Leading up to that assessment is a catalogue of outrages – attacks targeting women, men, churches and Christian-owned businesses with guns, bombs, stones and fists – inflicted regularly by Moslem fanatics on Bethlehem’s dwindling Christian minority. The Palestinian Authority, which is in charge of security in the city, suppresses reports of anti-Christian attacks rather than the attacks themselves. International organizations, focused on blaming Israel for all that goes wrong in the Middle East, aren’t much interested in the plight of Christians.
