    Some one did not pull or check the circuit breakers to make sure they were not pushed in.
    Put power to the F-16 to activate the plane.
    Someone overrode the wheels up switches in the wheel bays. There are two, one for the left wheel and one for the right wheel.
    Plus pulled out the disarming pin out of the gun.
    Plus pushed the cowl switch to select 4000 or 6000 rounds per minute.
    Then pulled the trigger on the joy stick to see what would happened.
    I was NOT an accident to override all these interlocks to fire the gun.
    He wanted to do it or was set up by other people to fire the gun.
    Worked on A-7Es when I was in the US Navy. It used about the same 20mm Gatling gun as the F-16.
    Knew what to do so I would not get my self killed or other people killed when working in the A-7E. Just common sense for working around dangerous equipment.
