The game began when Mitch McConnell decided to schedule the hearings and vote on the nominee before the election. He calculated that it was good politics for the Republicans and tricky politics for the Democrats. They have half a dozen Senate seats up this time in very Trump states. Now, McConnell correctly figured that the Democrats would have to go nuclear on the nomination, so he and the GOP brain-trust convinced Trump to go with the cleanest guy on the list. Kavanaugh had been vetted many times, so he was safe.

That was the first mistake by McConnell. Despite being in Washington for a lifetime, he somehow failed to notice that the Left never abides by its own rules. When their rules work against them, they either ignore them or make up new rules, swearing that the new rules are ancient traditions handed down by Moses. That’s what they did here by hiring the Jewish lesbian to troll for middle aged women willing to swear Kavanaugh assaulted them in the time before anyone could verify. They were going to #metoo him into withdrawing.

Given the climate in the world in which the beautiful people live, this seemed like a clever ploy to Feinstein and Schumer. After all, they could count on the cucks in the GOP to run screaming into the darkness at the first sign there was heresy afoot. In other words, they never thought they would have to actually produce witnesses. That’s why Feinstein leaked the anonymous letter she was holding since the summer. She figured all she needed was a good whisper campaign run by the fake reporters in the media.

The coordinated effort to destroy Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court required the systematic refutation of the entire notion of Western jurisprudence by senators and much of the American legal establishment. And there was no hesitation in doing just that on the part of Senate Democrats, the #MeToo movement, and the press. And I write this at a moment in which conservatives and Republicans still control the majority of governorships, state legislatures, the U.S. Senate, the House of Representatives, the Supreme Court and the presidency—a reminder that culture so often is far more powerful than politics.

On Friday morning, two women raced past reporters and security officers and blocked a senators-only elevator in the U.S. Capitol. They cornered Arizona senator Jeff Flake, who had just announced he was going to vote yes on moving Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination out of the Judiciary Committee and onto the Senate floor for a full debate. The women wouldn’t let Flake leave until they had yelled at him, face to face, for several minutes. Anyone who thinks the two left-wing activists acted without a well-thought-out plan hasn’t read The Intimidation Gameby Kim Strassel of the Wall Street Journal.

If I were a Senator or Congressman, I’d carry around one of those compressed-air-powered launch callers for such occasions. Let’s see how they react to someone who can make more noise than they can.

Doing so can get them millions of dollars in book and movie deals from Hollywood or the publishing industry, both of which lean far to the left. Over a million dollars has already been raised for Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford through GoFundMe accounts. Anita Hill, who accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in 1991 of saying sexually offensive things to her, received a “million-dollar advance” from publishers as a result.

This fact is well-known to journalists, who draw readers and advertising revenue by publicizing scurrilous allegations. But some liberal or “Never Trump” columnists pretend otherwise, to mislead their readers. They peddle the false claim that accusers have nothing to gain and everything to lose, by making allegations against people like Kavanaugh.

Gamers are boycotting a historical video game amid anger after it added more female characters to “please feminists”.

One customer was banned from the game’s official forum by a Total War employee after he left a negative review describing the change as “plain silly”.  Ella McConnell, who is paid by the game makers to moderate the forum sparked fury after issuing the ban and responding to the offending post: “Total War games are historically authentic, not historically accurate – if having female units upsets you that much you can either [modify] them out or just not play”.

Doublespeak abounds. “Victim” solely refers to the accuser, not the accused, who one day was Brett Kavanaugh, a brilliant jurist and model citizen, and the next morning woke up transformed into some sort of Kafkaesque cockroach. The media and political operatives went in a nanosecond from charging that she was groped and “assaulted” to the claim that she was “raped.”
