The New York Times Thinks “White Pill” Means Taking Cyanide
5th November 2026
The mainstream media is corrupt, they’re dishonest, they’re biased.
But let’s never forget that they’re also very dumb.
I understand if you’re not into online lingo, so let me explain.
White pill and black pill are plays on a Matrix meme. “Red pill” generally means to open your eyes and become right-wing. “White pill” is, essentially, a reference to optimism, and “black pill” to pessimism.
I can forgive you for not knowing the memes. But if you’re a New York Times writer or editor, you have to know that the “white pill” doesn’t mean suicide by cyanide.
