Agitators opposing Immigration and Customs Enforcement made quite a ruckus when they invaded a Minnesota church in the middle of a service last month, but they weren’t the first to disrupt Americans during worship.
The Justice Department has charged nine people in connection with the interruption of a service at Cities Church in St. Paul last month, notably including former CNN host Don Lemon. According to the indictment, the agitators coopted the service, chanting activist slogans and preventing worshippers from leaving the church building.
The agitators said they targeted Cities Church because one of the church’s pastors works with ICE. Now, they face charges under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (which also protects houses of worship) and the Ku Klux Klan Act (which criminalizes attempts to interfere with Americans’ constitutional rights).
The Cities Church invasion drew nationwide attention, yet this did not represent the first time agitators disrupted a church service.

A good education is said to be the best investment, and New York City‘s top private schools hope people keep adhering to that adage as tuition surges to new highs.
The annual cost of attendance at eight of the city’s most elite schools will eclipse the $70,000 mark for the 2026-27 academic year, charging more than even the country’s best colleges, according to a new analysis published by Bloomberg.
All this to get the same Grievance Studies non-education indoctrination they could get at PS 527 for free.
I guess it’s the prospect of their kids rubbing shoulders with less-Woke and less-affluent people that impels this expenditure.

The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has appeared at a summit along with autocratic and undemocratic leaders from Georgia and Burundi to talk about protecting citizens and democracy. Fascinating. It is very revealing.
tirades against alleged techno-oligarchs. However, the evidence shows that beneath the supposedly “noble” goal of protecting minors, there is an agenda that includes the introduction of digital identities, biometric control for all, and prior censorship accompanied by state surveillance.
It is obvious to everyone that the objective is to silence independent media.
If the digital control law had been implemented in 2018, the corruption scandals surrounding the Socialist government would never have come to light. Koldo García, accused of embezzlement, would still be a member of the board of public train company Renfe today; Jose Luis Ábalos, under investigation for various corruption scandals, would still be minister; Salazar, investigated for sexual assault, would be an exemplary socialist; Venezuela’s dictatorship’s Delcy Rodriguez would be a VIP nighttime visitor; and the Socialist party’s number two, Santos Cerdán, would still be “Super Santos.” For Sánchez, all those cases were “disinformation” and “fake news” from the “far right”; do not forget it.
Seems to be a trend among socialists these days.

Gates of Vienna.
This post started out as an examination of a phenomenon that is not at all controversial in the little niche of cyberspace that I inhabit: the essentially religious nature of the extremely violent rhetoric that currently dominates our political culture. The frothing homicidal madness is more prominent on the Left than on the Right, but both sides of the political spectrum are prone to it. It’s all but impossible to read about political issues without encountering at every step the fervent wish that one’s opponents should die for their opinions, preferably painfully.
I say “read”, but I assume the same is true of videos. I tend to avoid them if I can, partially due to my hearing difficulties, but it seems unlikely that video discussions are any less likely to descend into frothing madness.

New York City would smell worse than it does if it weren’t so cold. And if it weren’t so cold.
After urging New Yorkers to abandon their individualism for his “warmth of collectivism”, 16 homeless people are dead because of Mamdani’s progressive policy of letting them stay out in the cold, instead of escorting them to homeless shelters, but the survivors of his Gulag Games did get a consolation prize in the form of red capes with ‘Mayor Mamdani’ emblazoned on them that are thinner than his resume. But the same cold killing the homeless is also keeping the trash that has been piling up since Jan 24 from rotting so it doesn’t smell as bad as his policies.
The city hasn’t had trash pickup for a third of Mamdani’s term. It’s also had a homeless death against every other day he’s been in office. Zohran Mamdani did promise to transform New York City, but few expected him to make it a frozen wasteland full of corpses and trash in one month.

