Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson Saturday compared Immigration and Customs Enforcement patrols to lynch mobs and likened current political battles over LGBTQ issues to the civil rights movement.

HRC, the nation’s largest LGBTQ activist group, has sharply criticized Trump’s policies on transgender issues, including restrictions on military service for people diagnosed with gender dysphoria and opposition to transgender medical procedures on minors.

“This is a dark time in America,” Robinson said at the HRC annual dinner in Washington, D.C. “They say that history doesn’t repeat, but it often rhymes, that the ghosts of our unsettled sins continue to haunt us.”

“The story of Nolan Wells echoes the story of Emmett Till,” she said. Wells, an 18-year-old, mysteriously died in Georgia this summer, while the 14-year-old Till’s 1955 murder became a rallying point for the civil rights movement. “The ICE patrols look a little too similar to lynch mobs. The purging of the voter rolls looks just like poll taxes, and the attacks on our trans children, they are just as haunting.”

Robinson repeatedly framed current conflicts over transgender policies as a continuation of historic civil rights struggles, arguing that government actions targeting transgender identities echoed forms of discrimination previously directed at black Americans.

The Karmelo Anthony story never seems to end, and perhaps that’s a testament to the era we live in. It seems as though every prominent trial with any media attention is automatically politicized – From the Lindsay Clancy circus to the Luigi Mangionne case to Anthony stabbing Austin Metcalf, the political left has been particularly invasive. Not only do they consistently take the side of the murderers, but they continue in their efforts to blame and terrorize the victims.

Such is the ongoing reality of the Metcalf family, who are now faced with an array of threats from online lunatics and race militants looking for “payback” after the conviction of their hero, Karmelo Anthony.

A Missouri woman is currently facing federal charges for threatening to kill Austin Metcalf’s father (Jeff Metcalf) and “put him in a body bag” because of Anthony’s prison sentence. Court documents show Sharifa Nicole Henderson, who is also known as Riffa Henderson, was arrested on September 11 and indicted on three federal counts over messages she allegedly sent “on or about June 9” – which was the day Anthony was convicted and sentenced to 35 years behind bars.

On a November afternoon in 1967, at a hall in Roskilde, Denmark, a panel of the most celebrated left-wing intellectuals in the world delivered a unanimous verdict at the second session of its “International War Crimes Tribunal”: the United States government was perpetrating a genocide against the people of Vietnam. Political activist Staughton Lynd—chairman of the 1965 “March on Washington” and a staunch opponent of the war—rejected Russell’s invitation to join the tribunal, once it was made clear to him that Russell and the rest of the tribunal would not be investigating Viet Cong atrocities. The violence of the oppressed, he was told, could not be judged by the same standard as the violence of the oppressor. As Lynd recalled in an essay published that year in an issue of Liberation:

In conversation with the emissary who proffered the invitation, I urged that the alleged war crimes of any party to the conflict should come before the Tribunal. After all, I argued, a “crime” is an action that is wrong no matter who does it. … I asked, “What if it were shown that the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam tortures unarmed prisoners?” The answer, as I understood it, was, “Anything is justified that drives the imperialist aggressor into the sea.” I declined the invitation to be a member of the Tribunal.

The United Kingdom is about to discover the part of the Laffer Curve where the billionaire taxpayers simply get on a plane and go somewhere else.

His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs has now assigned a dedicated “compliance manager” to every billionaire it has identified with a UK tax footprint, dramatically expanding the government’s oversight of the country’s richest people, according to a new report from Bloomberg this week.

HMRC is using its own records, public information and data shared by foreign governments to identify billionaires with UK tax exposure and map their connections to businesses, trusts and other entities. “The UK tax authority has assigned a personal compliance manager to every billionaire within its reach as it seeks to get a better grip on the super-rich’s tax liabilities,” the report says.

HMRC says the goal is straightforward, making sure wealthy taxpayers pay what they legally owe, and the government confirmed this month that every billionaire with a UK tax footprint was allocated a Customer Compliance Manager over the summer.

But consider the message Britain is sending: become extraordinarily successful, build companies, accumulate enough capital and pay enough taxes, and eventually the government assigns an individual bureaucrat to keep tabs on you.

