The latest Trump assassin wasn’t a radical. He was a Democrat.

There was nothing radical about Cole Tomas Allen: the attempted White House Correspondents’ Dinner assassin. Allen’s manifesto reads a lot like that of the previous three-named assassin Ryan Wesley Routh who was stalking President Trump at a golf game.

Apart from the explicit murder plots, there is nothing in Routh’s ‘Dear World’ letter and Allen’s manifesto that you wouldn’t find in the Washington Post, a Jimmy Kimmel or Stephen Colbert monologue or a rant by a Democrat member of Congress. Routh was obsessed with Iran and Ukraine, sounding like Thomas Friedman when he complained that Trump had “ended relations with Iran like a child and now the Middle East has unraveled.”

Allen offered even more generic foreign policy criticisms that seemed plucked from network newscasts and fake news coverage of Trump’s campaign against illegal alien criminals, drug cartels, Islamic terrorists in Iran and the cutoff of funds to USAID, ranting about being (“raped in a detention camp”, “fisherman executed without trial” “schoolkid blown up” or “a child starved”).

Did Allen really care about events in Iran or Latin America? Could he even tell them apart?

There are two distinct but related things going on with the Democrats. One is that the party is rapidly moving ideologically leftward and embracing previously inconceivable positions ranging from socialism to treason and the other is that much of the party is not ideologically radicalizing so much as it’s driven by a violently fervent hatred of Trump and a conviction that he’s Hitler.

This is not some grassroots phenomenon but the messaging from the top down of the party and its media apparatus. That’s why Allen’s views are entirely reflective of their rhetoric. He wasn’t a Marxist, a Communist or a Socialist… his views were those of the mainstream of his party. (The amount of distance between the Democrats and the Marxists of course is rapidly shrinking.)

ICE has arrested an illegal alien child sex predator in Abigail Spanberger’s Virginia. Authorities there tried to protect him by declining an ICE detainer last year and releasing him back into the community.

The suspect, Roni Mendez-Escobar, a Guatemalan national, faced charges including multiple felony counts of possession of obscene material and child pornography with intent to distribute.

This isn’t an isolated failure. It’s the predictable result of Virginia Democrats turning the state into a magnet for criminal illegal aliens while American families bear the cost. Spanberger ran as a “moderate,” yet her administration’s moves to limit cooperation with ICE have repeatedly put Virginia children and residents at risk.

Just weeks ago, ICE urged Spanberger not to release another criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, Misael Lopez Gomez, who allegedly bludgeoned his own three-month-old daughter to death with blunt force trauma in Fairfax.

Democrats are crazy and evil, but also utterly incompetent.

Notice something missing in that Associated Press story? “Assassination.” You could say, “an apparent assassination attempt,” or use the phrase “would-be assassin,” but the AP goes out of its way to avoid saying the obvious: THIS GUY WANTED TO KILL TRUMP.

Furthermore, despite cramming the story full of all kinds of irrelevancies — quotes from this or that politician in attendance — the AP doesn’t include important details about the suspect’s background: First, that Cole Allen donated to Kamala Harris’s campaign, and second, that there was a campaign sign for a Democratic candidate for a state judge position in the front lawn of Allen’s home in California. In other words, evidence clearly suggests the shooter is a Democrat with a political motive, but the Associated Press didn’t think that merited inclusion in the story.

Why was the lower court in Virginia so quick to rule the referendum unconstitutional? This wasn’t the referendum’s first rodeo through the Virginia court system; it had been ruled unconstitutional in a lower court before.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which makes its money by exaggerating “hate” to scare donors and by comparing conservatives to the Ku Klux Klan, was itself funding Klan members—and now major Democrats are beclowning themselves by defending it.

Like a dog returns to its vomit, so Democrats return to the ridiculous claim that the SPLC is some sort of noble civil rights group and that to attack it is to attack America’s soul.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., claimed that the Justice Department’s indictment against the SPLC is “turning what America’s all about inside out.”

He noted that “in 1983, the Ku Klux Klan tried to burn down the Southern Poverty Law Center for daring to oppose its hatred.”

“More than four decades later, the Trump administration is trying to do the same thing in the courtroom,” Schumer said.

That’s a powerful line, but is it true?

Schumer didn’t address the specific charges in the indictment—six counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud, and one count of conspiracy to conceal money laundering. Nor did he address the allegations that the SPLC didn’t just pay $3 million to a set of “informants” in white nationalist and neo-Nazi groups, but actually directed racist social media posts and helped bring more people to the white nationalist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville in 2017, paying the very same extremists it highlighted on its website.