In December, bestselling author and humorist David Sedaris wrote a New Yorker magazine essay about a recent trip to Portland, Oregon.
While on a walk to a donut shop, he “lost count of the strung-out addicts I passed on my way” before eventually encountering four homeless people huddled around an empty baby carriage and smoking drugs right on the sidewalk. Moments later, a dog belonging to one of the addicts rushed out and bit him.
Following the incident, Sedaris, a former methamphetamine addict himself, was struck by the fact that most people in Portland didn’t seem concerned about the state of the city—even the medical worker who treated him appeared more concerned with the dog’s well-being than what had happened to him:

English singer-songwriter Louise Distras, who was previously banned from music streaming service Ampwall for her allegedly ‘transphobic’ views, has submitted a formal complaint to the West Yorkshire Police Professional Standards after the police “repeatedly downplayed or ignored” three years of reports of “serious, sustained stalking, harassment, threats and intimidation from a trans rights activist” and instead treated her as the offender, she said on Substack.
In 2023, police arrested Distras in her home as she emerged from the shower and forced her to get dressed in front of a police officer with a body cam recording. She was interviewed under caution regarding alleged ‘transphobic’ comments she made about ‘trans-right extremists’ on GB News and released without charges.
“The humiliation continued with invasive searches, mugshots, fingerprints, DNA, 7 hours in custody, a further ‘voluntary’ interview under threat of rearrest in February 2024, and charges I discovered not from the police but from vicious, targeted social media posts by journalists and trans activists,” Distras wrote, adding that this has resulted in destroying her music career and causing her complex PTSD.
The Leeds Crown Court in December 2025 found Distras not guilty of the charges brought against her.
The singer has demanded an independent investigation, a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, disclosure of all relevant records and body cam video, disciplinary action against the officers involved, and an apology.

The bill President Donald Trump signed in order to end the government shutdown also included mandatory spending that will contradict his policy goals.
The $1.2 trillion package included funding for specific entities—some of which the Trump administration is currently threatening to defund. Other funded entities provide legal defenses for illegal aliens facing deportation, while some hospitals receiving money practice late-term abortions.
“Avoiding a protracted government shutdown of some of the largest agencies like HHS and the Department of War is a laudable goal, but passing bills that undermine the president’s agenda to cut woke and weaponized spending is not the way to do it,” Connor Semelsberger, government relations director at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal in a statement Thursday.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is seeking a court order for investigating systemic race discrimination allegations against white workers by footwear and apparel corporation Nike Inc., according to a Feb. 4 statement from the agency.
The EEOC filed an action in federal court to compel Nike, headquartered in Oregon, to produce information related to allegations that the company discriminated against white workers as part of its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.
According to the filing made by EEOC in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the agency is looking to enforce an administrative subpoena against Nike for failing to submit the required information, which was initially requested in 2024 by then-commissioner, and now chair, Andrea Lucas.
Lucas alleged that Nike, since at least 2020, engaged in “a pattern or practice of disparate treatment against white employees, applicants and training program participants in hiring, promotion, demotion, or separation decisions, including selection for layoffs; internship programs; and mentoring, leadership development and other career development programs.”

While this year’s Grammy winners used their acceptance speeches to voice their radical political views, viewers voiced their disinterest by tuning out and turning off the CBS broadcast of the 2026 awards ceremony.
Sunday’s live broadcast cast featuring a constant stream of hateful vulgarity protesting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforcement of federal immigration laws drew 14.4 million viewers, a million fewer than the year before (15.4 million) and 2.68 million less than in 2024, according to Nielsen.
This year’s 6.4% drop in viewers continues a long-term decline in the number of people watching the leftist politics-platform purported music “awards” show, following a COVID-era bump. It’s more than 25 million lower than 2012’s 39.91 million mark – and over 37 million less than the show’s all-time high of 51.67 million in 1984.

