some professors and departments, especially in STEM disciplines, have managed to uphold more stringent criteria. A few advanced courses attract such a self-selecting cohort of students that virtually all of them deserve recognition for genuinely excellent work. But for the most part, the grading scheme at many institutions has effectively become useless. An A has stopped being a mark of special academic achievement.

In the first seven days of September, German police responded to more than 100 crimes occurred in which a knife was used. This is according to a new website called Messerinzidenz (Knife Incidence), which analyses police reports daily to create a live knife crime tracker. The frequency and severity of this now-common crime makes clear that ‘isolated incidents’ add up to a chilling reality.

Numerous knife attacks occur on Germany’s streets every day—but most of them are not even recorded by the media. In order to make the number of daily knife attacks more visible, a developer has now published an interactive map of Germany on which new cases are recorded in real time and displayed geographically and with source references.

What will the destruction of humanity look like? First and foremost, it will involve the separation of humans from their soul. Most “sheep types” will not find this to be a threat, as the “soul” is not a real thing to them, it is an abstraction, a made-up religious word that most of them probably do not even believe exists (getting people to this state was one of the first efforts of the agenda). This soul detachment will take place in a variety of ways, and many of these methods are in place right now. You know what they are, I need not take up space here and list all of them.

The transhuman movement is probably one of the most prominent methods of soul detachment. Medical technological advancement is the primary culprit in this currently successful movement. Again, I need not explain how this is happening, but most people do not care, and if they care at all, they typically are all for it as it means to them a longer human life (or I should say, “longer physical existence”—let me leave the word “life” out of it). Maybe even an existence with less physical suffering.

So why does any of this matter?

Brampton, Ontario, situated in the sprawling outer suburbs of the Greater Toronto Area, is in many ways your typical Canadian city: rows and rows of middle-class houses with verdant lawns line quiet streets, with strip-mall parking lots and big-box stores in between. That it has been for years a majority non-white city, with South Asians accounting for over half the population, speaks to the success of Canada’s classical immigration regime. For even as Brampton grew more ethnically diverse, its orderly if monotonous suburban social template remained the same, attesting to the motto of late Ontario Tory premier and Brampton legend Bill Davis: bland works.

Lately, however, another set of immigration policy trendlines have begun to alter the town’s pacific character. Demonstrations consisting of more recent arrivals, also from South Asia, can now be seen in Brampton, protesting the prospect of their deportation. Though they came to Canada either with temporary worker or student visas, they believe themselves entitled to permanent residency; some of these students are even protesting their own failing grades! That their presence in the country — amounting to a staggering 2.8 million temporary residents in a population of 40-odd million — continues to exert distortionary effects on wages and housing seems not to bother the rally-goers.

Meanwhile, authorities have registered a 30% rise in hate crimes, a 187% increase in auto theft, and a staggering 350% rise in home invasions in the Peel region of which Brampton is part; this has come on the heels of last year’s interethnic tensions, following the slaying of a Sikh activist. These statistics are not to suggest that all crime stems from immigrants but rather that an environment of material scarcity and institutional breakdown conduces to higher rates of crime, whether committed by immigrants or native-born individuals.

But the cost of renting is so high that effectively only the wealthy can send their kids away to college. Superficially left wing, but de facto oligarchy. This is everywhere: health service (half the population have private), public transport (unusable if you actually need to be somewhere), and there are shakedowns at every financial touchpoint — bank duopoly, huge insurance fees, dysfunctional legal system

I once asked my mother’s mother (a Brennan from Mayo) whether she would like to go back to Ireland someday. She blew up. “No! There’s nothing there but losers and the descendants of losers. Anybody with an ounce of gumption left a hundred years ago!”

When Vanessa Sivadge, a registered nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital, wrote an anonymous op-ed about the hospital’s secret transgender medicine program, two FBI agents showed up at her home shortly thereafter to interrogate her. Last month, the hospital fired her. Dr. Eithan Haim, a general surgeon who worked at the same hospital, received a similar visit from federal agents after he leaked information about the existence of the transgender program to conservative activist Christopher Rufo. The United States government is not kind to conservative whistleblowers.

“We exposed the fact that Texas Children’s Hospital—the largest children’s hospital in the world—was lying to the public about the existence of their transgender program,” Haim wrote. “In part due to the story’s release, the very next day, the Texas Legislature voted, with bipartisan support, to ban transgender medical interventions on minors. The conduct we exposed became illegal in the State of Texas within 24 hours of our story.” Despite that, Haim was investigated and is now being prosecuted on allegations that he mishandled medical records. If convicted, he could face ten years in federal prison and a maximum possible fine of $250,000.

Yale’s Divinity School coerced students to read from a “spell” written by a “witch” as part of its Before the Fall Orientation.

The three-day orientation between Aug. 21 to 23 saw a series of talks and activities preparing incoming students for the year ahead, interspersed with small group discussions.

One of these small group periods was the first activity of orientation. Participating as an incoming student in one of these circles, I saw how the discussion opened with a set of “Restorative Circle Rules.” These rules boiled down to a warning to be open minded: all viewpoints were expected to be heard, that you only have to take what you want from the circle and participate as wanted – at least nominally.

One of the features of this age is the proliferation of lying to the point where it is reasonable to assume everything is a lie. The West is a liar’s culture now, where only the naivest trust anyone or anything. This liar’s culture is led by the people at the top, who seem to take great pleasure in lying for its own sake. They often lie when the truth would serve them best. As a result of the endless downpour of lies from the top of society, the culture itself is drenched in lying.

At the top, the culture of lying is obvious. We just went through a month where the media and the so-called experts told us that a day-drinking simpleton went from the butt of jokes to heroic strong diverse female character. Of course, the fact that the concept of the strong diverse female character exists is a testament to the promiscuous lying that now defines the entertainment industry. Every ad on television now contains a naked lie, placed there like some sort of cultural totem.

A report from Sweden’s Crime Prevention Council (BRÅ), commissioned by the government to study the increase in gun violence, completely fails to consider mass migration or the ethnicity or culture of shooters in its analysis.

Henrik Angerbrandt, one of the authors behind the study, told news outlet Samnytt that the study did not include the background of perpetrators as it was not considered interesting for the report: “We have not looked at the individual level. We have not looked at foreign backgrounds, and we have generally not examined socioeconomic factors.”

Last year, Sweden registered 363 shooting incidents (including 53 fatalities and 109 injured)—the highest numbers in Europe, in a country that once had the lowest firearm crime rate per capita. In contrast, the other three Nordic countries—which have all had significantly more restrictive migration policies—registered only six fatal shootings combined in 2023.

While Swedish authorities have shied away from identifying poorly controlled migration as a cause of increased violent crime, their Danish counterparts are upfront about it:

“Sweden is a frightening example of what happens when too little attention is given to immigration and law enforcement policies,” Danish MP Preben Bang Henriksen told daily paper Aftonbladet. “Neither the conservative nor the Social Democratic governments have addressed the problem.”

The European Commission has threatened to take away European Union funds from Hungary if it does not pay the €200 million fine imposed by the European Court of Justice over the country’s asylum system.

“There is no wiggle room here. We have to follow the applicable procedures,” a Commission spokesman said on Monday, September 2nd.

The issue revolves around the Hungarian conservative government’s tough stance on migration. Hungary has made it difficult for illegal migrants to enter the country, which is also the external border of the European Union—a border Hungary is obliged to protect.

Since 2016, Hungary has been enabling its police to deport foreigners lacking valid documentation directly to Serbia. Illegal migrants travelling through the Western Balkan route can only submit requests for asylum outside Hungary’s borders.