New public records indicate that faculty members at Utah Valley University sent hostile messages regarding Charlie Kirk to the university’s administrators in the weeks following his assassination on the UVU campus, even though the university had previously issued public statements advocating civility and free expression.

Judicial Watch obtained the 133 pages of emails and text messages through a Utah Government Records Access and Management Act request. The records went to then-UVU President Astrid S. Tuminez and other administrators.

A week ago, NBC’s Saturday edition of Today highlighted what it considered an in-depth report from its Boston affiliate on the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial but in reality was just a doxing operation. Now, a week later, correspondent Emilie Ikeda reported on the threats to the juror but omitted any role NBC had in exposing the man to threats and harassment.

Ikeda began by declaring that, “The sole holdout is breaking his silence, publicly identifying himself as Michael Desronvil. In a statement shared by his attorney, he said he kept getting cut off during deliberations and that he thought the prosecution had enough proof that Clancy knew exactly what she was doing and planned, also saying, ‘I didn’t have any doubts.’ In contrast to what other jurors, including the foreperson, have suggested since the mistrial.”

She then played a clip of jury foreperson Roni Carlson telling NBC10 Boston, “He admitted he had reasonable doubt, and I started filling out the forms…and then he said, but I’m still not going to say that she’s not guilty by reason of insanity.”

A report published this week by civil liberties and privacy campaigning organisation Big Brother Watch states that more than 62,000 people in the United Kingdom were arrested for communications offences over a five year period, with at least 18,500 charged and 12,292 convicted. These numbers should alarm anyone who still believes the citizen is master and the state is servant.

“I don’t think religion had anything to do with it,” he said. “He looked at the case, and he made the call. For me, that’s how I would do it. I would just listen to the case with all the evidence, and go from there.”

I reported last weekend on Dr. Charles Hoffe, a general practitioner in British Columbia who testified at the Allison Inquiry on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, which is investigating the adverse consequences reported by people who received one or more of the COVID-19 “vaccines”. The first part of Dr. Hoffe’s testimony concerned the fact that emergency rooms in British Columbia had never been overflowing with COVID patients as described in the official propaganda about the “pandemic”. Then, after the “vaccinations” started, people who had been vaxed started coming down with COVID. The more boosters they received, the more likely they were to get COVID, and the worse their symptoms became. Some of his vaxed patients started exhibiting severe neurological symptoms, but Dr. Hoffe was unable to get them referred to neurological specialists, because he described the problems as vaccine-related. He was told not to say anything that questioned the safety and efficacy of the vax.

Needless to say, he experienced retribution at the hands of the medical establishment for his impertinence, and almost lost his medical license.

Last week the Canadian MP Dean Allison convened an independent enquiry on Parliament Hill in Ottawa into the adverse effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines”. On the second day (September 9) of the Allison Enquiry an American obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. James Thorp, gave testimony.

After testifying, Dr. Thorp was interviewed by RAIR Foundation. He discussed the revelations found in the recently released diary and emails of Anthony Fauci, which showed that Dr. Fauci and other top medical officials were aware of the clinical results showing that the vax could harm pregnant women, yet they continued to push for expectant mothers to get “vaccinated”, saying that the mRNA shots were safe. Data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) said otherwise: the vax could harm the developing fetus and cause miscarriages. Speaking out in public about this fact was what got Dr. Thorp in trouble.

Like Dr. Charles Hoffe (see yesterday’s report), Dr. Thorp was punished by the medical establishment, and was fired by his employer.

Medical practitioners were well aware of what would happen to them if they spoke up about the compelling evidence that the vax was harmful to pregnant women, so most of them complied and remained silent. Dr. Thorp was one of the few who had the sand to risk his career by telling the truth.

Is there a global “Register of Interest in Museum”? Known to whom? Is the problem that Thiel’s degree of interest in the British Museum is uncertain or insufficient? Would the privileged visit have caused less concern had Thiel been a registered Museum donor?

Then-Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan declared, “If a person wants to be the nominee of the Republican Party, there can be no evasion and no games. They must reject any group or cause that is built on bigotry.” Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, “Senate Republicans condemn David Duke, the KKK and his racism.”

When Duke later announced a Republican candidacy for the U.S. Senate from Louisiana, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said: “David Duke & his hateful bigotry have no place in the Republican Party & the RNC will never support his candidacy under any circumstance.”