A fiscal storm is brewing in the Netherlands. With the potential introduction of a tax on unrealized capital gains, The Hague is set to become a testing ground for the systematic transfer of wealth from the private sector to the state. Across all government levels, the European Union is increasingly transforming into an aggressive parasitic system.
A fundamental clash between the public and private sectors is intensifying across the EU. In March, both chambers of the Dutch parliament will decide on the implementation of an annual tax on unrealized gains. Going forward, all increases in value—from real estate and stocks to bonds and cryptocurrencies—would fall under this fiscal framework.
This move significantly accelerates the extraction of capital from the private sector, constituting a political rule violation. Already taxed income and assets would be hit again based on hypothetical gains, severely impeding private wealth accumulation.
Support for this measure spans both right- and left-wing parties. It reflects a form of fiscal horseshoe logic, apparently anticipating a severe national financial crisis.

The U.S. agency that enforces laws banning workplace discrimination said in a court filing Wednesday it is investigating Nike for allegedly discriminating against white people through its diversity policies.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said in the filing that Nike has refused to comply with a sprawling subpoena seeking information such as data on the racial and ethnic makeup of the company’s workforce and a roster of employees chosen for mentoring and development programs.
The commission said it is investigating allegations that Nike intentionally discriminated against white employees and job applicants, including by disproportionately targeting them for layoffs, and that it needed the information to determine whether Nike violated the law.

A Texas LGBT judge with a history of clashing with authorities over her activism has been arrested and charged after she allegedly handcuffed and held a defense attorney captive in her jury box for the crime of arguing for the right to confer with her client during a probation hearing.
Bexar County Judge Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez was indicted last week on a felony charge of unlawful restraint by a judicial officer and misdemeanor official oppression. The controversial judge was arrested for the 2024 incident, during which she and defense attorney Elizabeth Russell clashed in the courtroom.
Gonzalez has had run-ins with the law before. In 2022 she was was fined for bringing a loaded rainbow-painted gun through San Antonio International airport in her carry-on luggage. In 2019 shortly after she took the bench as the “first openly gay judge in Bexar County”, Gonzalez was sanctioned for pasting her courtroom, office and robes with gay pride flags in violation of the Texas Code of Judicial Conduct. In 2023 the sanctions were lifted by a three judge panel.
Former staff members of the court report that the LGBT judge created a “hostile work environment”. Multiple former workers/partners with the Reflejo Court program accused Gonzales of increasingly erratic and aggressive behavior, primarily toward defendants/litigants in the courtroom. Others accused her of being “unstable” and prone to violent outbursts.
The judge is, however, considered a favorite of local prosecutors.

The Affordable Care Act would “bend the cost curve” in health care, “moving the health care system toward higher quality and more efficient care.” So said a White House statement in 2013.
Many people now agree that didn’t happen.
“We pay more than any other country in the world for worse health care,” Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) said while campaigning for office in 2024.
“Families pay more, get less, and we’re left with few choices,” Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) testified in a December 2025 committee hearing.
A combined 70 percent of Americans believe the U.S. health care system is either in crisis or has major problems, according to a 2025 Gallup poll.
Health insurance premiums have more than doubled since Obamacare began in 2014, rising twice as fast as inflation. And satisfaction with the cost of health care registered a record low in 2025, at 16 percent.

A set of internal documents published by the Republican members of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee (Judiciary GOP) has sent shockwaves through Brussels.
Released under the title The EU Censorship Files, Part II, the investigation presents documentary evidence of a sustained strategy by the European Commission to influence public debate on social media and digital platforms, pressuring major tech companies to censor lawful content, alter their internal rules, and restrict certain political viewpoints.
…
The revelations go far beyond an abstract debate over content moderation. According to the material made public, the Commission has directly or indirectly intervened in at least eight electoral processes across six European countries since 2023, using high-level meetings with digital platforms in the days and weeks leading up to elections to demand stricter censorship of political speech.

