Matteo Salvini: “Milan Will Be Garrisoned”

For the last few weeks Italy, like other Western European countries, has been afflicted with mass “student” riots, with all the customary burning and looting that accompanies them. I reported last Wednesday on the emergence of a violent revolutionary initiative in Milan known as the October 17 Movement.
A few days ago Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini answered press questions about the government’s response to the rioting in Milan and other Italian cities. The assembled reporters seemed to be alarmed by Mr. Salvini’s description of the actions planned for the defense of Milan, which include beefed-up police patrols and the deployment of La Folgore paratroopers to protect public spaces, but the deputy prime minister was unfazed, and remained adamant about what must be done.
