    Writers before the internet frequently wrote about what might happen when information is massively available to anyone who wants to look at it. Would people become overwhelmed, would it affect their ability to relate, would it cause catastrophe?

    Now we know what happens.

    People ignore it.

    Holocaust? We’re not sure it happened. WWII? Too upsetting to discuss. Hitler? Well, Hitler is anybody who doesn’t agree with us. Communism, socialism, Cold Wars, mass starvation, Mutually Assured Destruction, music, literature, architecture, …? If it isn’t directly addressed by a Kardashian, it must not be important.

    Waco? Wounded Knee? Ruby Ridge? Millennials don’t see any reason to distrust the government. The government is the source of all free stuff!
