I was informed by the American left that this is fiction. Of course, it fits with logic and many decades of living experience. These “people” bring along their living habits when you import them from the wild without house training. I have seen large numbers of exotic imports set up camps where no camping is permitted and fish away for several days without regard for open seasons on fish species, size limits, creel limits, or even being licensed to fish at all in the first place. The game wardens could easily fill a years quota of violations if they raided these places, but they studiously ignore them and check the middle aged white guy with the fly rod for his license.
