What ‘America Is Back’ Really Means

‘America is back.’ Speaking to the 57th annual Munich Security Conference, Joe Biden made that point for the umpteenth time in his short presidency. His crisp declarative sentence requires decoding, of course. To his audience of European elites, he was offering this assurance: ‘Trump is gone and won’t be returning anytime soon: trust me.’
In other words, the Swamp is back in charge and we member of the Transnational Ruling Class can get back to the way we were before Trump ruined everything.
Alternatively it could express the reality that Trump put America first and Democrats will return it to the back of the bus where it belongs — for a hefty fee, of course.
