Formula One’s Liberty Media Leaves Delaware, $3.2 Trillion Exits State

Major corporations are continuing a historic exodus from Delaware, abandoning the state long considered America’s corporate capital in favor of business-friendly states such as Texas and Nevada.
The latest high-profile corporate departures from Delaware include Formula One owner Liberty Media and cloud security firm Datadog — with a combined market cap of more than $80 billion.
The past two years alone major corporations with a market capitalization totaling more than $3.2 trillion have left Delaware — as the state loses its status as America’s corporate capital in favor of business-friendly states such as Texas and Nevada.
