‘Islamic State Brides’ Arrested on Return to Australia

A group of suspected Islamic State (IS) brides have been arrested in Australia after arriving with their children on flights from Syria.
Three women were immediately taken into custody after two flights with women and children linked to IS landed in Sydney and Melbourne on Thursday.
Kawsar Abbas, 53, who arrived in Melbourne, was expected to be charged with four counts of crimes against humanity relating to slavery, the Australian Federal Police said. Each charge would carry a maximum of 25 ?years in prison.
