But of course the Crust can’t be bothered with this sort of thing — they’re too busy protesting Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo.

Conveniently left unsaid is that the latest mess in Syria is perpetrated by Syrians.
Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo were/are perpetrated by us.
We can deplore the neighbor kids acting like animals, maybe even speak out. But it’s not our responsibility. When it’s our kids acting up, however, we need to do something.
