California authorities ignored an ICE detainer — now, six people are dead,” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported Tuesday after an illegal alien drove a van into a tree killing six passengers and injuring another.

“Cerillo-Bialva has been removed from the United States seven times—a felony—and maintains an extensive criminal history,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement, noting that the illegal alien has “an extensive criminal history,” including:

Possession of cocaine.
Three DUIs.
Driving without a license.
Violating a court ordered restraining order for domestic abuse.

As a result of his state’s refusal to honor the ICE detainer, Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom “has blood on his hands,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said:
