Five Million Non-EU Immigrants Living in UK
12th July 2012
You’ll note how they carefully refrain from specifying just where these ‘non-EU immigrants’ came from … it is, of course, a Voice of the Crust code-word for Pakistanis and other Asian Muslims. But it wouldn’t be Politically Correct to say so.
It would also be interesting to cross-reference these ‘non-EU immigrants’ against the crime statistics. But of course no newspaper in Britain, much less the BBC, would dare to do so; in the UK you can go to jail for that sort of ‘hate crime’.

From the article:
“”In 2011, there were 48.9 million foreign-born people living in the EU27 Member States, with 16.5 million born in another Member State than the one in which they live and 32.4 million born in a country outside the EU27.”
Wow – a slow motion The Camp of the Saints. Of course, the same thing is happening here, with the enthusiastic help and approbation of both the Democrats and the “job’s American’s won’t take” Republicans. Same Crustian policy, with a different accent.

Well, so much for “Give me your tired, your poor”. More exclusionary rhetoric from our own domestic Know Nothing.
I guess the American Dream is only for the native born–preferably going back two or more generations.

Yeah – so much for it. Unless you’re seriously suggesting that a catchy ditty inscribed on a statue in New York Harbor is the basis for a sound immigration policy? Given that most spittle-dribbling Leftists fit Orwell’s definition of men “who think in slogans” – and we’ve seen much evidence of that definition in action, some of it right here on this very site – it wouldn’t surprise me if you did believe you’ve just offered up some kind of debate-ending epiphany on the immigration issue by quoting the only two lines from “The New Colossus” you likely can recall without resorting to Wikipedia.
And you even managed to work in a line about the “Know Nothings”…gosh, that’s original, Denny. I’ll bet your the first liberal who ever thought to accuse someone who disagrees with you on the immigration issue a “Know Nothing”…Boy howdy, I’ve been shown what fer!

After picking through the sneering and condecension, I can’t seem to find any point that’s relevant to the discussion at hand. Did you have one?
