When the Melanin Gradient Goes in the Wrong Direction

As reported in Friday’s news feed (see, for example, this New York Post report), a gunman in Trappes, a suburb of Paris, opened fire on a number of people, allegedly targeting immigrants. One person was killed and several others wounded.
Immediately after the incident President Emmanuel Macron said that the attack was the first terrorist act in France committed for reasons of skin color or religion, evidently forgetting all those Jews and white Christians who have been targeted by culture-enrichers in France over the past twenty years or so.
Or maybe Mr. Macron has dutifully absorbed the teachings of Critical Race Theory, which holds that people of color cannot possibly be racist, because they lack the power held by their white oppressors etc blah yak.
In any case, a number of critics (all of them presumably WAYCISTS of various stripes) have taken the president to task for his statement.