German police are preparing for nationwide unrest ahead of a Hungarian court verdict in the case of Maja T., a “non-binary” far-left extremist accused of traveling to Budapest to carry out violent Antifa attacks. Authorities warn that a guilty ruling could trigger riots, arson, and attacks on Hungarian diplomatic missions across Germany.
The 24-year-old accused has been imprisoned in Hungary since June last year, after being extradited from Germany in connection with political violence conducted by the so-called Hammerbande (Hammer Gang), an Antifa-linked extremist group known for attacking people they label as ‘right-wing’ or ‘fascist.’ Maja T. is alleged to have taken part in coordinated assaults in Budapest in February 2023, during which victims—including some lying immobilised on the ground—were beaten with hammers and batons. The Antiplanner.
Minnesota’s Northstar commuter train made its last run about a month ago. Planners had predicted that the train would carry 5,900 passengers a day, but in 2024 it carried only 435 per day. Collecting fares that averaged $3 per rider, its operating costs were $121 per rider.
Charles Marohn, a planning advocate over at Strong Towns, argues that, as a transportation project, Northstar was “doomed from the start.” This is because it wasn’t designed for transportation. Instead, it was aimed at getting money from the federal government.
“Northstar wasn’t a transportation project that failed,” wrote Marohn. “It was a funding project that succeeded.”
And that funding went to favored companies supplying the trains, building the tracks, and creating the other infrastructure needed for this boondoggle—and, more likely than not, into the pockets of Democrat politicians and bureaucrats (it is, after all, Minnesota).

Democrat lawmakers in Washington state unveiled legislation Tuesday that would impose a new tax on residents earning more than $1 million annually, Politico reported.
The move advances a proposal supporters say would fund key services, while opponents warn it could worsen economic challenges and fail to address the state’s immediate budget shortfall.
The proposal would levy a tax of nearly 10% on income exceeding $1 million, marking the latest attempt by Washington Democrats to implement an income tax in one of the few states that does not currently impose one.
Party leaders say public support and shifting political dynamics have strengthened the bill’s chances of passage.

Irene Montero, a politician from the far-left, pro-immigration Podemos party, is arguing that after granting amnesty to 500,000 illegal immigrants, the Sanchez government should now make them Spanish citizens and amend the law to allow them to participate in elections. She specifically calls to replace the “fascists and racists with immigrants.” Now, she has faced backlash from a wide range of critics, including Elon Musk and a range of European politicians.
“I hope for replacement theory, I hope we can sweep this country of fascists and racists with immigrants. Whatever their skin color, whether Chinese, Black, or Brown,” Montero said, as quoted by the daily El Mundo. In her speech, she strongly criticized right-wing parties, including Vox and its leader Santiago Abascal, describing their rhetoric as “racist” and “anti-migration.”

Jan. 24 marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Al Gore’s alarmist global warming movie “An Inconvenient Truth.” Gore has surfed the movie and climate alarmism to a net worth estimated at $300 million and a Nobel Peace Prize.
But the rest of us have been saddled with: (1) a hoax that has debased the field of science; (2) an energy scam that has cost the world more than $10-20 trillion dollars and threatens our national security; and (3) a political power grab that has reduced our freedoms. Gore’s movie was junk from the get-go. After the presentation, I approached Gore and asked if he was interested in participating in some sort of debate about his claims. Although he said he was interested, his staff later declined.

A short video clip from Spain has reverberated far beyond, exposing a fault line in Europe’s migration debate and fueling claims that parts of the continent’s far left view immigration not only as a social policy but as an electoral instrument.
The footage shows Irene Montero, a senior figure in Spain’s hard-left Podemos, former equality minister and currently serving as an MEP, addressing a public event. In it, Montero expresses her hope that immigration will help “sweep this country of fascists and racists,” a remark widely interpreted by critics as endorsing demographic change to alter voting outcomes.
Ponder the depth of depravity inherent in having a government ‘equality minister’. (This is, of course, exactly what Democrats are attempting in the U.S.)
What might once have remained a domestic controversy instead exploded onto the global stage after being amplified by prominent international voices. Dutch commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek framed the clip as a rare moment of candor from Europe’s radical left, arguing that it confirms long-held suspicions about demographic engineering being used as a political strategy.

