Read it.

I’ll bet you didn’t know that police (yes, that includes the FBI) can lie like a rug to you and face no consequences (other than perhaps a promotion), while if you lie to them you could go to jail. (Paging Martha Stewart….)

It should end. No government employee should ever be allowed to lie to a citizen for any reason. The dangers of lying government employees vastly outweigh any benefit from them lying. If a cop will lie once, he will lie 100 times. In court, on reports, to your face. Do we deal in the truth or lies? Satan is the Father of Lies.

  2. Frank Says:

I understand why police lie; often it’s the fastest way to get to the truth. But it still is wrong. They should do their job and find the truth on their own. Related to this is the use of confidential informants. It’s another way of lying and subterfuge that should be eliminated from law enforcement.

  3. Tim of Angle Says:

The problem is that police have The Democrat Attitude, BY WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY IN A GOOD CAUSE. A lot of people will buy into this, never thinking how it can be abused. There is a reason the Due Process is enshrined in the Constitution.
