Viewpoint: Why Do People Mock Vegans?

Read it.

When Selene Nelson pitched some articles on plant-based food to magazine editor William Sitwell, he wrote back suggesting a series on killing vegans – and was forced to resign in the storm that followed. Here Nelson explains what it was like at the centre of that storm, and how it felt to meet Sitwell for The One Show.

  1. Craig Austin Says:

Vegans are all made of meat, talk about hypocrites. Not all vegans are sickly, smelly and ignorant, cattle are vegan and they are quite tolerable and delicious.

  2. RealRick Says:

Vegan is a religion masquerading as a diet.

At least the Moonies were pretty much limited to the airport and Jehovah’s Witnesses were pretty much limited to leaving pamphlets at the door. Vegans will track you down and preach their gospel at every opportunity.

I have only one word for Vegans: BACON!
