To be fair, English cuisine sets a pretty low bar.
There is also a video in this series in which they try biscuits and creme gravy with sweet tea, which is also a hit.
Cornbread, however, receives a less favorable reception. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide them with hush puppies, which I suspect they would have found more appealing.
I tremble to think how they would react to grits….
