78% of Democrats Want Trump’s Name Off the Ballot

Democrats overwhelmingly approve of states removing former President Donald Trump’s name from 2024 election ballots.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of state officials removing Trump’s name from the ballot, including 34% who Strongly Approve. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove, including 42% who Strongly Disapprove of states taking Trump’s name off the ballot. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 880 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on February 8 and 11-12, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
