The Hypocrisy of Jon Ossoff: Nearly 50 Out-of-State Billionaires Funded His Campaign

Sen. Jon Ossoff has railed against wealthy elites, billionaires, and “corruption” dozens of times out on the campaign trail, but the Democrat seems to keep quiet about the nearly 50 out-of-state billionaires who have funded his race for Senate.
Back in July, the Washington Free Beacon reported on 39 billionaires who have donated to Ossoff in his race against Rep. Mike Collins. Between July and September, campaign filings show he has added at least eight new billionaire donors, with each one giving the maximum contribution.
“The vast sums of corporate and billionaire money in our political system, with or without [President Donald] Trump, are why ordinary people are so ill-served by elected officials and by Congress,” Ossoff said on the “Pod Save America” podcast a little more than a year ago.
