Overt comments by US representatives in support of a separatist movement in the Canadian province of Alberta are “unbecoming and troublesome,” says former deputy premier of Alberta and founder of the ‘Forever Canadian’ petition, Thomas Lukaszuk.

    He’s not wrong.
    See, that’s why this current form of rhetoric and politics is such a problem. It’s not that I’m in support of the ‘rules based order’ or whatever the fuck BS they spout, it’s that there are no rules anymore. How exactly would we feel if Canada and their government officials came out in support of the rioters in Minneapolis? “We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters…” Cheeto Jesus would slap a 1000% tariff on them before the twat got cold.
