I’ve been at the processing areas where the plastics that people carefully sorted out of their trash and properly loaded into the recycling bin is compressed and sent directly to the landfill with all of the regular garbage. China no longer pays for recycle (they have enough of their own) and domestic recycling is almost non-existent. (Mothers won’t buy milk for their children in a recycled jug.) We pay extra and we do extra work and yet it’s doing nothing. BUT, we get to FEEL GOOD that we’ve helped save the Earth.