His entry claimed that Israel had been behind the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk; purposefully killed U.S. soldiers during an attack on the U.S.S. Liberty in 1967; orchestrated the 9/11 attacks and planned to “suitcase nuke” the United States.

“Israel, the REAL terrorists, created and funds Hamas via Qatar,” Grundmann wrote. “Countless war crimes by lsrael/ Netanyahu. No further funding for Israel. They call Palestinians AND Christians AND America ‘Amalek;—their sworn forever enemy.”

Virginia used to be a model of fair redistricting. That reputation is now gone.

On Tuesday, Virginia Democrats passed a redistricting plan that transforms one of the most fairly apportioned states in the country into one of the most blatantly gerrymandered.

Keep in mind that Virginia only narrowly backed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in 2024 by roughly five points. Virginia is, in every way, a battleground state. Yet under the new map, nearly half the state’s voters effectively lose their voice. The new lines snake from densely packed, heavily Democratic suburbs deep into rural territory. There is nothing democratic about it.

And the endgame is obvious. If these maps survive a court challenge, Democrats will have a much easier path to stacking Congress against President Donald Trump — setting up yet another sham impeachment attempt over nothing.

Democrats aren’t even hiding what they’re doing anymore. Why would they? Republicans have spent years playing nice while the left plays to win, and they play dirty.

Minnesota state lawmakers accused Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., of taking part in a scheme that stole more than $250 million in federal funds.

The allegations surfaced during a fraud oversight hearing Tuesday led by the GOP-controlled Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee.

Newsmax reached out to Omar’s office seeking comment on the lawmakers’ allegations.

Lawmakers pointed to Omar’s role in advancing legislation they said helped enable the Feeding Our Future scheme.

At issue is the Maintaining Essential Access to Lunch for Students (MEALS) Act, introduced by Omar in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Washington Examiner reported.

Omar’s bill expanded eligibility for food distributors to participate in a federally funded child nutrition program, allowing nonschool entities to receive reimbursements for meals provided to children when schools were closed.

Lea and Roosevelt counties in the US state of New Mexico (NM) in 2026 are seeking to secede and join the state of Texas.

“There was a state representative or two from New Mexico who were expressing frustration with the government in Santa Fe,” Texas State Representative Carl Tepper said.

“They have expressed an interest in being annexed by Texas, . . .”

Their action is referred to as “NewMexit.”

Ludwig von Mises wrote many times that a group of people in a sovereign nation or province should have the freedom to secede from that place to join another like-minded province or nation or become an independent nation.

These two counties are part of a growing US movement where people in counties tire of their state’s policies and taxation that inhibit economic growth, lessen individual freedom, issue cumbersome regulations interfering with operation of a privately-owned business and family decision-making.

This kid snuck into the country in 2024 and ended up a high school student at Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia. As an 18- and 19-year-old, Israel Flores Ortiz was accused of groping several high school girls.

He was later hit with 13 counts of assault, convicted on nine of misdemeanor assault and battery. What’s more, one of the victims was a 9th grader who was groped twice!

Day after day, new Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger and her fellow Democrats demonstrate how much of their agenda is simply about securing power.

Spanberger signed a bill Monday that added the Commonwealth of Virginia to the National Popular Vote Compact, which is a misguided and downright unconstitutional attempt to get around the Electoral College in presidential elections.

The compact, which has now enlisted 18 states and the District of Columbia, would make the state’s Electoral College votes be whatever the national popular vote is, potentially nullifying democracy in the name of democracy.

If you doubt that our elitist media are a powerful component in the Democrat Party messaging machine, see what happened to Rep. Eric Swalwell of California. His career collapsed. Within about 48 hours, he went from the leading Democrat in a very fragmented field for governor of the Golden State to an exit ramp out of Congress.

It was a conservative pouncing party when CNN media reporter Brian Stelter touted Swalwell’s sudden misfortune as a “real testament to the power of investigative reporting.” Assembling a set of damning allegations of sexual assault certainly looks like investigative reporting. But the assembly can often look remarkably organized and timed for political effect.

In this case, California Democrats have been growing increasingly panicked at the polls in their “jungle primary” for governor – where the top two vote-getters (regardless of party) advance to a general-election runoff. It had become disastrously possible that the Top Two could both be Republicans – Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco. Democrats needed to shrink their field of candidates. So voila, “investigative reporting” dropped a bomb on Swalwell – from the liberal San Francisco Chronicle and liberal CNN.

KB Home, which has a market cap of $3.25 billion, has announced that it plans to move its corporate headquarters from Los Angeles to Tempe, a suburb of Phoenix, beginning next spring.

