The Other McCain Ponders the Brazilian Wax

20th December 2011

Read it.

Do Tennessee fans take umbrage at such ribald putdowns? Of course they do — and that’s exactly my point. If promiscuity did not inspire an instinctive moral horror, then there would be no offense in saying that UT coeds put out like Pez dispensers.

Contrary to feminist dogma, the stigma attached to “sexually active women . . . who are not in monogamous relationships” isn’t a learned response inculcated by The Patriarchy, but rather a reflection of our innate sense that such behavior is contrary to the social good.

Piercings and tattoos are the ultimate Fashion Statement, representing a monumental commitment to a degree of narcissism that serves as the cornerstone of a deeply flawed character.

“Contrary to feminist dogma, the stigma attached to “sexually active women . . . who are not in monogamous relationships” isn’t a learned response inculcated by The Patriarchy, but rather a reflection of our innate sense that such behavior is contrary to the social good.” Blanket statement from cultural bias, unsupported by evidence.

There are, in fact, many cultures in the world where sexual activity among unmarried females never raises an eyebrow; it is sexual misconduct by married women which is the big universal No-No.

Another appeal to ‘Natural Law’ which is, in fact, not a natural law but rather an extrapolation to a universal from a particular cultural viewpoint.

If we all–and by inclusion those inclined to indulge in it–had an ‘innate sense’ that such behavior is contrary to the social good, why would we need to stigmatize it?
Or to put it another way, if we are naturally disinclined to do it, why do we feel the need to make rules about it?

“…everybody in Tuscaloosa knows why Auburn installed artificial turf at Jordan-Hare Stadium: To prevent the homecoming queen from grazing.”
A side comment about this completely misunderstood joke: The point of the slur is to to imply that Auburn coeds are all cows, not that they’re lesbian.

We used to ask, Q: What’s the difference between an Ohio coed and an elephant? A: About 10 pounds.
Follow up Q: How do you make up the difference? A: Force-feed the elephant.
