I’m for increasing the taxes of Buffett and Gates,and anyone else who likes to say they should be taxed more but aren’t already paying. Soon others will learn it’s good not to say something stupid.
Well, that’s the point — they’re perfectly free to give whatever they think is proper over and above what the law requires … but they don’t. They just call for raising rates on The Other Guy. Which means that there’s something at work here other than a feeling of guilt that they’re undertaxed. And what that something is, I’ve stated more than once.