A year earlier, the Biden administration had spent $1.1 billion on Somalia. And the same was true of the year before. U.S. spending on Somalia had shot up from $103 million under a Republican House to $300 million under Pelosi’s Democrats. By 2017, foreign aid to Somalia had passed the half a billion dollar mark, by 2018, it was over $800 million and by 2020, after Rep. The Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism said on Sunday it is terminating the humanitarian operations of the international charity Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, MSF) in Gaza after the organisation failed to provide a list of its Palestinian staff. The ministry noted that the group will cease its work and leave Gaza by February 28th.
In December, the ministry announced it would prevent 37 aid organisations, including MSF, from operating in Gaza from March 1 for failing to provide detailed information about their Palestinian staff. According to the ministry, two MSF employees had links with the terrorist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad. MSF denied the claim. .
In its statement the ministry said MSF had committed in early January that it would share the staff list as required by the Israeli authorities, but then backtracked and did not transfer the lists, annoucing “it does not intend to proceed with the registration process at all, contradicting its previous statements and the binding protocol.”

On yesterday’s thread about anti-MAGA rage in the health professions, there was some discussion about the leftism of therapists. I’m unaware of any threats by therapists to kill MAGA fans. But then again – unlike nurses and doctors – they’re not in the business of directly tending to their clients’ bodily needs, so they don’t have as much opportunity – or is it temptation?
But I think it might be time to recycle a post I wrote in May of 2023 on the topic of the leftism of therapists, and the fact that many have been refusing to treat people on the right for many years prior to Trump. So the rest of this post is a repeat of that earlier post.

You’ve seen the articles: healthcare workers (often nurses) who boast that they won’t treat MaGA supporters or even that they’ll harm or kill them. Another variant is the same claim about not treating, or outright harming, Israelis.
This shouldn’t surprise us, although it probably does. People who work in healthcare are people, after all, and there’s always been a certain number of natural sociopaths drawn to the profession. We’ve always heard of the random nurse or doctor who injects patients with something lethal, although their numbers have mercifully been very low. But they have always existed.
However, what’s going on now seem to be a new phenomenon, and although it continues to involve a small number it’s certainly more people than the group I described above. This time, also, they seem to have little awareness that they will face any negative consequences for publicly stating their willingness to harm or kill patients. They brag about their intent to commit such crimes, and seem to consider it a good way to virtue-signal. When they are suspended or fired, they’re probably very surprised.
If they are young (and by “young” I mean anything under forty) they’ve been steeped in leftist education, for the most part. So some of this is a generational phenomenon. Then there’s widespread TDS and the demonization of anyone supporting Trump, which has increased over the years rather than decreased. I see it myself, nearly constantly. It becomes standard in many circles, and that escalates matters as well, when one’s colleagues and friends and family seem to all agree that MAGA equals Nazi. That thought is reiterated and magnified through the MSM, Democrat and NeverTrump politicians and pundits, and social media.
Healthcare professionals often go into the profession through a desire to do good, and if killing Nazis is good then they’ll do that, too. Nor is their professional training politically neutral, either.

The Justice Department is joining a lawsuit against the University of California, Los Angeles medical school for alleged race-based admissions that it says violate a Supreme Court ruling.
Last May, student groups sued the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA regarding the continued use of race in admission practices, despite a 2023 Supreme Court ruling that barred universities from using race as a factor in admissions decisions.
Plaintiffs who brought the initial case included Students for Fair Admissions, which previously sued Harvard and the University of North Carolina in cases that were decided by the high court. The other plaintiff is Do No Harm. Both groups represent students denied admission into the UCLA medical school.
“Even after the Supreme Court banned race-balancing, the Geffen School kept discriminating by using illegal DEI preferences in admissions,” Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division said in a public statement Thursday.

