Labour ‘Gaslighting Public’ With Edited Clip of Reform’s By-Election Candidate

Labour has been accused of peddling misinformation by sharing a misleading clip from a speech made by Reform UK’s candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election.
The party became embroiled in a row on social media after posting a video from an address given by Matthew Goodwin.
In the video shared on X, Mr Goodwin tells an audience: “I was lucky enough or unfortunate enough to be in Manchester a few days ago and the energy in this room is ten times what it was in Manchester so congratulations.”
