I can’t imagine any self-respecting straight white man wanting to work in Ed Markey’s office, but offering the job only to minorities is obviously discriminatory and should get you into a lot of trouble.
The word “encouraged” is doing the heavy lifting in Markey’s post.
White men can apply, but good luck getting the job!