The company’s leadership has said that the move is expected to save money and increase efficiency.

Westbrook, the CEO of the United Council of Human Services, is currently accused of misappropriating $1.2 million and a lawsuit claims that she told staffers about buying a Tesla for herself, handing out luxury cars to other family members, vacationing in Aruba and driving around for some unstated reason with a “a trunk full of high-priced jewelry”.

“I guess it’s because I’m a black woman,” Westbrook had said of critics. “I think it’s racism. They don’t want a black woman running this organization.”

CA State Assemblymember Carl DeMaio is slamming state Democrats for voting to advance a controversial new law (AB 2624) to silence citizen journalists and shield taxpayer-funded organizations from public scrutiny.

DeMaio has gone as far as dubbing AB 2624 the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” for the chilling effect it will have on free speech.

AB 2624 comes as independent journalists like Nick Shirley have used viral videos to expose fraud and abuse in government-funded programs using on-the-ground footage and firsthand documentation.

AB 2624 claims to be about protecting immigrant organizations from “threats of violence,” when in fact the legislation would apply to any left-wing group that claims to provide any services to legal or illegal immigrants. For example, under AB 2624 entities like the Somali “Learing” Daycare centers would all be covered if they operated inside California.

During a recent Assembly committee hearing, DeMaio directly confronted the bill’s author, Mia Bonta, over language that would allow individuals affiliated with certain organizations to demand the removal of video recordings — even if taken in public — and even impose costly financial penalties against those who publish the videos online.

A tight primary race between the three Democrat candidates for Michigan’s Senate seat is showcasing the different extremes of the Democratic Party.

According to polls, voters are currently divided among a center-left congresswoman who is backed by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, a physician who appears to be sympathetic toward Islamic radicals, and a current state senator who has been accused by her colleague of “grooming” children while adopting popular Democrat stances.

Ruben Gallego (D., Ariz.) have withdrawn their endorsements.

The fact, however, is that (regardless of the merits of these latest allegations), Swalwell was always a notorious figure in Washington who was constructed by Pelosi and others to serve their interests.

Fortunately, these problems have a tendency to solve themselves over time. Think of it as evolution in action.

Massachusetts lawmakers are barreling ahead with a bill that would force the state to slash the total miles residents drive, all under the banner of cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

The proposal, Senate Bill S.2246, doesn’t slap a hard cap on your daily commute… yet – but it orders the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to set binding goals for reducing statewide vehicle miles traveled (VMT). It also creates a new government council tasked with pushing people onto public transit whether they like it or not.

One of the main organizations behind the recent protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations is encouraging children to walk out of class en masse next month to help promote its agenda, which includes achieving what it said are “Eco-socialism, [a] multi-racial democracy, and Green New Deal legislation,” according to a April 8 report by representatives of parent group Defending Education.

I’ve never heard of ‘eco-socialism’. Is that another one of the Left’s made-up mouth-wrangles, like ‘social justice’?

Remember when New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said on the campaign trail that he wanted to increase taxes on richer, “whiter” residents? It seems he meant what he said.

That much should be obvious following New York Mamdani’s announcement on Monday that he’s going forward with a so-called Preliminary Citywide Racial Equity Plan.

The plan released by the mayor’s office says that “New York’s history has been one of colonization, exploitation, and racial oppression.”

It’s striking that a Muslim man born to Indian parents in Uganda, who only became a U.S. citizen in 2018 and yet is now mayor of the nation’s largest city, sees no irony in condemning New York’s history of “colonization.” But that’s just how it is on the Left. Only some colonizers are the bad ones.

As the Department of Homeland Security shutdown slouches through its seventh week, this outrage should convince voters that the Democrats have devolved into a delivery system for pain. Yet again, the so-called “Party of the Little Guy” relishes in making regular Americans writhe in agony so Democrats can score political points and weaponize whatever partisan advantage they can muster. Hope and Change have decayed into Cruelty and Sadism.

Since Valentine’s Day, American travelers have stood in hours-long lines that have snaked through airport terminals, out front doors, and into parking structures. Wait times have stretched into three and even four hours. Anxious babies have exhausted young parents before flights. Older passengers have shifted carry-on bags between their weary shoulders as their backs and knees buckle. Throats have parched at security checks as boredom approaches paralysis. If not Hell, Democrats have turned U.S. airports into Purgatory with wings.

But, after enduring this agony, travelers have boarded their aircraft and jetted back to normal. For TSA agents, things have been far tougher. Most have worked valiantly without pay. While President Donald J. Trump’s executive order has begun to pay their back wages, many remain delinquent on credit cards, car loans, rents, and mortgages—through no fault of their own.