Now consider the Democratic Party’s treatment of Hasan Piker, the socialist streamer who said, “America deserved 9/11.” He called Israel “the Jewish ISIS” and declared Hamas “1,000 times better than Israel.” Piker warned that if American Jews continue to show, as Piker put it, to be “singularly invested in Israel,” eventually someone would “take action” against them.

Unlike Duke in 2016, Piker is not a politically marginal figure with little influence. The Anti-Defamation League estimates he has over 11 million combined followers. He has interviewed or appeared online with Democrats Sen. Bernie Sanders; Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar; New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani; Rep. Last week Conservative member of the Canadian Parliament named Dean Allison convened an independent enquiry on Parliament Hill in Ottawa into the adverse consequences reported by people who received one or more of the COVID-19 “vaccines”. On the opening day (September 8) of the Allison Enquiry a doctor from British Columbia named Charles Hoffe testified.

Dr. Hoffe also gave an important interview during the lunch break. He discussed his discovery that an alarming percentage of his patients who had been vaxed ended up with otherwise unexplained blood clots spread throughout their bodies.

He was, of course, punished by the medical establishment for making his findings public. And a few days after he spoke publicly about the clots, the small town where he practiced, Lytton, was almost completely destroyed by a wildfire that was almost certainly caused by arson. A Portland professional soccer team and a prominent women’s sports bar removed fans wearing apparel from XX-XY Athletics, a company that opposes allowing men who claim to identify as women to compete in women’s sports.

A group of eight fans attended the women’s soccer match between the Portland Thorns and the Washington Spirit at the stadium Providence Park Sunday, but security escorted them from the venue. Later, the Sports Bra, a women’s sports bar, expelled the same fans over the XX-XY Athletics t-shirts.

XX-XY Athletics, a sports brand aiming to compete with Nike, notes biological differences between the sexes that give men advantages in many sports. The t-shirts emphasize “XX” and “XY,” the chromosomal markers of men and women, to focus on sex rather than gender identity.

“I would love to hear, why are we being ejected today?” Amy Sousa, one of the women wearing an XX-XY branded shirt, asks in a video published by Fox News.

“I was made aware that some transphobic…” a security guard responds, while women object and cut him off.

The guard states that “somebody was giving out information,” and the women object to that claim, saying they did not distribute materials.

Karyann Parkinson let her 5-year-old son, Sam, walk half a mile to collect goose feathers near their neighborhood pond. Last week, a Virginia judge convicted her of a crime for it, and her family is now appealing.

A passerby spotted him and called it in. A guard marched the boy home and told him bad people would have taken him. Then came three patrol cars, a security vehicle, and two Child Protective Services caseworkers. CPS logged a “Level 2” finding against Parkinson for inadequate supervision, the trigger for a registry placement, while prosecutors separately pursued her in criminal court. She now carries a Class 1 misdemeanor conviction for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a suspended six-month jail sentence, and a spot on Virginia’s child abuse and neglect registry, where she’ll stay for seven years.

I spent eight years in private security and executive protection before I earned my securities licenses and built a career assessing risk for a living, first for people’s bodies, then for their money. A watchdog group is pressing New York to act against the lawyer for E. Jean Carroll for allegedly failing to disclose that Democrat donor Reid Hoffman bankrolled the defamation lawsuit against President Donald Trump.

In July, the National Legal and Policy Center filed a bar complaint with the Attorney Grievance Committee against Roberta Kaplan, Carroll’s lawyer, alleging that she was not transparent about the role of Democrat megadonor Hoffman, a co-founder of LinkedIn, in bankrolling Carroll’s lawsuit.

By August, the committee dismissed the complaint without addressing the question directly.

“The dismissal was made without conducting any investigation, let alone a ‘thorough investigation’ that this committee promises to undertake for misconduct complaints,” the appeal filed by Paul Kamenar, chief counsel for the National Legal and Policy Center, says.

The appeal said the essence of the original complaint was that “Kaplan waited almost six months after the deposition of her client, E. Jean Carroll, until the eve of trial to correct Ms. Carroll’s false statement in an October 2022 deposition that she was not receiving any outside funding for her defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump.”
