Creepy Ad Tells Grandparents to Get Consent Before Hugging Their Own Grandkids

A publicly funded advert from the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre’s We-Consent campaign shows grandparents arriving at the front door. One grandchild rushes in for a hug. The other winces and recoils as the older couple lean in. The voiceover declares: “Not everyone wants a hug. Even from the people who love them. Awkward? Maybe. Important? Absolutely.”