TSA agents have taken second jobs. Others have relied on food banks. Some have slept in their cars. Roughly 500 simply have quit their jobs. Who can blame them?

In the interim, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and other Senate Democrats repeatedly have torpedoed Republican attempts to reopen DHS. Democrats’ goal: Make ICE leave illegal aliens alone.

The Hillel at Michigan State University said it was “deeply troubled” by Piker’s planned visit to campus, calling him a “known antisemite,” while at least one planned speaker, a state representative, backed out of the rallies citing the concerns of her Jewish constituents.

National Jewish leaders also criticized the planned events, with some comparing Piker to Nick Fuentes, the openly antisemitic livestreamer who has divided Republicans and others drawing a connection to the attack last month on Temple Israel.

“Abdul El-Sayed’s decision to host campaign rallies with Piker is not just alarming; it’s absolutely shocking. It reflects a broader trend: the dangerous normalization of antisemitism in our politics,” tweeted Jonathan Greenblatt, the head of the Anti-Defamation League. “That this is happening in Michigan, where Temple Israel was targeted in a violent antisemitic attack … makes it even more egregious.”

California Democrats have a problem with their leading candidates. One doesn’t live in the state but allegedly lived, in the euphemistic sense, with a Chinese spy. Another has the looks and personality of a distempered boar and can’t stop screaming at staffers, reporters and anyone late with her lunch. A third is a billionaire who convenes events at luxury hotels to explain how he’ll fight against the billionaires for the working class he sometimes reads about in the paper.

And those are their most popular candidates.

But since this is California, the real problem is that all of those candidates are all the wrong color. Their skin lacks melanin. Two of them can’t even tan. Their distant ancestors probably came here on the Mayflower or some other European sailing vessel. Basically they’re white.

Much too white.

There are other more ‘diverse’ candidates like a Latino former Los Angeles mayor, a Chinese State Controller, a Black Jewish school superintendent, and Biden’s former Latino Secretary of Health and Human Services (he’s still Latino, but a former secretary), but the public isn’t interested in voting for them or giving them money and so they’re not viable candidates.

What are the Democrats to do when their voters just aren’t interested in diversity?

California is a cash machine. The state collects some of the country’s highest income, business, and fuel taxes, and now spends more than $300 billion per year. And yet, everywhere you look, California seems to be falling apart.

The roads are crumbling. Mismanaged wildfires have turned neighborhoods into ash. Drug addiction and homelessness have metastasized, turning parts of Los Angeles and San Francisco into no-go zones. And the cost-of-living crisis is pricing middle-class taxpayers out of basic necessities like groceries and gas, even as the state spends billions on welfare programs that never seem to lift anyone out of poverty.

Californians are beginning to ask: Where is all this money going? On paper, it funds hospitals, universities, schools, prisons, infrastructure, and other public services. But beneath the surface, something else is happening that California Governor Gavin Newsom does not want you to see: massive, systematic, brazen fraud.

Mark Moran, who is running for Virginia’s U.S. Senate seat, announced Thursday that he is leaving the Democratic Party and will continue his campaign as an independent.

Moran had been one of four challengers seeking the Democrat nomination to unseat incumbent Sen. Mark Warner.

Moran, 34, a former investment banker, made the announcement in a video posted on X and recorded outside St. John’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia, the site of Patrick Henry’s 1775 “Give me liberty or give me death!” speech.

He cited a desire to put “Virginia and America first” above party divisions.

Two illegal aliens in Fairfax County, Virginia pleaded guilty to murder and could be back out on the street in three years, thanks to a sweetheart deal given them by a progressive prosecutor known for going easy of criminals who illegally enter the U.S.

“The reason why the two men will be serving five years behind bars for murder is that Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano’s office offered them a generous plea deal. And both men took it,” WJLA’s Nick Minock reported Thursday:

The two, if convicted via a trial, could have been sentenced to as much as 40 years in prison.

As the sanctuary state’s Commonwealth’s attorney, Descano has made national headlines by going soft on illegal alien criminals, such as in the case of the murder of Stephanie Minter, who was stabbed to death at a bus.

Minter’s suspected killer, Abdul Jalloh, is an illegal alien with a long criminal history who was free at the time of the murder because Descano’s office ignored warnings from other law enforcement officials not to release him because he posed a danger to the community.

“Wherever possible, Steve will make charging and plea decisions that limit or avoid immigration consequences,” Descano’s website vows.