In my most recent report on Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program, I noted that the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) leadership is sharply criticizing Canada’s MAID program, which is now linked to organ donation, with one top official calling it a “strange new horror” and a cautionary example for other countries.
Now, even more disturbing revelations about the program are being made, which underscore the correctness of every concern expressed about this program.
Ontario’s chief coroner has released two new reports from the province’s interdisciplinary MAID Death Review Committee, examining same? or next?day provision of MAID and the use of waivers of final consent. The committee’s mandate was to look beyond individual files to the patterns they reveal.
Several of the cases reveal that the process for some included coercion and rushed decisions.

Minnesota resident Nicole Cleland had her Global Entry and TSA Precheck privileges revoked three days after an incident in which she observed activity by immigration agents, the woman said in a court declaration. An agent told Cleland that he used facial recognition technology to identify her, she wrote in a declaration filed in US District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Cleland, a 56-year-old resident of Richfield and a director at Target Corporation, volunteers with a group that tracks potential Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) vehicles in her neighborhood, according to her declaration. On the morning of January 10, she “observed a white Dodge Ram being driven by what I believed to be federal enforcement agents” and “maneuvered behind the vehicle with the intent of observing the agents’ actions.”
Cleland said that she and another observer in a different car followed the Dodge Ram because of “concern about a local apartment building being raided.” She followed the car for a short time and from a safe distance until “the Dodge Ram stopped in front of the other commuter’s vehicle,” she wrote. Cleland said two other vehicles apparently driven by federal agents stopped in front of the Dodge Ram, and her path forward was blocked.
“An agent exited the vehicle and approached my vehicle,” Cleland wrote. “I remained in my vehicle. The agent addressed me by my name and informed me that they had ‘facial recognition’ and that his body cam was recording. The agent stated that he worked for border patrol. He wore full camouflage fatigues. The agent stated that I was impeding their work. He indicated he was giving me a verbal warning and if I was found to be impeding again, I would be arrested.”
Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. AWFULs think that they can do this sort of thing with no consequences.
She Fucked Around and Found Out.

Every day, it seems anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement agitators perpetrate a new atrocity against innocent people, and Democrats demonizing ICE arguably bear some of the blame.
On Sunday, they effectively laid siege to the Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel, smashing the windows and spray-painting anti-ICE slogans, leading both state police and federal agents to respond.
On Tuesday, Virginia Commonwealth University Health announced that it fired a nurse after she released social media videos urging medical providers to use a “sabotage tactic” against ICE, preparing syringes with saline or succinylcholine, a muscle relaxant that can cause temporary partial paralysis.
In arguably the most infuriating example, agitators invaded Cities Church in St. Paul, in the middle of a service, and effectively shut it down. They reportedly screamed in the faces of crying children, prevented parents from getting to their children, and stopped terrified parishioners from leaving. They justified this by noting that one of the pastors works for ICE.
The deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both 37, at the hands of immigration enforcement have contributed to the climate of hostility against ICE, but those incidents arguably do not explain this extreme hatred.
What leads people to think it’s acceptable to target ICE so much that they’re willing to harass innocents?
Seven extreme statements from Democrat officials might provide an answer.

The United States has pulled its membership in the World Health Organization (WHO), and many other nations are rethinking their participation. Of course, this could change with some future administration. The institution itself is not going anywhere. This is why it is crucial to understand the case for why the United States needed to pull out and cut all funding.
It’s also critically important that other nations join us and leave this organization. To top it all off, the WHO has become a pillar of duplicity even now.
Over the weekend, WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, “While WHO recommended the use of masks, physical distancing and vaccines, WHO did not recommend governments to mandate the use of masks or vaccines and never recommended lockdowns.”
This claim is easily refuted.

