Have they not seen “The Terminator”? I see some serious risk in having Predator drones and robo-guards. Unlike the movies, I don’t think the risk lies with the machines but with those who are in charge of them: Obama, Pelosi, …
R.E.Lee, somewhat of a first-hand expert on war, once said (at Fredricksburg), “It’s a good thing that war is so terrible, else we might grow to like it.”
It is necessary that war is terrible and painful – and very personal. Not something to be run by geeks who think they’re playing an upscale version of Halo. And not something that can be automated for those who see only bowed heads or enemies of the state.