The killing of ICU nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis last Saturday sparked national outrage – particularly when it comes to the 2nd Amendment and his right to carry while protesting. The incident resulted in two federal agents involved in the shooting being placed on leave, and the ouster of US border patrol chief Gregory Bovino as the face of the Trump administration’s mass deportation drive.
While the circumstances of his death are still under investigation – many believe this gun went off after an agent took it off his body, spooking the shooter or shooters – he was known to federal authorities, and had suffered a broken rib during a violent confrontation with agents about a week before his death, CNN reported Tuesday.
Now, new footage appears to show Pretti armed and spitting at ICE agents before he smashes the taillights of their black SUV during a wild confrontation roughly a week before his death.

Most of the recent vitriolic opposition to ICE is a feint by unrepentant open-borders progressives. They won the first round when Joe Biden was elected president, lost the second when Donald Trump returned to office, and are back for a rematch.
Democratic leaders portray ICE agents as violent Gestapo thugs and murderers. They claim ICE kidnaps good people off the street, rips apart their families and communities, and deprives them of due process. They give lip service to deporting the “worst of the worst,” but they lead sanctuary cities that release hardened criminal illegal aliens and incite protesters to harass and prevent ICE from arresting rapists, child predators, and killers.
For most, the venom has little to do with how ICE performs its mission and everything to do with preventing the Trump administration from undoing Biden’s brazen deluge of illegal migrants. But for the protests, ICE would be nearly invisible to most Americans, who abhor these violent confrontations. Instead, two Americans have tragically died in Minneapolis.
Democratic leaders deflect when challenged with the fact that disruption and mistakes would be greatly reduced if sanctuary cities turned over criminals already confined. Minnesota alone refuses to comply with 1,360 detainers for illegal aliens in its jails, including 500 previously ordered to be deported by federal judges.

A network of far-left nonprofits linked to Marxist financier Neville Roy Singham is leveraging Minnesota-based Black and Somali student organizations to mobilize child protesters in a planned “ICE Out of Everywhere” action on Friday, assessed as a coordinated general strike intended to inflict economic disruption amid widespread protests following multiple fatal shootings of protesters by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis.
“We support the call from Minnesota-based Black and Somali student organizations — on Friday, January 30, join the national day of action to say ICE OUT OF EVERYWHERE!” Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) wrote on X.

New footage has emerged showing Alex Pretti interacting with immigration authorities in Minneapolis more than a week before the 37-year-old ICU nurse was shot and killed by federal law enforcement.
A Jan. 13 video provided by The News Movement, a media outlet geared to Generation Z, shows a man who appears to be Pretti shouting at a federal officer before the officer walked back to his SUV.
As the vehicle began to drive away, Pretti kicked it twice, shattering the taillight on the second kick.
“Our footage was analyzed by the BBC, whose facial recognition technology confirmed his identity to a 97% degree of accuracy,” the video’s narrator said.

Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti spat at ICE agents and kicked their SUV during a tense confrontation almost a fortnight before he was shot dead by two federal immigration officers, new video appears to show.
The 37-year-old nurse, who was killed by federal officers in the city on Saturday, was involved in an angry, physical confrontation with agents 11 days earlier.
Newly released footage appears to show Pretti spitting at agents and kicking an ICE vehicle so hard that he breaks its rear brake light. He is then bundled to the ground by agents in tactical gear.

Zohran Mamdani’s policy and funding proposals could precipitate an economic and political crisis in New York City reminiscent of the movements that led to Communist China, the Soviet Union, or Socialist Venezuela.
To finance this red vision, New York’s mayor proposes an additional 2% income tax on New York City’s noncorporate businesses and residents making over $1 million annually.
He claims that this revenue will address residents’ affordability concerns by allowing the government to provide discounted or free services. These socialist policies range from rent freezes, affordable housing, city-owned grocery stores, free buses, no-cost child care, and mandating a $30 minimum wage.
Time to leave.
